"You're welcome," Ripley replied thoughtfully.

"Sir we are going to do our damn best to find her, and you have my word on that," she told Mr. Lon. "Now, we need any information you can possibly give us about your daughter. Be it something small or something big, any information will benefit us.";

 

[Misaek]

"Well Jaroth, any leads as to which club this may be, I guess we will just wait for Ripley and Yossar to finish talking to the family and see what they get"

"Ink, not pen ink, wrong color and far too light, Stamp ink maybe? Teenage by Asari years if not child, club perhaps? Not sure if it is single club or multiple, but means something. Definitely dressed up for these events, possible lover or close friend. Hard to tell exact meaning, but if someone knows Illium clubs, they may point us in the right direction." Jaroth said as he focused more intently on the more obviously higher end clothes.

 

[Misaek]

"Alright lets wait for Ripley and Yossar to wrap it up down there and then we will see if we can pinpoint which clubs she has been to"

 

[Captainguy42]

Yossar moved to the room to check in on the others, he checked out the Data-pad over Dimir shoulder.

"That's weird, look how many times the phrase 'Blue Shift' comes up, that can't just be coincidence." Yossar straightened up and pressed the comlink on his throat, "Ripley see what Blue Shift means to the parents, not the phenomenon I think it's something else.

Ripley:

" Well, she's a very good girl, I can't imagine what kind of trouble she could get into. We did notice her going out more and more, she kept getting more annoyed at us, we just wanted to make sure she was safe. And then she went out, we told her not to, she had her final tomorrow and she needed to study, but she seemed nervous and snuck out anyways."

"Very well then. Will take small sample for analysis, nothing missing, just scan for compounds." Jaroth said as he scanned his omni-tool over the ink. The information was automatically stored.

"Copy as much encrypted data as you can, try to uncover more as we go along." he said as he moved to the other side of the room.

Ripley nodded at what Yossar said. Her attention went back to the parents. "I see. That could mean many things, simply could be teenage rebellion or...something else," Ripley said, taking a moment to think about what this could mean.

"Out of curiosity what does 'Blue Shift' mean to you guys?" Ripley asked, "My commander found a few notes about it."

 

[Captainguy42]

Ripley :

The parents began to shift uncomfortably and looked at each other with concern. Finally the mother broke the silence.

" It's a club that opened a few months back, they say they only let Asari in, you don't think Heira could have been going there do you?" She asked Ripley.

 

[tsatoma]

"Well ma'am, teenagers often like to seek out new things. A new club might be something new and interesting for her to look into," Ripley replied, taking a moment to tell Yossar that Blue Shift was a new club.

"This can be good news. We're now closer to finding your daughter. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to tell me about your daughter. I know it must be exceptionally hard to not know she's safe, but we'll get to the bottom of this and get your daughter back," Ripley said with a calm assertiveness that relaxed the parents a bit.

" Alright let's head back to base to see if that club checks out."

Yossar quickly rounded everyone up and got back into the transports after a few words of assurance to the parents. Back at the base Yossar ran the name Blue Shift and pulled up as much information on it as he could. Then went back to meet the others.

Aye, same here, were at a good stopping point for tonight, christ, 8 pages in a few hours, this has got to be the fastest moving RP I've been in.

"So, what's the news on the club Yossar?" Ripley asked, eager to continue on with the investigation.

 

[Captainguy42]

" Yep, it's a new night club, opened up almost six months ago. Just like the mom said it's Asari exclusive, on the site they advertise activities like: dancing, singing, Llive bands, drinks, and "recreation substances". The troubles going to be getting in."

"Sounds good until you get to that last one," Ripley replied, sitting back and taking a moment to think, "Most drugs are legal on Illium though right? So they can advertise disgusting stuff like that. How are we going to get into the club Yossar? Asari only, and I doubt any of us can pull it off...though I think Grexec could if pushed."

 

[Captainguy42]

Yossar leaned back in his chair and looked up. " Well I see two options:

[color= Blue] We could try and talk to the bouncers and convince them to let us in in the interest of the law. [/color]

[color= Maroon] Or, the place is a club, not a fortress, and the evidence we want will probably be recorded, so it's not like we have to ask. [/color]"

"I approve of the first one, though the second one is tempting I will admit," Ripley replied, after a moment's thought. "Will this be a democratic vote or will you be the one deciding Yossar?" Ripley asked, looking over at him.
