A roar echoes through the street followed by thunderous tremors of the earth. A section of the Afrena tower comes tumbling down from it's perch and destroys houses below. The dying screams emanate from within but you know they are doomed.
In place of the tower now stands a Brute and a Commander, they turn to begin moving to the throne room. There's virtually nothing you can do to stop them in time.
Will you try to make it to the room in time, flee or keep fighting for your life ?
"Theres no way we can defeat those things!" Shouted Karsk,"especially not with these weapons"
Karsk started backpedalling away from the monsters, and carried on "It's better to retreat and live to fight another day, theres no honour in dying in a foolish fight against an insurmountable enemy"
" i hear that" said Xeo "lets get the hell out of-" suddenly from nowhere a striker came and cut his throat, his vision wobbled, he staggered and fell to his knees, and in his last few moments he thought of all his squad.
"de'kren, i, i'm sorry, i tried" he whispered, than slowly fell to death's cold grip
not dropping out as such, and the poetic remark was meant to be sarcastic lol =p, i have been speaking to toaster for a few days about it and i am gonna stay as a gm on the game, helping design events for the group

As Karsk ran towards Xeo, shouting at the striker, firing his weak pistols at it, the thing charged him. Karsk pulled out his sword and stabbed it in the abdomen, and it fell to the ground, still alive.
Karsk bent down to cut of it's head, but he heard noises all around him. "SHIT" he shouted, "it was a fucking trap". He was surrounded, and he couldn't do much with such a short blade and weak pistols. He ran towards one and stabbed it in the eye, then fired a bullet in its grotesque face.
Then quick as a shot he turned towards the next, but it was too late. there was atleast five within reach already.
They swarmed him, but he wasn't going down without a fight. he swung round, balde outstretched, and sliced several of them, hearing there shrieks of pain. Then he started blind firing as the first one hit him, and then another jumped on his back.
Karsk was thrown to the floor and they clawed at him. he carried on firing till he could no longer hold his gun, and he breathed his last breath.
Stop this! yells the commander that was with the strikers, they begin to recoil away from the two bodies, apparently fearful of her voice, I'll give you one chance to leave, this cities ours now! Leave before you join your friends in the afterlife! she calls to the remaining Afrena. Several of the Dreshi that were standing around her come forward with packages in their hands. These are the weapons from the cave that collapsed, take them for the next time we meet you will need better weapons, she sneers, well at least they are the swords and such, the guns, she smirked, we destroyed them.
A cowled man stands approaches behind the Afrena, holding his sheath between his hands, "why did you need to die?" he mutters under his breath as he stands over the two bodies, "will your courtesy extend to me as well?" he shouts to the commander.
That depends, she growls back, why should we let you?
"Because. Tyler, you should have been dead!" he screams, "I thought I saw you die years ago!" The commander is taken aback that someone knew her, who are you?! she screeches back.
"I am," he begins to unwrap the cowl, "a son to a murdered father," he removes the top bit of the cowl revealing his hair, "a friend to a dead warriors," he pulls the bottom of it revealing his face, "and a lover that was crushed by your 'death'" screams De'kren. Tyler's face changes to a surprised look, then slowly changes to look smug grin, in that case, you'd better leave before I change my mind, for this time, I'm not the weak one De'kren...you are she breathes as the last Dreshi hands him the white blade of his father.
I feel shocked at De'kren's sudden reappearance, especially under these circumstances. I look back between the women he calls Tyler and him, "what is this?" I ask but get waved off by the others. 'We should leave then people, before more blood is shed...' says De'kren as he looks defeated and begins to look around his old squad.
Goodbye Razer and Dr. from the roster I reckon this might end up dying soon, just since people are beginning to drop out and that :/ I'll do my best to keep it going...
Everyone else seemed to grasp the significance of the cowled man, and what he was shouting, but Olek felt lost, as if some revelation had come to the others, but not to him. He decided to stay quiet, an question the others later, at a quieter time
