The "Absolute Territory" terrifies me as a concept

I have to say, even though I'm a SJW and therefore apparently sex negative, I look at this and say "So what's the problem again?"
I don't get this thread. This isn't a new thing. I learned about this from No More Heroes 2 back in '09. Whats really wierd is that it came from the term in Evangelion. Which was basically the force field used by the space aliens to render all the military weapons useless. I'd be like calling areolas on women their "minovsky particles".erttheking said:

No where else could you find something so horrifying and endemic of sexual repression or whatever in their culture. When I googled absolute territory stuff, the most I found was some charts along these lines

And I dont see anything particular obsessive or noteworthy about things like this in the grand scheme of things, we've had people devise whole languages to go with fictional space aliens, while i'm pretty sure most people could hash out something like this in 30 minutes. I dont see why people seem to think Japan has multiple laboratories and scientists dedicated to this

When i saw the name of the thread, i thought absolute territory was some military turf conflict issue or something. There's no reason to be scared of a ratio. Weirder things have been studied.
