Eh...this is one of those cases when the strip is trying to say something, but I have no idea what it is. A take that at LoL...a take that at Christians...should I be offended?...I'm so confused. I guess this is one of those "are you laughing at me or with me," things.
There's no real reason to be offended. I'd consider myself a Christian and I thought this strip was hilarious. Taking offense to a webcomic on the Internet that can easily be ignored isn't exactly a worthwhile thing to do, in my opinion.

Then again, I've never played League of Legends, so maybe that dig by itself is worthy of taking offense.

I play LoL as well, and i found this quite funny, and quite true, as well. Haven`t seen a community like LoL has before, gotta admit it. Lots and lots and lots of angry people screaming and insulting each other. Quite a lot of hate indeed. That`s why i don´t really talk a lot in-game. Only the necessary stuff.

Not to be a stickler, but the m-m-m-multi stuff is a DotA thing, LoL uses a different announcer style on that.

Also, the type of Christian I am (when I do actually go) is fine with priests marrying and doesn't do the whole "you are going to hell thing".

I am somewhat tired of everyone generalizing Catholic and some certain other sects as being the same as just "christian", but that is a debate for somewhere other than on a web comic comments section on a video game forum.

Yep...gotta go with you there.
MOBA communities seem bring out the biggest jerks for some reason.

Heh, nice one. I've heard good things about LoL, but I've also heard the community is one of the worst around. That, and my general disdain of MMO's is mostly what's kept me from checking it out.

Side-note, who was her hallucination of?
A character from LoL, incidentally.
That'd be Leona, The Radient Dawn... ¬_¬

It's cute that she still thinks Priests are virgins.
In the traditional sense of "must have penetrated a vagina", perhaps.
christian =/= catholic

on the topic of the comic though

you don't like religion
haha haha.... it wasn't that funny
He did specify 'Organized Religion' in the description, which is what you're generally talking about when you refer to priests... Just because somebody doesn't like the way other people tell them to experience the spiritual aspects of their lives doesn't mean they dislike religion in general.

That said, great comic as usual, guys. As was already said by others before me, you have my sincere and deepest respect for keeping on schedule with release despite this being Christmas week.

Catholics are Christians.
/=/ means 'not'.

So, by your very post you were saying either 'Christians aren't Catholics' or 'Catholics aren't Christians'.

Way too get pissed over nothing, bro.

from what i can tell from i can tell the people who do this comic aren't really fans. which is fine, i have no issue with that my issue comes in where they try to fight being a dick, with being a dick.

you just end up looking like an atheist dick

i dont care if you dont like religon

nor do if you dont like atheism

no one cares, just make flipping jokes that aren't dick moves against each other shit isn't funny anymore

your disbelief in good is not comedy, it bores me
I ask that you consider the comic you are referring to. Aside from video game humor, this series has been carried by the consistency of Erin as a "dick" character. It is who she is, it's what she does. If you're annoyed by seeing "dick" humor in a comic about a "dick" character, then you might be reading the wrong comic. I do not wish to turn you away from Critical Miss by any means, though. Just maybe alter your expectations?

Well put, sir. I find that Erin really has it in for religion....and everyone and everything in a 20ft radius around her. She could pick a fight with a puppy. That's why I am here--for the douchebaggery. The jokes do not always register with me due to my unfamiliarity with some of the mainstream video game content. When this is the case, I simply hold my tongue and wait a week.

The art in this strip has become freakin' excellent. I am so glad you guys won the Web Comic contest.

The LoL community is childish, but that doesn't automatically mean they're foul. It does mean that often, mind you, but not automatically. It's more that they're reactionary and escalate anything seen as a challenge, or at least enough of them to be noticeable do this. Speaking calmly and kindly makes 80% of games turn out quite civil, with any lone shitflinger generally being hushed into irrelevance by the rest of the players. Pro-active courtesy goes a long way into setting the tone of the match, some kind words in the lobby make all the difference. I know some people will have wildly different experiences to my own, but myself and most of the people I know who also play have found that given the chance to be decent folk, most folk will.

And hey, if a jerkwad gets you down, just mosey on over to the tribunal page and drop lawful good justice on twenty chumps like him. Eventually, you'll get your guy.

you mean expect something funny from someone a thing that's on a website full of funny interesting people. i have expectations.

i know every comic cant be the boondocks ( oh lord i love all that came from the boondocks) but i am asking for them to try.

to go to a different medium, even south park is above "hur dur relgeon is stupeed" hell they made fun of that in the morman episode

art ( that's what this is ) , this kinda of art is commentary on whats reliant in the world to the artists, this comic alot of times feels like a half assed attempt at that.

constructive criticism, it happens with art
I do agree that constructive criticism is both a positive and necessary element of these sorts of things. If you believe these comics could be better, or you disagree with a certain way in which something in handled, I'm sure the creators appreciate your input. However, I would suggest you make that criticism your immediate priority when posting if you do have such intentions. Your original post simply pointed out that you were not amused. I may be misinterpreting your method of criticism here, but that does not seem to offer the creators much in terms of advice or actual critique. In fact, it would be fairly easy to misinterpret your comment as a petty complaint and nothing more. I mean no offense by this, I just believe you should offer more if you wish to make a difference.
