The little voice is way more logical than my physically and verbally expressed person. It does its best to keep me from being so impulsive. Also, it definitely has my voice. Think of Nicholas Cage's inner monologue (which we get to hear) in "Weatherman". Same sort of thing.

One of my voices is sometimes the most lazy yet ragingest piece of shit who wants to kill everyone I meet. If he were a real person the only thing stopping him from becoming an absolute serial killer would be his total lack of work ethic.

Other times a different voice reminds me of my failings, mostly in the past, so that I can never forget them until I finally get tired of him and have the first voice kill off this second voice and demolish thought from my brain until I can get to sleep / get back to work on what I was doing.

The third one is basically the one who I can rely on in social situations to get me through them without awkwardness due to his general knowledge of humor and his uncanny ability to act generally awesome. Sometimes he gets too random and attention grabby though, so it's important to reign him in.

Or I just drown 'em out with music stuck in my head.

My 'little voice' keeps yelling "I have two! I have two!"

So I have two.

I feel that I have deprived someone else of their little voice. They can have it back though, this one just says mean things about people that I then have to try really hard to pretend I didn't think.

UPDATE: The second one's singing along to Mr. Sandman by the Chordettes now. I like to do the 'bom bom bom' where possible.

The voice in my head sounds vaguely like Wakko from Animaniacs. He's the reason I'm browsing here instead of working. :)
I don't need a voice to tell me to do that. :)

Interesting...

For me, one of my inner voices has always been rather feminine, but it depends one what I'm thinking of. For normal work-based stuff (science-stuff) it's just my normal voice (think Michael Wincott, only English) in a flat monotone. For fiction, and daily activities etc. it is a feminine version of my voice (without the hoarseness) that's languid and, I find, rather sexy. Or at least, that's what it used to be like. These days, it switches between that and a cross between of my voice and that of my ex-girlfriend. However, for military stuff that I indulge in, it's basically Rod Steiger as Napoleon in Waterloo, though perhaps deeper. And then, when I'm indulging in violence (boxing/fencing) it's my voice again, only slightly more manic.

Hm. All of my voices are male. Not a single feminine one.

how to make a long story short...
i'm the avatar of 4 different entities with no personality of my own, so nothing i do is an accurate reflection of how i feel.
That's interesting, to say the least.

Today I've spent most of my day playing Minecraft. My voice is now either "BUILD" or holding a mental let's play. It's driving me crazy.

Mine sounds like if I was played by James Earl Jones and looks like the drill Sergeant from Full metal jacket. Because for most of the time hes telling me my flaws and how much i suck. He comes only the time of Low self esteem, but for the most part its just noises and weird guitar effects like if Hendrix took acid and meth.

My inside voice worries about doing a single web-search for a project -.-
It is also the most cynical bastard alive, and everything nice I say and mean, or that someone else does, it comes up with some horrific retort, I wish it would go and die. But I know for wishing that It will keep me up tonight :(

Can't remember when mine started splitting into different voices, (or all the same voice in disguise, which makes it weirder when they argue) but they offer varied viewpoints depending (I think) on my state of mind. Funny you should mention the voices' identities, they "look" and "sound" like certain fictional characters their outlooks remind me of. One is the Joker, (Mark Hamil version, naturally) one is Auron, (FFX) one is Jon, (Watchmen) another is Darth Bane, (who I imagine voiced by Infamous 1's Cole McGrath) and so on.
I don't like associating them with seperate entities, as dividing my mind seems like it could go horribly wrong somehow, but no psychotic outbursts so far.
[sub]It used to be just three of the yappy bastards...[/sub]

EDIT: Fuck, I forgot, on the "insanity" aspect of having voices, I can't think of a better way to phrase it (though I'll bet there is one) than this:
"Faced with the inescapable fact that human existence is mad, random and pointless, one in eight of them crack up and go stark slavering buggo! Who can blame them? In a world as psychotic as this... any other response would be crazy!"
[sub]Also, sanity, like most things is in the eye of the beholder, blahphilosophyblah...[/sub]

I'm starting to think I'm the weird one here. The voice in my head is essentially just my voice. Different attitudes sometimes, but still just my voice. Only one.

My little voice is just angry at me at the moment because i'm so mellow and withdrawn from the world, while he wants reactions to things, and wants me to do things that I would consider an inconvenience to me...It's a love-hate relationship to be sure, but we get along just fine.

I forcefully transformed my Little Voice into Eric Idle so I can laugh all the time and get weird looks from strangers.
Dude, that's BRILLIANT!
I hadn't even considered making a transformation. Now I just have to decide, into what...

OT: Today I'm bored, idle and very affected by the gray weather. My Little Voice however is... cheerful. Kinda like a little Rikku from FFX or a little Yuffie from FFVII, except neither annoying nor squeaky.

My voice is usually someone who likes to suggest things, then it's like I'm giving it an evil look and it goes 'Yeah I can't be bothered either'.

It doesn't really have a voice though, just words...in my head.

So far, I have three voices.

1) Sarge, the voice that screams how much of a worthless maggot I am every time I work out. Good thing is he always forces me to put in an extra set in every exercise I do. It's like having your very own drill instructor.

2) Charles, the person I bounce my crazy ideas off. Long story short, the rational part of me. My image of him is he wearing a green t-shirt & jeans, don't really know why.

3) And then there's the voice that's pretty much acts as the ambassador for my body as a whole.

He encourages good posture whenever I walk, and to not drag my feet. He reminds me to brush my teeth or to go visit the doctor. He yells at me whenever I stray from my diet, or when I attempt rough sports. We scream at each other mentally during competitive sports (basketball etc.), especially when my reflexes were late or when I missed a shot. Sometimes Sarge joins in the conversation.

Then they end up arguing with each other.

Also, good to know I'm not the only person who has voices in their head.

At the moment that little voice is feeling rather 'blah' like I am at the moment. I'm sure after some coffee the little voice will return in all her sarcastic and snarky glory.

I guess I can be weird with you since my little voice is just a smaller invisible version of myself. With running commentary, can be really annoying at times.

My voice repeatedly sings or recites ZP episodes, on the occasions when I'm stressed it comes up with this;

So I "Doo Wee Oooh"
And then everything is fine.

My inner voice is.... less than kind.

It is constantly yelling at everyone around me, making accusations about them and their mothers and saying all around nasty things. The worst part is it uses my voice to do it.

I sometimes confuse my opinions on people with the voice's opinion.

Luckily this only seems to surface IRL so when online I don't have to deal with it being angry all the time.

I hate when mine starts to do that!
