One time my friend and I were playing 2v2 Oddball in Halo 3 and we were beating the crap out of the other team. Eventually, we realized that, even when they were left alone with the ball, they didn't get any points. We thought they might not know how to play, so whenever we got close to them, we started yelling "YOU HAVE TO PICK UP THE SKULL TO GET POINTS". And of course, after that they started to score points. Not MUCH, of course. We felt kind of bad for them, actually.

Yep, I was playing a game of killing floor and everyone was so stupid :D

It got Vladnag killed!

Good times.

I found our stupidity awe inspiring :D
Oh god, Killing Floor. We had one friend, when me and a bunch of friends were all playing in the same house, who would go in his room and lock the door, 'cause inevitably this would happen;
Me: Okay, we're getting swarmed! I'll cover you guys, retreat to the door!
Pyro Friend: Go go go!
Support Friend: Some jackass welded the door shit!
Jackass friend (from inside his room): MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

any time I play my Batman character on Saints Row 2 multiplayer. Batman has his whole body covered in black tattoos, all the piercings his face can hold, spiky green hair, Crow makeup, no shirt, no socks, no shoes, just baggy denim shorts. And a bat.

Thing is, unless i'm playing against terrible players, I will ALWAYS lose deathmatch playing Batman. But he's so infuriating that people forget that and accuse me of being cheap, or even cheating. But I ignore them, and Batman keeps up batting people in the face, locking them into an uncontrollable ragdoll, and stunlocking them as they are slowly beaten to death.

In fact, people become so entertained/enraged by this, they will themselves exclusively use bats. And then Batman shoots them all with the RPG

Interesting note, there's always one of those kinds of people in a group of friends. If you cannot figure out who amongst you is the Jackass Friend, it's probably you.

Another interesting note: It's me. >:)

I never really find hardcore noobery to be something that earns my ire. I usually find it funnier to mess with people like that than get upset.

This thread is just making me want to play Killing Floor...

About the only nooby thing I've experienced is that I was kicked from a few games of Counter-Strike:Source a long time ago for being too good. I don't know how I was ever good at it though, I tried again a while back and sucked.

On Halo 3, some guy threatened to report me if I didn't give him the sniper rifle. Usually, that's pathetic, but the problem was he was on the other team. I started aiming exclusively at him.

Everytime I play a (J)RPG and after I finish the story I usually go and read some about the game... I always feel so shit afterwards when I find out about simple things like upgrades and the like that I didn't notice that would've made the game so much simpler -.-

Its definitely amateur weekend on League of Legends too. I've been ad carry Graves 3 times today. All three times I've gone up the middle lane to defend the jungler from potential invasion at the start of the game, and all 3 times the mid champs have started pinging wildly typing "GRAVES GO BOT GRAVES GO BOT".

I get the same crap when i go AD Shaco and run top lane. They all start hooting about how i should be jungling or running bot lane. I just tell them to relax and have fun, about 10 minutes in, i'm fed, running a Phantom Dancer and Infinity Edge and surprisingly they all start whining about how i'm stealing all the kills. Yes. I am. By running top, and warding/checking baron and river. Yes i'm stealing your kills. No gangplank, when you use your ult, you are not guaranteed the kill. No Kat, flashing in and ulting when i have dropped a Malphite down from 100% to about 30 with two abilities, i'm not giving you the kill. It fun, but some days i just wanna uninstall the game and play something else

I'm always that infuriating idiot who counterpicks himself in LoL. Irelia versus Garen? DON'T MIND IF I DO!

Hey Irelia is my best top, Ahri is my best mid and Hecarim is my best jungler. Them's the breaks. I doubt you can truly counter junglers though, they aren't facing off against anyone. They do their own thing pretty much.

At this skill level counterpicks are less important, my friend is so good with Lux for example he regularly beats his counters on a daily basis. Worrying about counterpicks too much at lower ELO levels isn't worth it. You could have a good Katarina and an average Malzahar and the Kat would win despite being countered. Believe me, i've done it.

Battlefield 3 gives me such joy when a new friend decides to buy it and the traditional 'hazing' period begins. Like everyone gathering to watch them try to fly a helicopter for the first time. Or on the seventh attempt when the actually start to fly the following conversation occurs:

"How do you change weapon?"
"It's the B button"
*pause*
"I HATE YOU"
*splat*

Or that horrible moment they realise the sniper is a seriously long range weapon on the game and they end up in a corner of the map waiting for someone to cross a tiny road thats not actually part of the game level and end up 0-0...

Or that blind panic they get from all the lasers and flashlights which leads to you getting inevitably shot everytime you happen to look at them.

Oh and lastly the first time they get C4, realise you cruel you've been to them and they proceed to c4 every single vehicle in the game...

I remember being accused of "hacking" (somehow) the blazblue online which allowed me to perfect this very very scrubby Tager user.

I don't know how you even "hack" suck a thing from a ps3...I guess that's why they removed the linux options, to get at all those darned blazblue hackers! :D

I was playing a match of Gotham City Imposters and somehow my team was just made up of me and one other guy. The other guy was an extremely low level (like 1 or 3) so he pretty much just had the already made classes to choose from and the other team was all high level people (like me) there was also four or five of them. The match ended with my team losing cause this guy was an idiot, he died 26 times and only got 3 kills. I thought to myself "Just go hide some wheres and let me handle it!"

Well, you should give more than two seconds for an explanation after a pause. If someone desperately needs to stop the action so that they can do something, why do you expect them to type out an explanation while the game is still running?

Ask for an explanation, give it, like, ten seconds, then unpause mercilessly.
