Yeah I don't either. It's just centred around Jack Black and his ego. It's ok for a band to have personality, but Jack Black just thinks he's the incarnation of cool.

He's actually a pretty chill dude. Don't confuse his on-screen mannerisms with his actual personality.

As for the band, I think they're awesome. Jack Black has a surprisingly good voice.

Jack Black is awesome, and I loved the movie and he fit perfect in Brutal Legend, but The Metal is the only song I like by them.

Funny, musically skilled guys. I'm a fan, definitely. I brought myself up musically, initially, at least, with Maiden, Priest, and Dio, and... yeah. They're a great homage and parody to the world of classic rock.

Well I don't hate them, I have no reason to, it's just that it really strikes me as ridiculous that whenevr metal is brought up someone refers to these guys like they are the representatives of metal, which seems 100% inaccurate to me.

Still I like their enthusiasm.
