Berry berry interesting, but knowing Telltale they'll blunder their way through a brand new control scheme. Here's hoping they do well enough that people continue to throw franchises at them.
Relic...Jurassic Park...Worgen said:if it was anyone but telltale I would totaly dismiss it... ok telltale or relic or bioware or nintendo. but since it is one of those then Ill wait to see more before I decide its good or bad

What if all 4 of those developers did the game at once?Worgen said:all I know is I want a dinosaur campaignOnyx Oblivion said:Relic...Jurassic Park...Worgen said:if it was anyone but telltale I would totaly dismiss it... ok telltale or relic or bioware or nintendo. but since it is one of those then Ill wait to see more before I decide its good or bad

What if the writing was done by Bioware and Telltale, and the gameplay by Relic and Nintendo?Worgen said:the universe would explode and it would be awesomeOnyx Oblivion said:What if all 4 of those developers did the game at once?Worgen said:all I know is I want a dinosaur campaignOnyx Oblivion said:Relic...Jurassic Park...Worgen said:if it was anyone but telltale I would totaly dismiss it... ok telltale or relic or bioware or nintendo. but since it is one of those then Ill wait to see more before I decide its good or bad

I agree. Telltale haven't yet disappointed me with any of their games to date, or even any of their episodes, so I have no reason to doubt them on this occasion.Worgen said:if it was anyone but telltale I would totaly dismiss it... ok telltale or relic or bioware or nintendo. but since it is one of those then Ill wait to see more before I decide its good or bad
Don't worry, I highly doubt Telltale will be going with that same art style this time around. I think the graphical style will probably be closer to that of their CSI games.008Zulu said:The animated stylings of Sam & Max and Back to the Future were good for those games, but wouldn't make a very scary Jurrasic Park.
I hear you. As a kid I loved dinosaurs, so of course I read Jurassic Park. And man did Genero ever get the shaft in the movie adaptation. In the book he's the best character in there. Yeah he's a lawyer, but he's also a person, a man. He's got a family that he desperately wants to get home to and he'll brave anything to do so. He's limping around clothes torn up, with a lead pipe fighting off the velociraptor pack two or three times, (and killing a couple of them along the way), he runs into dinosaurs he knows nothing about, he dodges the t-rex on multiple occasions, evades hazards like the security system killing him and eventually saves Muldoon (the "clever girl" guy, who in the book survives and teams up with Genero). He's constantly using that nice fat human brain of his, using the lead pipe as a tool, setting up distractions to get around rex and setting traps for the ever pursuing raptor pack. In the book in fact it's Genero who restores the power, using the lead pipe once again to replace the broken lever. Then you get to the movie and he just dies an undignified death cowering on a toilet. He's reduced to a one line joke. "Yeah! We hate lawyers!" I think that was my first real taste of seeing something ruined for the masses to enjoy it.SilverUchiha said:first, I don't care HOW bad it is may be, I plan on getting this as I am still one of the few... the proud... who believe that Jurassic Park was one of the greatest moments in cinema. Best movie ever. Terrible book-to-movie translation, but as a movie, ignoring the fact it was based off a really good book, it's one of the best, ever. .
Will it let me blow up Raptors with a bazooka? If so, I'm in.Ghengis John said:Anyhow, if you've only seen the movie, this will make no sense to you but, a game starring Genero would be great. It would have all the elements. Stealth segments, exploration, puzzles, sections where you're being pursued, man made and natural hazards and heavy combat with the raptors.
What are your views on the sequel - The Lost World?Ghengis John said:I hear you. As a kid I loved dinosaurs, so of course I read Jurassic Park. I must have read the book 15-20 times, because I loved it so much. Wouldn't be against a future full adaptation of the book into a video game of some sort.Ghengis John said:~Gennaro-snip~
