Teenager Who Killed Parents Over Halo 3 Found Guilty

Color me unsurprised. It's not complicated: Get Gun + Kill Parents = You're Guilty. It doesn't matter if you're "feeling bad" or "falling down drunk," you don't get off the hook for that. You can add "+ Plus Shoot Self" to the left side of the equation but the result to the right side is just "You're Guilty + Dead."
Though I frown on looking outside in on these little cases:
You weren't there. I wasn't there. For all any of us know, his parents treated him like shit his whole life and the reason why he went this far had nothing to do with video games, but rather because he'd finally had enough. Or his brain is flat out physically broken. In either case, why should you be surprised at the result? It's a boringly simple result given the obvious ingredients.
In this way, threads which invite us to be slack-jacked idiots and speculate other other people's tragedies sicken me. Hurray, kid pushed over the edge or mentally retarded commits slaying. Lets drag that out under the spotlight to point and laugh at some more.

It makes me sick that lawyers tried to blame a Halo 3 addiction... when he was yet to play it. And I culdn't even imagine any reason to kill/attempt to kill your parents. He is obviously 3 fries short of a happy meal and unfourtunatly for the parents, who must have seen a problem between him and games, they suffered the most. Lock him up and throw away the key.
what I don't get is how can you be addicted to a game that is so easy?
Halo 3 is one of the easiest fps' I have ever played. So the way I see it is he:
A: Really sucked and could'nt get passed the first level on normal
B: Was a physco and was going to kill his parents anyway
btw: Dr.kay you started it, what I think Lyiat is trying to say is this stuff does not happen exculsivly in america. Some weird shit happens all over the globe and it is not just america. You're basicly saying that only in England, people have bad teeth. break it up.

We have a winner! There has been some crazy video game related stuff happen in places besides America. Stories of Korean gamers that play StarCraft or some MMO until they died of exhaustion come up every now and then. I remember one story where a Korean couple were arrested for neglecting their baby, who died because they left him at home alone and went to play WoW all day at an Internet cafe. I remember one Chinese guy who died after playing online games for over 30 hours without any breaks for food or rest. If anything, weird and tragic game-related crimes/incidents happen just as much in Asia (Primarily Korea, China, and Japan).Dufferking75 said:
