TF2 players, what class do you use the most?

Engineer is my clear outlier, although I'll use Sniper or Pyro if I feel like it.

Played every class except for scout, extensively..

Played the game for 1800 hours so..

My counter tells me that Heavy and Medic are the ones i've played the most, but my favourite at the moment is spy. Often clocking a 5-1, sometimes 10-1 kd, average with him after getting some hints and tips from one of the worlds best spies, a fellaw that has won pretty much every tournament there is to win in TF2.

But most solid overall performance from me will come when playing heavy..

I play Pyro, Soldier, Demoman and Heavy the most, although I think I've got about 25 hours in my least played class (Medic). Pyro is just so much fun. I love nailing people with the Flare Gun. It may be my favourite weapon ever.

Demo/Soldier/Heavy are also fun but sometimes there are just too many of them on the team. That's when I go Sniper/Engy/Scout for a bit of a change. Spy and Medic don't get much use, because I'm a failspy and very few people are good enough to uber on public servers (hell, I've played something like 900 hours and I still mess up maybe a quarter of the ubers I get).

OT: I've put a few hundred more hours into Demo than my second highest, Engie. Engies only 20 or so hours more than Spy, so those 3 are my most used. I think my lowest is scout at 150 or so hours.

I genrally change all the time. But the most common classes I choose (on both PC and Xbox) are the Sniper and the Scout. I like them cuz my friends almost never pick them. Also, I enjoy sniping, and I love how fast the scout is

On defense, engineer or pyro, depending on how bad the spys are. On offense, mostly demo, though occasionally pyro.

As someone who plays Arena exclusively I play as a medic about 95% of the time. I just like that support role character. The other 5% (which is usually when there are too many medics already on the team) I'm either a pyro or a soldier.

usually sniping people from a far is my thing so its mostly sniper then pyro when i want to get into the action and heavy when i want to do something diffrent!
i also use the medic and demo once in a while...

For total play time right now the most is demo followed somewhat by soldier, sniper, and spy. However as to what classes I am using the most right now, that would be soldier, sniper, scout and pyro. I am always partial to playing sniper and I want to get good at scout and soldier has been neglected so I am trying to play those over demo right now. Problem is I really want to get kills on my strange eyelander and its the best class for degroot (except maybe spy on defense) which I play a lot so I am finding that a rather tough goal. I try to get good with every class but I don't play engy, medic, or heavy much because (with the exception of offensive medic which isn't really my style) I feel there isn't terribly much room for improvement.

I pretty much play everything but Scout and Sniper. I've been main-ing Demoman a lot more recently, usually playing the badge-er to annoy the enemy team off the objective so mine can push but when it comes down to we really need to push I play heavy.

Pyro most of the time. I also like to play Solder or medic. But I'm easily at my best as Pyro, pretty much have a tactic to any situation with that guy...... BURN EM ALL WHAA-HAHAHAHAAA HA HA Ha!!!!


Fun fact: Scout stole my record on kill as pyro. I was doing my personal best on a server where it became crowded with pyros so it the server autoswitched some of us to another class the next round, I became a scout and steam counted my kill streak as something I did as scout. A class I had at the time only played 4-7 minutes as.

Spy 99% of the time, I find the Dead Ringer/Ambassador/regular knife combo to be quite a success. Especially the Dead Ringer, it makes my occasional "suicide" runs into a viable tactic.

I play Medic or Heavy when i get onto a team already populated by 3 Spies, nobody seems to bother adhering to the "two spies maximum" rule.

I also find my 0:00:00 time played as Engineer oddly satisfying...
