In every country, street or home people use slang terms. I do not know them all, so...

What kind of terms do you use in daily life, and do you know their meaning?

Chuffed
Miffed
Poppycock
Scallywag

Although the last 2 are just me, not a commonly used thing. XD

Edit: And yes I do know their meaning. But not everyone else does.

Toodles
Bollocks
Bully
I know what they mean but no one else I know uses them. I try to use them as often as possible, hoping they will catch on one day.

Gunt- an enormous belly that hangs over your trousers.

That's the one at the moment. I use TONS of slang, though; way too much to make a list of.

um... I may be misunderstanding the question but some terms I use are random things like...

Friend of friends. (Ex: "Hello there, friend of friends!")

Bloody (Ex: This bloody thing wont move!)

Douchpon (Douche/ tampon)

Jackhole

Chip-chop-chip

etc... yeah i know what they mean...they are pretty simple.

I don't use slang, for the most part.
I don't even know what half of it means.

I do use words like "slattern," "shenanigans," and other words that haven't been in popular use for 50 to 100 years.

Because I can.
Hooray for hilarious shenanigans and jolly wheezes! Oh, and when did you change your avatar? I almost didn't recognise you.

I can't seem to go a day without saying Trope, Aesop, or referencing a title from the site.

i use "assume" and "the meta" an awful lot.

i also refer to personified death as "the archangel azrael", and then get irritated when no-one knows what i'm talking about.

They're not slang, but I catch myself saying "actually" and "though" more often than I should.

I sometimes use words that have been handed down in my family from when my ancestors lived in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I have no idea if they are meant to be used the way we use them, but since I have no clue how to begin spelling them, I'd have a hard time finding out.

I also find myself using words and phrases that are somewhat old fashioned or forgotten by many now and again.
