I'm 18, live in t' Yorkshire and like many people in t' Yorkshire I'm not working, but unlike many people in t' Yorkshire I'm working my arse off looking for work and have an interview on Thursday...
Been with my boyfriend for 15 months now and we recently moved in together.
I know my alphabet in sign language and always leave a bit of tea in the bottom of the cup. Only met one other person who does that.

I do that too, maybe it's a northern thing?

Maybe. The other girl who I knew did was a Northerner too. I do it because I'm scared I;ll choke on the last little bit, didn't really know about her.

I do it because if any of the tea leaked through the bag or if any sugar was improperly stirred it will end up in the bottom

I live in Bath. Not far away at all - less than 10 miles, I believe?

The music scene here is good, considering the size of the city.. We have one dedicated 'alternative' pub (the Hobgoblin) and then one 'alternative' themed club night (Discord).

Unfortunately, my college timetable says I'm not allowed to attend Discord anymore, unless for some reason I'm off college that week. Sucks, really.

I used to drive through bath all the time on the way to my ex's, it's cool, a very chilled place during the day, lots of elderly couples.

So if you attend (or used to) alternative nights, what sort of music are you into?

I'm 17, currently at 6th Form (the equivalent of College I guess) I don't have a job and can't drive.

I like playing the drums and I'm in a band called 'The White Lines', after 6th form/ college I hope to go to University to do a course in software engineering.

I also make 'Lets Play' videos on youtube as a hobby.

I'm turning 15 in two weeks and am currently in Freshman year. I live in my basement and over the summer I mow lawns to finance my video game habit. I want to either be a politican, a video game developer, or a writer (preferably for video games). I love me a good RPG(Dragon age Origins, KOTOR, Mass Effect, Fallout, etc.), and play TF2 "religiously" (according to my friends). And I love to read Sci-fi.

Im 19 and live in sweden. I am studying to become a "socionom" essentially a social worker,to combine my interest in psychology and my desire to help people, until I find my real place. There is man,many things I want to do. I want do write a book(doing)draw a comic(preparing)sing,(may start),act/ do vidios (peeps say I should be a actor/comedian) and I try to learn any language I come across; currently I am at 7(few words/basic understanding).

For now I am working as a personal assistant, where I mostly eat good food,play games and watch gibli films. I recommend it .

I have no aspirations, am misanthropic, ruthless, cold, and I talk to/work with people when it benefits me. I do believe in common courtesy. In short: I'm what a DnD'er would call chaotic neutral.

Small world, I also live in Florida, and I'm what most DnDers would call "Lawful Good" not to be confused with Lawful Stupid as most people seem to play people like me as. We might follow the rules, but our knowledge of the rules allows us to find loopholes to work within them. >.>

Myers-Briggs, that's right. Sorry, I had just woken up when I was posting and couldn't remember the exact name. Jung only looked at the first and third aspects of that personality test if memory serves. Myers-Briggs added on to it later on. It's an interesting test. Did you take the short one with only like 50 questions or the full fledged one with about 300? I took the long one, so I'm curious to see if you used the shorter one if it turned out to be accurate.

Also, proving that opposites attract, my gf is my exact opposite on the spectrum. I'm ESTJ, and she's...wow I can't recall the lettes right now...Introverted, feeling, intuitive, and...perceiving, that's it. XD

i'm 3 years into a B. Psych degree yet i see mental illness as pathetic, a form of weakness, and generally regard those suffering from a mental illness with... profound distaste... no idea why, and the belief seems impermeable based on arguments i've had, so i'm not that worried

There is part of me that agrees with that to a degree. I used to be a psych major, and some mental illnesses, I agree with you, but there are others that I don't. I wanted to go into psych research, but changed to sociology research when I found out I liked sociology better, much to the dismay of my psych professors.

I don't remember. I think, when I was younger (about 15/16?) Connexions got me to take the shortened version. A few years later I took the longer version, and got the same result - INFP. (Incidentally, that's the same result your girlfriend got. Don't ask me why they use 'N' for intuitive - I guess so the results look better?) The shorter test is still quite reliable, but perhaps doesn't provide as detailed a result as the extended version. I forget how the results were presented; whether or not they displayed percentages.

I understand the opposites attracting thing, though. I can't imagine enjoying a relationship with someone who is effectively my clone. Diversity makes life more interesting.. When things are the same all the time, they tend to stagnate. Mind you, I'm only speaking from my personal experience, flawed as it may be.

I have never beaten a game that is considered to be easy.

I'm a drop out.

I own a gaming Pc, as well a ps3.

I have never lost a chess match OR an arm wrestle.

I used to play chess frequently. I've played against a few masters when I was younger and played often. I won some and lost some, but overall they were impressed that I could keep up with them. It was fun and a good learning experience.

To be honest, though, I take most outside sources that attempt to judge who I am and what I'm like without actually interacting with me with a pinch of salt. They're fun, and they make me evaluate myself.. but nothing more than that, if I'm honest.

In saying that, I've inherited a strong interest in star signs. Not horoscopes, i.e. the kind you read in newspapers and magazines - but the books based around sun signs, and generalized biographies for each of the star signs. I've found mine to be startlingly accurate, although obviously I differ from the generalized 'prototype' they describe.

In case you're interested, I'm a Taurus.

Well, I turn 20 on Saturday. I'm a college student studying medicine, but lately I have been having doubts and might change to something else. At the moment, I'm taking the semester off to work. Unfortunately, it's a terrible, demeaning, soul-destroying job with some of the worst customers this side of the Sahara, but the pay is decent enough for me to keep working there. Right now, there are few things I enjoy, talking to certain people, driving, video games, reading. Other than that, there is nothing else. My job does not give me any free time. I haven't even had a weekend off in almost 2 months. I'm not sure in what direction I should go in my life, and I question my purpose here almost every day. But, there are so many people I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks about this. I've been living here in Costa Rica for over a year, and I gotta say...I love it here. But, I'm still moving back home to finish studying.


I don't know what else to say.

I'm an Aquarius, and a lot of that really depends on what your rising sign is, which you might actually know what I'm talking about there if you've read into it, which it sounds like you have.
