That's why us American's have two terms for this kind of thing:

An anonymous source: We're making this up.

A source who wishes to remain anonymous: We may actually have a source on this one. But we're still probably making this up.

Captcha: the slogan "no time to waste" is associated with which car?

I have no goddamn clue. Seriously. Captcha questions are supposed to be things like, "What color's the sky" or "Is the Sun yellow," stuff that everybody actually knows, not this marketing crap that you'll only know if you pay attention to marketing.

And, seriously, I realize this is supposed to advertise the car to me, but I'm going to get it wrong, and have no idea which car was even being advertised at me. This is a total failure of both spambot testing and advertisement.

Edit: Picked one at random, happened to be it. Didn't pay enough attention to see which one it was.

I don't doubt that scanning for used games will eventually be done by someone, probably Ubisoft or EA. Then some patch will come along that will cause all those flagged consoles to mysteriously stop functioning.

Socks never lie.

This is truth and fact and truth.
I'd trust anonymous sources if I knew they liked big butts. Because people that like bug butts cannot lie.

Are you saying the great and glorious news writers engage in sock puppetry? Anyone seen Greg Tito in the flesh and was he wearing 2 socks?
Tito only wears socks.

Last time, it was a totally awesome game concept. This week, it's a totally believable look into anonymous sources the gaming business.

I'm not sure if you guys are joking anymore!
Not just gaming business, I believe this technique is highly utilized in the sports media world as well, especially among trade rumour bloggers.

No news day? There's no such thing as a "no news day" when you stalk a ton of game devs on twitter. Like, Paradox Interactive is planning an TBS-RPG like Heroes of Might and Magic. I'm the only one that reported on that last week.

I did always wonder where these "leaks" came from. And also where all my socks went.
THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING! My socks are leaking rumors about the new xbox, which is why they're no longer in my dryer! Genius!!!

Who's the fat guy?

Anyway I'm glad you've gone back to comedy.
He reminds me a little of Harry Knowles, but I'm not sure video games are in his wheelhouse.

I would not be surprised at all if something like this was the case with most "anonymous sources"

The simpsons called - they asked if they can have their joke back when you've finished with it.

Only if they give it back to Red Dwarf once they've wrung it out.

I like the way this comic has gone with a serious story line and funny little "Meanwhile" segments.

Tito only wears socks.
Does he wear them with sandals?

OT: Anyone can be anonymous. Even the author :D
