Mayda had pretty much no other choice to make money enough for the next nights stay, and the pay was great depending how much she found... though this would be the first time she's heard of mushrooms being used to treat a skin condition, though of course she was the biggest bookworm she knows, had to have a book or two about the subject in the back of her head somewhere. She figured it'd turn up once she actually saw which mushrooms Edna was talking about.

"So 1 gp per each mushroom? That sounds like pretty good pay... but I agree with the smoker next to you, sounds a little too good to be true. Still... I guess beggars can't be choosers. Where might I find these mushrooms?"

Lyra sat with the little goblin mage, though she was less inclined to sit next to Edna given that she wasn't planning on going mushroom hunting. Still, she was curious to hear her answer to the Mage's question. Why was she paying so much and why did she need such help as mages and clerics. What could these Mushrooms possibly do?

"well, once everyone is down here, i'll fill the group in on the details. I'd rather not repeat myself. and i don't hire just any old idiot because i can't trust any old idiot to see the job through without chasing something shiny." she said to both goblins.

That's when the innkeeper chimed in about the mirrors. "Mirrors are expensive my little friend. it would a few months just to even purchase one. This isn't an inn at one of the larger towns or even cities. we make do with priorities here." she explained.

Spoiler: Just a bit of info on the world

This world is new, it's the dawning of a new age, so it's verymuch undeveloped. technology is still in it's baby years. nothing fancy is available widely. only the rich have any sort of luxuries. that isn't to say ruins and past massive structures don't exist.

Veronica took her time getting down stairs, mostly, to clean her self up first. Before long how ever she was making her way back to the main room where every one else had gathered, though a bit distracted by the clasp that held her book to her hip but finally got and and took a seat off to the side of Edna as it seemed she was getting ready to speak about the task at hand.

Kane sat there, watching and listening to the others as they gathered. Curious as to why anyone would be paying that much for shrooms. Even if for a curative, that's alot. They must be rare... He'd have to keep a few to test.

Still this was alot of people for something as simple as shrooms.
