That Awkward Moment When...

A group effort on the parts of myself and my house mates ensured that another house mate hates us. We were talking in the communal area when he walked past and left, we thought he had gone and talked about some of the weird shit he had got up to the night before, we basically summarised that he was a massive dick, suffice to say he was actually stood outside, and he came back in and walked past us after hearing everything we said.

OT: nothing embarrassing like the events here, only thing I can think of is the first time smowing weed. Got the joint then turned to my friend and said, completely straight, "Now how do I do this?"

Well we were drunk (duh, I'm a finn)
and we start to discuss how low you can go with a girl age wise (yeah, only guys there...)
We were all 18/19 and people started saying 18, 16, 17 and I replied "half your age + 7½" the others started wondering about this theory and came across that it's a pretty good one. There was this one friend who hadn't said anything (really drunk) when he suddenly just spouts out, "it doesn't matter as long as it's something that walks on all four"
The silence in that room can't even be described, really funny afterwards thou xD

Ah, that I am familiar with as someone explained the theory once when out making a film. They also extended it to bars and clubs and then tried it. She was pretty much ignored (it was in October I think so quite chilly).

I remember at one point during a Highschool Football game an upperclassman made a funny noise (which several other people made too (I'm guessing it was something from rap-culture, they'd go durdrdrd..dayum) and I laughed. He asked what was funny

Me: WTF was that? Man you just sounded like chewbacca...
Him: Chew-what? What is that?
Me: It's the big hairy guy from star wars...".
Him: I don't know who that is, I dont watch Star Wars
Me: .......Oh... Hey look we have the ball....

Now... I'm not a big starwars fan. I grew up watching the original trilogy and I have respect for them but It was beyond me that this guy, whom was older than me, had not seen it. It was just really awkward but then again I guess that's why I was in the nerd category XD

I once fainted during psychology class after getting up. I was stressed, didn't get much sleep, didn't eat or drink anything for about a day, have low blood pressure, and got up too quickly. It made for one wierd experience, especially how embarrassed I felt afterward. I'll never let myself live that down but fortunately it seems most people have forgotten.

On a more positive note, kind of, I had met a girl that I liked whom basically looked after me after I woke up. Unfortunately she moved somewhere else (I think) and I never saw her again...

I passed out once during a trip with one of my classes to a local prison. The timing of the trip was really awkward for my schedule and it ended up that I hadn't eaten or had anything to drink for about 8 hours when I got there. It was also the middle of summer about over 100 degrees outside, and I was wearing all black because I was coming in from work.

Anyway, ended up passing out in the prison, paramedics were called, they did some tests, gave me something to eat and made sure that I didn't drive home by myself. It ended up that I had to get my roommates to drive out to the prison to pick up my car and give me a ride back home. Not only was passing out in front of the class awkward, but then I had a rather awkward conversation with my roommate when I had to explain the situation. It went something like this:

*on the phone*

me: Hey man, I'm at __________ prison and I need you to pick me up. They aren't letting me leave without a ride.

roommate: How much money do you need for bail? I don't have much on me at the moment but I can drop by the bank on the way there and you'll owe me.

That awkward moment when you try and take a leak, but the guy you have a crush on walks into the bathroom, takes the urinal next to, and you clench up and can't go. Then you're all like "Should I just give up? or would that look weird?"

Trust me, guys really don't notice whether the guy next to them is peeing or not. We usually have mental blinders on that make the wall directly in front of us suddenly become the most interesting thing in the universe.

Me and my friends were talking, and for some reason the conversation steered in such a manner that I decided my best response was "because my fingers are penises, you see"

...right as the brother, our headmaster, walked past. I don't see how you can top an awkward moment with both a principal and a man of God.

Heh, I remember when I was younger and was on the train with a couple of classmates, just talking. Then the name of this artist "Di Leva" (wiki it) comes up and I...really loathed that guy back then. So I start monologuing about how much his music sucks, how much his choice of clothing, hair and philosophy made him a Jesus-wannabe that just comes out as sad...all of it, basically.

...and I don't get WHY my classmates are smirking at me as I go on and on...

And then they point behind me as the train pulls to a stop...and I see the freaking guy step out of the cart...because he had been standing a few feet behind me the whole time...

Though I wasn't surprised the guy didn't call me on it, freaking turn-the-other-cheek robe-wearing...jeez, I still loathe him! (And yes, it's unfair of me, but I can't help it, he rubs me the wrong way...)
