More like...I have taste.
Then it would seem your concept of taste would be outright toxic to most human beings.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE LADY, EMOTE!
As you can guess, I'm no ordinary human being. And Mass Effect barely has any emotion in their dialogue. Mass Effect put me to sleep a lot of times.
It's funny for 1 post. It's depressing after.

Best, and by Best, I mean Worst: Chaos Wars.

Best: Bayonetta's English voice actress. I thought she did an excellent job. I found it hard to imagine the game was originally in Japanese.

Worst: The Valsharess from Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. She was terrible - I could have done a better job at the part.

This is both the best and worst. Simply brilliant :p

But seriously, the best is Portal. Others that are good are Mark Hamill as the Joker in Batman Arkham Asylum, Uncharted and any Bioware game (simply because it's consistantly good with all the amount of dialog).

Best: Heavy Rain. (There are dozens of others, but I'm just picking one)
Worst: The CDi games. (No f***ing contest...)
Funniest: LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!
EDIT: XD Is that a Devil May Cry reference, I see?

OT: Almost any voice acting from any survival horror game ever, pretty much; although that does tend to cross over into awesome territory. Goodness, I love that Jill Sandwich line. I love it so much.

Half-Life 2, Bioshock, Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption, all those games have very good voice acting. (RDR is maybe a cut above the rest, now that I think about it.)

One game that hasn't been mentioned in the "worst" category is Metal Gear Solid 4. Most of the characters are fine, and some are quite good. But some, like EVA, speak in a monotone. For thirty minutes. Sometimes other characters don't sound right, but this is generally because they're navigating a particularly unusual line of dialogue.

Straight-up "worst" voice acting? Probably Just Cause 2 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted but in both cases they're so bad as to be hilarious.

Best: Final Fantasy X, strangely enough considering it was the first of the franchise to try it.
Worst: Mega Man X7, particularly the robot masters. Not only poorly delivered, but extremely repetitive even by action game standards, worst of both worlds.

In retrospect though, I'm sure there are quite a few worse than X7 I haven't tried, since my main system at the advent of VA was the N64, which preferred small clips (see: Zelda, Banjo-Kazooie) to large monologues. Never got to hear 'Jill Sandwich' until later.

The best voice acting in games I played are usually when only a few conversations are voiced such as Fallout 2, Arcanum and Planescape: Torment.

The worst voice acting had to be Zero Wing which I never played just seen videos of.

Best: Almost any Bioware game in existence. Note: Voice acting, facial expressions could use some work.

Worst: Other M, Most of the Resident Evil series, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Gears of War (As much as Cole Train is just plain awesome to listen to for me, he is a red light of cliche all the way)

Mass Effect's VAing had no emotional range? Captain Kirrahe would like to have a word with you. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXLVFnl3WcE] Shit, if you don't agree that's one of the awesomest speeches in gaming(right up there with Wallace Breen's breakdown in Half-Life 2 and Andrew Ryan's rant in BioShock), you're made of stone.
That still sends tingles down my spine.
Best:probably Mass Effect.
Worst:Ehhh I want to say Red Dead Redemtion just for Jacks voice but I can't. So no answer

Yes or no, does the FFX include the hideous laughing scene?

For me, probably one of the worst was Hydeyoshi Toyotomi from Samurai Warriors 2 Empires.

Best for me would be Red dead redemption, GTA 4: lost and the damned, Mass effect is fairly good. I actually didn't think that Fallout 3 had bad voice crew at all. And I'm kinda interested to see how Star wars the old republic's voice crew does in that game.

Worst: RE was funny to listen to the first time around was annoying the rest of the time. Stubbs the zombie had some bad voices in it as well.
