Finally fixed her torso and shoulders. Also fixed up her boobs. Made them a little perky, doubt she'll mind. kept her right breast there for reference when I get her clothes on. Now to her mashoogana left leg
Thanks for the feedback Fightgarr. The arm is still missing but I'm hoping hat after her leg I can fix it up holding a sword. As for her thighs, I notice that happens to be something I regularly do with figure so yeah I guess you could call it style, speaking of which it really isn't that difficult. Just takes practice, observation and HEMPFightgarr said:Adam, it strikes me that the arm that isn't visible seems a little awkward, mainly because of the inability to see it. Even just a hint of the elbow below the other arm would help. The shape of the thighs also seems a bit stiff but that just may be a stylistic choice. You have a pretty good grasp on the comic style though.
HEMP is a new one on me. I just rely on my 3 years of life drawing and my 5 years of art school for figure drawing...as pompous an arrogant as that sounds. Development of style is very important though, personal style is what determines a good drawer from a great artist.Adam Jenson said:Thanks for the feedback Fightgarr. Humanising, Emphazing and Minimizing in order to show Personality

It's also my first real stab at digital painting.
the first successful picture I ever made with my graphics tablet.http://fc71.deviantart.com/fs24/i/2007/320/5/c/GTFO_by_Teh_G_man.jpg
The character is me.
And on the side of everything else i do, like college and looking fancy I do a somewhat relaxingly updated comic based on Deviantart this is the latest page, i'm currently on the "Parodying anime will score me tons of pageviews" stage, it won't last...http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/019/3/8/PTG_007_by_Teh_G_man.jpg

I don't know if it's OK just to put the link in here. You see, even that I'm the concept artist
who create him, the rights of the artwork it's not mine, EA Westwood own him now, if anyone at Westwood think it's inappropriate for me to post the link here just tell me so I will remove the link.
And here's some work in progress.

Thanks, I use PhotoshopCS3 and Wacom Intuos3.Wacom might be more expensive but for anyone who into this concept art thing I recommend Wacom tablet, just any Wacom tablet will do, even Wacom Bamboo. You see, tablet other than Wacom tend to ruin so easy(some claim they get ruin in 3 months) But my old tablet(Wacom Graphire3) last for three years, and when I change pen tip it's still function perfectly.Fightgarr said:That's really awesome stuff. Not to mention they also own the patent for the batteryless pen technology and in general just provide a much better working experience and a large catalogue of useful features.pokkuti said:Thanks, I use PhotoshopCS3 and Wacom Intuos3.Wacom might be more expensive but for anyone who into this concept art thing I recommend Wacom tablet, just any Wacom tablet will do, even Wacom Bamboo. I'm using a Wacom Bamboo at the moment. It does the job for now. Though I'm only using photoshop elements so it might be good to invest in the actual program.pokkuti said:Thanks, I use PhotoshopCS3 and Wacom Intuos3.Wacom might be more expensive but for anyone who into this concept art thing I recommend Wacom tablet, just any Wacom tablet will do, even Wacom Bamboo.
