Ninja Gaiden for the original Xbox. But not due to a fault of mine - thanks to an update it deleted my save(s) when I was pretty far into the game. I got pissed off and haven't tried to get as far since then. Ah well.

World of Warcraft: The massive pit that swallows my money and time which returns nothing but endless raids and pvp before reaching the best gear to beat the hardest raids.

Borderlands: I loved it at first but got bored as it was just a rip off of world of warcraft.

Grand Theft Auto 4: I spend too much time running people over with busses while throwing nades out the window.

Supreme Commander 1 + 2: Campaings werent that interesting.

And heres a list of other games that i have not finished.......
Mafia 2
Titan Quest
Warcraft 3 + expansion
GTA Vice City
BF:BC2
Just Cause
Dues Ex
Age of Mythology
Age of Empires 1+3
And around 20 others.
The main reason why I dont finish these games is that i loose interest in the single player areas quickly. I prefer multiplayer over single player now days.
Sorry how is borderlands a rip off of WoW?

Fallout 3, I borowed it off a friend but it kept bugging out and prevented me from progressing so I gave up. Had no such problem with New Vegas though.

Max Payne on PS2, there was this one part where you had to walk across a blood trail and if you fell off you'd be sent back to the beginning. I had no idea what it had to do with being a hard boiled undercover cop. PS2 controls for it were so shitty compared to the PC controls. Made it almost impossible. I gave up.

Unfortunately, Ocarina of Time. I never could beat it whether it was sneaking past the Gerudo guards or .... the dreaded Water Temple. Luckily, I just beat the Spirit Temple and am on my way to finally defeat my white whale.

The boredom that this game exudes reached critical mass near the end, and I just couldn't for the life of my understand why I was still playing it. So I quit and never looked back.
This. How so many people claimed this as the game of the year last year I have no idea.
As with anything by Rockstar, the pacing is abhorrent, so I don't particularly blame you for not finishing it.

OT: The Witcher. I just can't get through the opening area - its so dull and dense, the writing's bad and the voice acting's terrible.

At least the second is fantastic!

I got near the end of the game then I just thought why am I playing this? The game became stupidly easy at the end and played like another tutorial telling you the same things you already know, I've still got the game but just haven't played it in about 6 months.

Also Lego Racers for the PS1, I could never beat the last guy, of course it didn't help that I rarely saved it.
Rayman 1 Because I was young and couldn't do the rock levels, you know the ones where that huge purple rock golem thing chases you for the whole level.
Rayman 2 I couldn't get past the bit where you had to ride pumpkins across lava because I never could time the punches right to hit them off a branch and then land on them, I would have loved to complete it but I think I just chucked it after a while

Bionicle and The Incredibles because I was quite small and Runescape got in the way.
Halo Wars, I play it every know and again but then I realise I'm on a timed mission which in an RTS I hate because I MUST upgrade EVERYTHING, which is also why I never completed Age of Empires 3 because on average even a quick play battle on normal took me 40 mins so I could upgrade everything.
LOTR: The Two Towers for PS2, I can't remember why anymore, although it was probably because I couldn't remember the attack combos
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, I couldn't get past one of the first bits and I had to give it back to a friend I borrowed it from.

Oh also heres a nice obscure game for you: Wallace and Gromit Project Zoo, that game was the bane of my existence for about 2 months, I wasn't quick enough with the controls being on the number pad and couldn't get to grips with any other control scheme either. I recently finished it though and found it piss easy.

Donald Duck Goin Quackers for the gbc. Its password load system only sent to to the beginning of the level not the stage. So if you got to the last stage of a level and died you would have to start the whole level over again. It suuuuuuuuucked. And the controls sucked.

Penumbra: Requiem.

I'd played through Penumbra; Overture; Black Plaque; and Dark Descent.

But, I was long out off spare-underwear when I even knew of this game's existence.

Sorry, Frictional. I'm not putting myself through more nightmares.

Or, Sanity's Requiem.

No. This game made me go insane. So... Much... Fake.. TECHNICAL ISSUES... I can't bring myself to finish it...

I never could finish any Elder Scrolls game, Red Dead Redemption, Star Ocean: Last hope, few other older RPGs because it just got too repetitive.

Final Fantasy V. I like it, but for some reason I tend to forget about it for months at a time. Still haven't finished.

Generally speaking, I also have a hard time completing sandbox games. I have so much fun just messing around that I never get to the plot, and get bored of the game long before I've made any progress in the storyline.

But hey, as long as I had fun, I feel like I got what I was supposed to out of the experience.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

I got bogged down and never had the urge to start it again. It was all because of running out of amo when I had to kill that Tyrant in the plane, and the last saved game was in a place where I couldn't get anything. I was 12 and had no internet or friends to ask for help, so I gave up.

I might take it up again.

I have never been able to finish Vampire Rain, the reasons are a combo of being absolute crap and the extremely high difficulty.

If you get hit Once, you loose 3/4's of your health, you also get knocked over and get attacked again before you even get up which instantly kills you.

The level design is about as bad as it comes, your weapons are extremely underpowered, the enemies are 20 times your speed and can jump over a sky scraper easily, and overall it's a very very bad game.

Hm, The Witcher is the first one that comes to mind. Probably means its just the most recent, but I'm pretty good about actually going all the way through a game that I enjoy enough to want to finish.

For a good while I was having problems with crashing that got frustrating enough I stepped back from it for a while and when I came back to it I ended up starting over. I've played through the intro a few times and while I'm definitely a lot further than I have been before, I just got pulled into a multiplayer game with a friend that has been taking up my gaming hours and have had to put it on hold again. Just hoping I can fire it up and still finish it up when I manage to get back to it because it is a great game even if its pretty rough around the edges.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy XII
Final Fantasy XIII

I tried. I really did. I couldn't sit through the games. I managed to get through X-2, but not these, and I'm not sure why. That said, I'm pretty good about finishing games once I start them, normally...

Morrowind. I'm currently on my third attempt to get through it. I'll usually make it about half way through, but stop because the enemies level up faster than I do, so unless I want to spend the next few days killing squibs in the mud to catch up I'm pretty much SOL. Considering that I'd be doing this in order to save a bunch of people who so far have done nothing but spew hate at me for being a foreigner and occasionally jump me, I rarely feel the motivation to do so.

Oh, and GTA, Vice City. I got close to the end, but then the game just stopped giving me new missions. I checked an FAQ and found out that I first had to beat a bunch of arbitrary side-missions involving the businesses the game apparently wanted me to buy, which I had known existed but skipped due to their general pointlessness. I was so disappointed, I did the only reasonable thing and shot up the mall with a minigun while on fire.

Resident Evil 5, I got past the first chapter and gave up because it was so boring and I really hated the gameplay style. I prefer the annoying yet creepy camera angles of the first one, first person just felt weird for RE.

FFXII, just lost all interest even though I'm a huge FF fan.

DK64
Rainbow Six Vegas 2

DK64 is because the final boss is unlocked with these two coins which you have to play these old arcade games to get. Don't say I just can't do it until you've tried said arcade games though.
Rainbow six vegas 2 because it's just bad.

games i quit because i got stuck:
paper mario, the thousand year door. that shadow queen is seriously hard, plus i had borrowed it from a friend, so it wouldn't have been nice of me to ask to keep it for another week or 3 to finish it when i can look up the ending online
final fantasy 8. i have a very good reason for this one: the game kept freezing once i reached a certain cutscene, so i couldn't progress any further

games i quit just because i didn't like them:
shin mogami tensai, digital devil saga. boring as hell, everything is in various shades of grey except the character hair, the combat is unintuitive and clunky at the best of times, and the story is really, really badly told.
fallout 3. i freely admit that i am probably being fiercely unfair here, but the gameplay bored me, the setting bored me and i died a couple of times early on which sealed it. never even tried to play it after the day i borrowed it.

Resonance of Fate. It had that cool art style, fun gameplay, and customizable characters. Basically everything I wanted except... THE STORY WAS SO BORING DDDDDDD: I couldnt even get past chapter 3
Would you still recommend it?

Looking for a some JRPG's for my PS3. And I find my lack of JRPG's disturbing.

OT: I don't know if Alpha Protocol has been mentioned but Alpha Protocol.

I did like it it was just that it decided to corrupt my save file that I was more then half way trough. And I sure as hell didn't want to replay the tutorial and the starter levels.

Grr...Stupid saves...
