The thing that really interests me is the dragon diving into the ice, why is it doing that?
Presumably because dragons can swim, and you can't see it when it's underwater. What better way to channel its inner gator by breaking the ice under your feet and catching you by surprise?

Companions for life! Long live the Circle!
Wondering if there will be werewolves in the dawngaurd trying to extinguish their enemy :D

OT: -_- FFFFFFFFF thanks for being assholes bethesda. charging a full $20 because they know everyone will pay it. This also means that ALL of their other DLC will be the same price(looking at fallout) aka since they will surely do more than three of these(probably 5) we will be paying for more than another game just for the DLC.

OOT:Sadly i know im still gonna get them all :(

Looks great. I may be behind the times but I thought this DLC was going to be about the return of the Snow Elves or something.
Return of the snow elves from where? From what I understand, <spoiler=minor lore spoiler>the snow elves are what is now the falmor that live underground

I will still hold out hope that you can join the exsangui-nation and help them end that tyrannical sun. Would make thieving and murder that much easier.
but wouldn't we all freeze to death D:

Does anyone else think were going to High Rock for this? The castle looked a bit French and I think the Bretons were based on the French (more specifically brittany). Also there is a lot of snow and ice in so they should be in one of the northern provinces. Can't be Skyrim or Morrowind so the only place left is high rock. Also there were falmer there. you can only find falmer in dwemer ruins which only exist in high rock, Skyrim Hammerfel and Morrowind.
Hmm, you have a point there, but I think they'll just visit some unexplored northern island for this since High Rock's only path to Skyrim is along a narrow mountain pass which is at the north-west tip that most people never see, that and, well, last I checked High rock is pretty big, as in too-large-for-1600-MS-points big.

P.S. I thought Nords were Vikings, Imperials were romans, Redguards were Arabian and Bretons represented everything from Western Europe?

If you look on the Wiki, Bretons are based off French, Celtic, and Gaelic cultures. The forsworn are the Breton's tie to Celtic and Gaelic.

so being a vampire might actually be a valid option now(it was always a choice but only a fool choose to be a weak vampire instead of a werewolf)

Can't wait. I just wish Bethesda would drop this whole exclusivity for MS thing. I don't know how the Microsoft agreement helps them, but I know waiting to release it to everyone doesn't help them at all, and it may in fact hurt them.
I'm still stumped as to how "Microsoft exclusivity" is translated to "XBox exclusivity". I mean, Microsoft software runs (most) computers, doesn't it? Surely PC gamers should be able to get it same time too? Anyway, I try not to think too much about illogical things. I'm a patient guy.
They don't get a cut if someone buys PC games. They do if they buy 360 games.

Meh. More mediocrity like the rest of the game. They used teh stuff from game jam when it came to vampires and thought "Hey, We can make a DLC out of this, Even though we already said we were going to go for Expansion packs more then DLC"
but this....is an expansion pack

like, an entire subplot with two new factions that are actually large enough to care about, expanded vampire abilities, and additional gear and stuff

it might not be as large as bloodmoon but it follows in the tradition of dropping a large section of "oh wait i never noticed this being here before" into the game

plus it probably won't drop you into a one sided multiple werewolf attack lol

It doesn't need to be all of high rock, maybe just the eastern part. Also the only northern island big enough is solstheim I think. Any further north and you get to Atmora which is too frozen, it being unfrozen would be mentioned as a main part of the dlc's storyline. A narrow mountain pass is better than nothing.

Well, kind of. The Snow Elves 'devolved' into the Falmer after they lost their war with the Nords and retreated underground, whereupon they were betrayed and enslaved by the Dwemer. Before then they were (apparently) intellegent and articulate just like other elves, rather than the practically rebid Falmer you meet in the game who only ever want to slit you up. Thing is, they are only ever referred to in the game as Falmer, but when this DLC was first revealed there was something about a 'Snow Elf King' or something (I don't remember the details too well) which suggested that maybe you would get the chance to meet an actual, un-devolved Snow Elf, rather than just another Falmer.

Unfortunately the disease that causes either Vampirism or Lycantrophy add disease immunity on top of the perks associated with those transformations.

So, minus mods, glitches or console commands, I'd say it won't be any different then it is now.

But where are the werebears? :(

OT: Looks awesome, Dawnguard are going to need something pretty awesome to match floating-bat-like-creature-of-doom and make it worth siding with them
