Good first impression. I would think him to be someone more true to himself and likely not to be some two-faced politicion (short of cosplaying). But Im not dumb enough to vote for someone based on just that. I would just be very hopeful he had good views. (Though Im not eligible to vote for it since I dont live there)

I don't know what politics and Starcraft have to do with each other, but I'd still vote him if I could :D

He's a business owner, hes got spirit and isn't afraid to show his personality, I think he would be a great candidate.

I grew up in Spokane and have fond memories of both John and Merlyn's. In fact I'm pretty sure I spent a majority of my childhood in his first comic book/gaming shop "Gorilla Bob's" - Oh the memories... I talked to my father recently and I guess this isn't the first time he's run for public office. From what I know he runs on a platform of supporting small local businesses (obviously). Anyway, he's a decent man and really cares about the future of Spokane. I wish him well...

This may seem ill-advised, but the real question here is: would you vote for him? I would.

We've already got a Space Marine in UK parliament, he's called Tom Watson.

Tom Watson,
keeping YOU safe.

its really too bad for him that most nerds who would enjoy his campaign are too lazy to actually go out and vote :p

They do know Terran soldiers are like 90% criminals, 'volunteering' for service to be set free from their sentence if they survive?
Well, they're either criminals or deranged psychopaths.
Once a marine survives long enough to be redeemed, they're sent on suicide missions.
They are all basically suicide squads.

I'd vote Zerg.
...who's entire life is essentially a suicide mission.
Yeah, but they don't lie about it.

If he was from NY I would pay the flight ticket to vote for him. Those clowns make me belive that there is true democracy. Instead of whores in expensive suits working for some shady company.

So yeah. I live maybe twenty minutes from that store; been in there countless times. I can't vote for him since I technically live in Spokane Valley which decided to split off from Spokane about seven or eight years ago. Why can't I ever have nice things? Well at least it saves me the effort of going to a polling place come election day... or yeah know, filling out a mail in ballot. So much work.
