Sindri was sitting on his bed, after a meditation session. He scratched his neck and felt the interface of his asari implant, and suddenly he felt very lonely. He had heard the others before, coming back from the mission with the lost asari, they looked like they had been in a firefight. Since no one on their side was missing, however, it din't bother him much.
As he was sitting in the darkness he found himself thinking back to his time in teaching, and before that -the few memories he had of earth. It was nothing pleasant, he was glad he didn't remember much. From what he had learned there was going to be a face-off with the Eclipse the next day, and he knew he would go, no matter what Yossar said. It was time he proved himself a worthy member of this group, and make the others stop seeing him as 'the child who didn't belong'.
Sindri suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and got up. In a rare mood of friendliness he went out into the common-room to see if someone was still up.
