EVERY boss from I Wanna Be The Guy.
I get past the guy from street figher can't remember his name then i get my ass kicked.
Hah, that's the first boss! I spent a year on the game and got to Dr. Robotnik and his weird hovercraft. I never got past him...
You're thinking of Mike Tyson. He's talking about Kraidgief.

Miracle Matter. From Kirby 64.
And when I was younger, 02, the final FINAL boss.

And what's truly tragic, is that when I was a kid, Miracle Matter was my *****. I could own that elemental white blood cell so badly.

And 02 raped me with the explosions, green gas, and massive health he had.

Now, 02 cries bloody tears of horror when I kill him without so much as a single hit.

And Miracle Matter towers above me with its sheer might and ability to hit me no matter where I go.

The bossfight in Alpha Protocol where you fight a crazy Russian crackhead blasting 80's music. After playing I paused the game, quit, declared it bullshit and sold it to pre-order Resistance 3.

EDIT: NINJA'D
TURN UP! THE RADIO! I NEED THE MUSIC, GIMME SOME MORE!

That fight is a bit easier with the intel you get from the clearinghouse to poison his drugs, but it's still a hard b***h. Yeah, I remember that one. And the last level bosses...

I'm still shocked no one mentioned Mike Tyson from Punch Out!, but the one I got is a bit more obscure. Orphen: Scion of Sorcery for the PS2 was a bland and boring game, but had a neat little mechanic where you played through three different times, each with one of the survivors from the crashed ship.

After you beat the boss for the last survivor...you wake up in GAIA's lab, and realize that you just pissed off a 50-ft mech of destruction that wrecks your shields and regularly has you deal with those. You have to time your shield/shots near perfect just to start hurting her, and the fight is constantly interrupted by those bits.

Have fun.

Almalexia! It might have been that I had used most of my health potions fighting through the whole dungeon because I would hit her once and she would take out 90% of my health. Then I had to run around the room until it regenerated (Thank you so much, auto-win ring that I stole from Helseth xD) So I guess it wasn't hard, it just took forever.
That was pretty easy, for me - I instantly realised I'd been stockpiling Fortify Strength Potions from all those Hulking Fabricants >:)

She died fast :p
I should have done that! I was trying to hoard those for that wood elf in the ebony armor that attacks you for no reason. Actually, I want to change my answer to him. I have only killed him once in all of my playthroughs

Forever to beat Misty in pokemon because I picked charmander. Can remember having a Nidorino at level 20, I think Charmeleon was at level 26. 16 times I had to battle her, every time I was close to losing, I would just shut my gameboy off and try again. Almost thought about picking bulbasaur and starting over. Oh man, I almost broke my gameboy.

All I can think of is one of the bosses in the 3rd act of FFVIII. I don't remember the name. All I know is that, after all the time and effort I put in, this boss made me give up on the game entirely and give it back to my friend.

Saren, right before the final fight of the game. Not packing any anti shield ammo for that fight is a horrible idea. 30 minutes of pot shots with the sniper rifle and the bastard was still running around on his damn hover thing taunting me. Not Fun.

THAT boss used to be Jecht from FFX a couple of years back. Now I don't have a "THAT" boss. I hope I won't anytime soon either o_o (Although Catherine has the potential to do just that.)

Ares from God of War. I think it took me a few tries tries but it lasted FOREVER and my poor fingers and hands were so cramped up by the end of it. Also, it had that annoying Boss battle cliche where you beat him only to start up a different battle again with him. However, this happened about three or four times.

The Lich King. I guess people don't realise that black swirly stuff on the floor is best avoided, instead of standing in it allowing it to grow and consume the entire raid. To be fair, it's not that bad, I mean it's not like theres angels picking players up and dropping them off the edge at the exact same moment or anything.... Oh wait.

Fucking. Beowulf.

Devil May Cry 3 could have given me a damn coronary. I was playing the Special Edition as well so I can only fear my current state if I had the standard edition.

Dullahan in Golden Sun the Lost Age

Not only is he a secret boss you can only get if you found all the Dijinni in the first game and the second game, but he is also twice as powerful as the actual final boss of the game.

He also had a spell that sent all your Djinni into recovery mode. If he did it within the first few turns it was pretty much GG as he instantly killed your entire party. But all the work was worth it in the end, since he was guarding the best summon in the game. But at that point you probably only had the final boss to use it on.

I even remember his battle theme sounded like you were biting off way more then you could chew. I remember he instantly murdered my entire party in 1 turn and I went "Wait what?"

The Archdemon in Dragon Age. For some fucking stupid reason I decided it would be a good idea take him on with Sten, Alistair, and Dog. I still haven't beaten it to this day.
Try fighting High Dragon first, you use the same strategy with the High Dragon as you do with the Archdemon. Or try killing Flemeth first.

The only real difference between the High Dragon and the Archdemon are that you can summon npcs and hero characters to fight the Archdemon with you. With the High Dragon it's just you and your 3 party members against a giant 10 story dragon.

I beat the high dragon. My main problem was that I don't have a healer and I am a Mage. So aside from my own spells, there is no one heal anyone and the everyone dies.

Deadbeard in Golden Sun 1. That ************ had attacks that were so powerful they were added as endgame spells in the sequel.

Deadbeard wasn't too difficult if you grinded enough, still not as agonizing as Dullahan wiping out all your Dijinni and pretty much instantly killing you with his attacks.

I'd have to say either sephiroth from kingdom hearts, Alma from ninja gaiden, Vergil on Dante must die mode DMC3 or Lu Bu from dynasty warriors.

out of those, Vergil was definitely the hardest to beat ... but i didn't leave the room till he was dead, was about a week ... had to drink my own piss

the big orange dialga from pokemon mystery dungeon 2. pain in the ass. i never beat the guy, and after my 1500th attempt i declared the franchise was awful, the boss was overpowered, and it overall was a horrible sequel to an amazing game.
i don't play pokemon anymore.
Your serious right?
The boss was easy, just stun him (With a stun seed), walk across the room then fire ranged shit.

Also, the sequel was much better than the original IMO. ALOT better.
I. WAS. A. TURTWIG! also no stun seeds :'(

The Shadow Queen from Paper Mario:TTYD,I'm probably just under prepared but it doesn't help that I have to sit through the same long ass cut scene every time.
Oh God, this. That was a great game, but it seriously needed an option to skip right past the incredibly long dialogue exchanges, especially if you're just trying to have another go at the boss fight.
OT: The final boss in Super Meat Boy. At one point, I was just inches away from victory before falling to my death. Cue incoherent screaming.
