Subject Lynx, basically it's like a limit put on how many things you can activate it on a computer giving a limit on how many computers can have it installed. It's terrible and the specs of it mess up the game more as the OS often won't recognize the SecuRom and still use up an activation. Basically think EA with the required online registration to play the game, in fact that is exactly what EA is doing only it is under a different name and as such avoids anything they can get in trouble for.
Also, random fact time Subjects. Apparently the PS2 can run Linux...
