I thought it was supposed to be a full length trailer that we hadn't seen before.

Nope, welcome to the age of internet marketing, where trailers are posted online before they ever see the screens of theatres.

Much more impressive on a big screen though. For some reason the Batman V. Superman trailer gives a much better impression in theatres then it does on YouTube.
