Before I begin, no, I'm not on drugs. That's my qualifying statement, so you know this is going to be good.
I've been playing the 3DS quite a bit since I picked it up on launch a few days ago. I find it quite awesome, and the 3D effect doesn't bother me in the slightest -- no headaches or eyestrain or anything of that sort for me, not even when I play it for hours.
But there is one thing odd about it... even when I look away from the 3DS screen, other LCD displays are suddenly feeling pseudo-3D. I keep seeing text on my computer monitor like it's "above" the background, for example, and I could swear that Team Fortress 2 has depth now. A friend of mine noticed this, too, so it isn't just me.
Are any other 3DS players noticing this? I'm not concerned, and it's actually about as epic as side-effects get, but it sure is weird that my mind is trying to make everything else 3D now that I've witnessed an autostereoscopic display with my own two eyes.
