You are officially my new favorite person.TheNecroswanson said:So, this is some fan work I did.
A fan of whom you ask? Why Ken Wong, an artist.
He had an old website that I used to frequent nearly daily dedicated to his own American McGee's Alice.
I can't find the website, but here is the original [http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y158/selkhet/calling.jpg],

Rightfully so. I swear to God, so few people seem to know about Alice that it's borderline insulting. If you were planning on doing any more sketches based on it, for Christ's sake keep it up.TheNecroswanson said:Hurray! Next time you see her? O.OAdam Jenson said:your all gonna be sick of me by the end of the day I assure you.
You would not believe how difficult her rump was to get right. Might bring this up next time I see her
Not getting sick of your presence so far. This sketch gets better every time you post an update of it. I can't wait to see how you end up drawing her hair.Adam Jenson said:your all gonna be sick of me by the end of the day I assure you.

Thanks for the feedback Fightgarr. The arm is still missing but I'm hoping hat after her leg I can fix it up holding a sword. As for her thighs, I notice that happens to be something I regularly do with figure so yeah I guess you could call it style, speaking of which it really isn't that difficult. Just takes practice, observation and HEMPFightgarr said:Adam, it strikes me that the arm that isn't visible seems a little awkward, mainly because of the inability to see it. Even just a hint of the elbow below the other arm would help. The shape of the thighs also seems a bit stiff but that just may be a stylistic choice. You have a pretty good grasp on the comic style though.
HEMP is a new one on me. I just rely on my 3 years of life drawing and my 5 years of art school for figure drawing...as pompous an arrogant as that sounds. Development of style is very important though, personal style is what determines a good drawer from a great artist.Adam Jenson said:Thanks for the feedback Fightgarr. The character is me.
And on the side of everything else i do, like college and looking fancy I do a somewhat relaxingly updated comic based on Deviantart this is the latest page, i'm currently on the "Parodying anime will score me tons of pageviews" stage, it won't last...http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/019/3/8/PTG_007_by_Teh_G_man.jpg
