Airship Rising Dawn: Storage Area: Slindis, Dimitri, Rugal, Teri, Garm, Sadei

"Christ above...You still don't get it do you?..." Rugal spat as he began his offensive, sure, his night vision wasn't on the level that Slindis's was, but he could manage long enough to take her down.
Instantly starting a rush down style of attack, he aggressively pressed forward with lighting fast boxing blows, Mixing up Jabs with equally fast hooks and straights.
"Believe me, I'm just as much the mass murderer you know and love as he was. Hell, Who do you think was the one that got us that title?" He taunted between strikes, aiming to wear her down mentally as well as psychically.

It didn't seem like he noticed Teri and Garm. Yet.

Shadow Operatives Building: Party Room: Jenny, Cadolbolg, Devon, Ella, Garm, Teri

Jenny was extremely drunk, as if I needed to point that out, so when Ella did finally get her to one the Shadow Ops call rooms, she made an attempt to speak with questionable success.
"hey thanks. i know i scan abe a wxeak littel whineoy bietch sometimes, blut you know i love yha." She slurred happily, while she'd be regretting it in the morning, it was clear she was enjoying her inebriation.
"Heheheh, dojn't tell him i said this, cbut she edoes look kipnda cute in hibs new form. Devon i mean." She confessed, she seemed rather talkative in this state.
Hell, if she pushed she might even reveal some confidential material the others told her!
Sure, it was illegal for a Doctor to just casually give away that information, but she wasn't a real doctor now was she?

Shadow Ops Building: David West, Fuuka, Yu, Mitsuru

Mitsuru nodded and looked over a report she had in her hand, [color=955555]"That is true. Our Operatives at the resturant have noticed that there are signs of infected already in the restaurant. We're currently attempting to find the Owner: Nise Mono; a middle aged woman."[/color]

Mitsuru produced a photograph of a middle aged woman with a bun, and a pair of shades. A bit eccletic, considering she was wearing a uniform for the restaurant, but what can you do?

[color=955555]"We're suspecting that the Operatives might be scaring her off, so we're thinking your group may need to investigate. I'd suggest that for tomorrow though. From what Fuuka's told me, your group has had more than enough to deal with in one night. You need to rest, and recuperate..."[/color]

Fuuka gave a small bob of her head, [color=5F8B7F]"That is true... Also, the person your comrade, Deadshot-"[/color]

[color=95555]"Both persons. Deadshot investigated the cadavar, and with Akane, brought in the living subject as well."[/color]

[color=5F8B7F]"Right, Akira... Er, right, Akira Fuyutsuki is the living subject Deadshot and Akane brought in. When he was sedated, we did a full search of his body for traces of the virus. We also found that he had some of the virus recently ingested, as well as some medicine of an unknown source... We're not sure if both are connected or not, but we found a matchbook for Club Escapade in his pocket. That, along with Rugal's 'methods' of investigation, have lead us to believe that section of town isn't quite swept through yet either."[/color]

[color=955555]"This is all true. At the very least, we have some narrowed down leads to take on. Your thoughts, Mr. Narukami, Mr. West?"[/color]

Airship Rising Dawn: Storage Area: Slindis, Dimitri, Rugal, Teri, Garm, Sadei, Annie

Now was the time for Slindis to have her A game on, and she acted accordingly as she worked around the flurry of attacks being thrown her way. The Kick from Annie nearly caught her, but she knew that her main goal was moving Rugal to that side room. [color=c200]"You can come back to me when you find a perfect person. You'll find me far harder to defeat than even those Angels from before for one reason.

They were born into their skill. I fought for every tidbit I know tooth and nail. And although you're strong, guess what? You're still a person. Not a Devil, not a Demon, nor someone that twists the fabric of space, time, and fate to their whims. And unlike yourself, I've faced down greater threats while only having my skill."[/color]

Rugal or any other highly trained combatant could see well enough to know that Slindis' defenses weren't trained in some school. They were more the self-taught defenses that were made to survive, outlast, and overcome even the dirtiest techniques.

Shadow Operatives Building: Party Room: Jenny, Cadolbolg, Devon, Ella, Garm, Teri

Ella guided Jenny down onto the futon and got some water for the Gardevoir to have after she woke up. "You'd be telling Devon something I already know, Jenny. Just get some sleep here before you do anything too crazy. Well, it's not that big of a deal to me, but Blade might not like it too much. And remember to sleep to the side; I don't know how you get when you're like this, but I don't want you drowning or anything." Although Ella could be harsh, it was clear that she did care for those on the ship. ANd why wouldn't she? With how her parents had acted, the people on the Rising Dawn was her family (Well, them and Kurumu, but she hadn't seen her half-sister in ages.)
"Also, I do get what you were saying about pushing Devon too far. Still, half of all the people on earth are women, so I'm sure she can manage. Heck, she's already adapted so much." Ella almost thought about bringing in something about the Pokemon, but she wasn't quite sure if it was the same.

[color=00c863]"It has to cook first, Cadol... And if they go to sleep, that means there's more for us here. :)"[/color] It was no surprise that the two had tastes of the cake batter while they were making the cake, and it really seemed like that Devon was becoming comfortable with her form (or at least a lot more compared to how she'd been.)

Shadow Ops Building: Canteen: Melethia, Ton Ton

It seemed that Ton-Ton's talk was starting to sink in a little bit , as Mel was a bit more hesitant when responding the next time. "It was how we were all raised... as long as you weren't Dead Weight, you never had to worry... then again, so many became Dead Weight... At least the Pirates that I met up with when I met up with Miss Slindis gave me the chance to explore after covering them so much. Man, that sea was awesome!" And the sad thing was that pirates probably were safer than Mel's old family. At least with them she didn't worry about teammates being raised as undead.

"Then surely you can understand why I had to take contro-Oooof!" Rugal was about to state before Annie managed to get the drop on him, using the darkness for cover.
He was dazed a little by the sneak attack, but was quickly able to get back on the offensive, realizing there were 2 targets now, as well as who the second one was.
"Well, Well, Well, Look who's here? This just gets better and better..." He taunted as he tried to get a read on where the 2 attackers were.
"So What?...You think even if you win here, that will automatically give you some Disney-Happy Ending Bullshit? Everything you know of Rugal *I* made! This body, this mind, this spirit, I took a child eating from trashcans and turned him into a KING!" He shouted as he failed to get a solid target, Annie's interference throwing off his target.

"Alright then, Go on, Hide in the Shadows while you still can..." He threatened the duo, despite not being able to see them before he began making his way towards where the Jerry Cans full of fuel were stored, remembering the path he took from memory.
One of those, along with that Handgun he swiped back at the shrine would easily allow him to level the playing field.
Hell, if he lit up enough of the, he could level that part of the ship!

Airship Rising Dawn: Storage Area: Slindis, Dimitri, Rugal, Teri, Garm, Sadei, Annie

Dimitri, unlike most of the persons there, had a good camera with some night vision to act as a visual apparatus, and called out over the intercom, [color=3897E0]
Code:
"Watch out for that gun in his hands! There's oil cans in here!"
[/color]

Gun? Oil? Garm knew immediately that those were two things that never went well together, especially considering his recent adventures in modern settings, and signaled his Pup, [color=356D60]"Tear-ri, get ready for a jump. Position yourself as we learned and I'll make my move. Don't be afraid to grab my fur either, it'll stay in."[/color]

Grabbing a bit of Garm's fur as firmly as she was able and a moment to re-position the way she sat on her faithful wolf, Teri signaled over the rings her readiness, the wolf did not hesitate at his position any longer. With a spring, wolf and rider lept from the crates and the wolf brought down his (and Teri's) full bulk[footnote]According to the SRD, 450 pounds/204.117 kilograms, plus Teri's weight, which is around 180 pounds/81.6466 kilograms I guess[/footnote] down on the King of Fighters in a hope to pin him. Of course, this also meant that Rugal now had this [http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nxAoaNPcwWE/Tk2a_OYUjdI/AAAAAAAAA4U/Vm6IM2EjhC8/s400/Black-Wolf-2.jpg] in his face, as well as Slindis and Annie to contend with. But that also meant a Cleric wasn't too far behind either...

Shadow Ops Building: Canteen: Melethia, Ton Ton

[color=15650D]"Pirates? You were with Pirates? And they treated you better? Melethia, isn't that more than enough indication that the old military unit you were in was really messed up?"[/color]

Ton Ton's expression softened when he saw how reluctant Melethia was becoming, and tried to start taking the gentler approach, taking one of Melethia's hands in a comforting gesture, [color=15650D]"Back on topic, Melethia. What happened to you with that group, who I cannot call a family, was wrong. You should never have to think about yourself as having to worry about being 'Dead Weight', because you never have been. You never will be, either, because the people here don't think like those monsters who taught you that mindset. You don't have to think like that anymore. All any of us would want, is for you to be Melethia, be happy and find something you enjoy; not act as the soldier you were trained to be. Do you understand?"[/color]

[color=b05fe9]"Look, we've got more important things right now. Focus on them!"[/color] Sadei would have said more, but they had to focus.

[color=c200]"I'm done with your bragging, shade."[/color] With that, she yanked Rugal's leg out from underneath Garm and threw him a good ways closer to the door.

Slindis' communication to Annie was curt and brief. [color=c200]"Get him in the side room, Annie, I'm getting that Shadow in a position to be forced out. And if it can't be forced out, then it won't be getting out of its own free will. Simple as that."[/color]

"I'd like to, but I do need to keep up the training here... have you seen half of the things we deal with here? Khyber, I came here with countless people being killed because some smug angelic asshole wanted to kill them all." The way she spoke, though, it was almost as if she expected the Angels to try and attack again.

The Hunter had been trying to avoid eavesdropping on the conversation that the Elf and the Miniature Lizard Man were having, content to find the answers to his dilema at the bottom of a bottle of something called Scotch but Som's ears perked at the mention of a powerful being slaughtering many just because he felt like it. And while it would have normally been his policy to disregard the problems as others and see them as their problems, the talk of mindless killing for struck the Hunter's nerve.

Standing up unsteadily, the Brown Haired Hunter trudged over to the table where Melethia and Ton Ton sat, slamming his bottle on the surface of the table, its contents sloshing about inside the bottle and some, splashing on the table top.

"It that not always the case? The powerful beating on the powerless, killing them like they do not have the right to live just because they can. Back in my realm, we has the Firians and their damned Revered Mother. They said they were fulfilling some sort of prophecy when they attacked our kingdoms and killed millions. Sure - *HIC* - we fought back - but - but - butbutbut - but how could we stand up against a bunch of flying monsters with skin tougher than our finest steel and the power to level a fortress." The Hunter said, sitting down hard on a chair which strained under the weight of the Hunter, his equipment and his armor.

"Then you have those damn Omians who were just content to walk the Firians kill us. *HIC* You - you know what our Emperor used to say? Evil wins when good men do nothing. Well - well - Evil won and now you know what I have to do? I have to h-hunt down these supposed creatures of the night - just - justjust because they were born different." The Hunter continued. It appeared that whatever this scotch was, it had a knack for bringing out the Hunter's true feelings.

"Your men didn't try gassing out the creatures, running a scorched earth campaign to starve them out, or poisoning their supplies to cull their numbers? In campaigns of extermination, you have to use everything at your disposal to ensure your survival, since your foe will be doing the same to ensure you the end of your line and everything you care for." Melethia's statements seemed almost robotic - apparently this phrase had been drilled into her when she was young, which was another shining example of the parenting she'd been raised by. Her less than kind words didn't stop there, however.

"You don't like it? Then to hell with them! Worry less about those rookies and more on what you want to do. They have a problem, make yourself strong enough to show them who they're trying to order around. Heck, I could only call this leader of yours Dead Weight for how useful he's been and treat the fool the same way. Words only mean something if you can back them, and he couldn't do a single thing." The young elf had held back no words in her scathing criticism of the man's former leadership. Hadn't the child been talking just a bit earlier about Dead Weight in some training of hers? If Som were more sober, it might be chilling to see how a youth spoke in harsher terms than some soldiers.

The Hunter seemed to consider the words that the Young Elf spat out venomously: seemed. Rather her words had triggered a memory, one that caused the Hunter's body to go rigid as he relived each moment of it.

"When I was Five, they took myself and my squad ou-ou-out to Washout Trail. Out instructor made us w-watch as a group of trainees, older ones, ones whos class was standing was last. They kne-knew what was coming and I could s-see that. B-B-But I could look at the whole class. I could only look at one of the girls who was at the front o-of the group. My sister. It was at that point that The Hunter took another drink from the bottle, "A-After it was ov-over, we-we were made to go back in-into camp and l-leave the bodies. Th-they said that *HIC* if we-were not strong, we would be the n-next group to t-take the w-walk.

Sitting there, the Hunter appeared to become more fragile, more human as he remembered the night that followed.

"A-A group of us. We knew th-that there were others that would g-get us killed. So - so we slit their throats while they slept and w-we dumped th-them on the Washout Trail. The next morning. Our instructors did not say a thing."

Inhaling deeply, Som fixed a cold stare at the Elf.

"So do not talk to me about Dead Weight. I know what to do with them. Sometimes you are out matched and out numbered. Emperor Sodenheim and his men fought to the very end. They were not Dead Weight."

The young elf was unshaken as she defiantly responded to Som. "You think I never had to worry about being outmatched and outnumbered? It's hard to remember a time when that wasn't true for me. And even then, we made sure that every ounce of our blood was repaid with a gallon of theirs. Well, that's not really counting the dragons, but you know exactly what I'm saying. The fact you're still alive shows you had the grit to make it through.

... still, you're telling me they got rid of the bodies? I thought they were using everything they had, Hunter. It's hard to forget one of the greatest uses available for Dead Weight."
Now, this wouldn't come as a shock to Ton-Ton, but Melethia was all but saying that her old family brought back the Dead Weight from the dead for training or worse.

And only the small Tonberry seemed to be shocked by this? Had nobody on the ship paid attention to the signs?

This would have marked the first time a non-human had given the Hunter a compliment regarding his training and his devotion to the cause that had raised him from childhood. This would have marked the first time that the Hunter had been open and honest about the conditions in which he had been raised from the moment he was born until the moment that he graduated from his training. Truth be told, it would have been a rather decent thing for the Hunter to respond to Melethia in kind, to show some sort of connection that the two shared from being raised to know nothing other than killing their enemies.

However, the only response that the Elf received was a deep snoring from where Som was seated and the sound of a bottle rolling around on the ground which was followed by a loud THUD! as the Hunter and chair toppled backwards and hit the floor.

"Wh-AHEM!-WHAT?" Som asked, suddenly awake and seated on the floor, looking around to ensure that this embarrassing event was caused by him and only him. Any other's involvement would have lead to a sound thrashing.

"A-Apologies. I must have dozed off. Did I miss anything important?"

Rising Dawn: Constance Sorrowfeld's Room : Dreamscape Constance Sorrowfeld, Jake

The Young Vampire "awoke" and find herself in the strange and unfamiliar place, though beautiful, the sudden transition from the steel and plastic room to the lush green foliage left her slightly distressed. As she looked around for a sign of something familiar, she spotted the Author that had just recently passed away.

"J-Jake? What - H-How? Where are we?" The Vampire asked as she looked at herself. Her clothing was clear of the grime and mud that had accumulated during her passage through the Shadow Realm and was free of the blood stains that could not be washed off, no matter how hard Constance tried. They were mended as if they had never been torn. Even the Vampire's hair with its shock of midnight blue was clear and lustrous in the sunshine.

As the Sorrowfeld Princess awaited an answer from the Writer, she looked about her at the scenery. A small brook chattered noisily near by, speaking of the snow caps from which it was been born while in its depths, small fish waited for the Spring thaw that would allow them to travel further down stream to the ocean where they would grow into adulthood. The Trees that surrounded the pair kept their distance but shielded them from the chill coming from the mountains.

"But - you died. Like everyone else does." Constance added as she sat up, unaware that this was but a dream.

Jake set his teacup down and looked over to the young vampire. "Indeed you are correct. I am dead, passed on as a spirit. Welcome to your nightmare little one. I did not like the setting when I happened upon it on my travels, so I intruded and changed it. For this, I am sorry."

As he explained in a soft voice he poured a fresh cup of tea for both himself and the setting opposite at the table.

He motioned to the seat opposite him. "If you drink tea there is a cup for you here. I can of course summon anything else you would like, being an Author. To answer your question of how, my belief let me pass on and continue my journey, and my powers remained. Now then, we have several more hours of dream time left before you will awake. I am happy to chat whilst your body rests, or you may return to sleep, it is your choice. Think of this an apology for me going and dying before I could make it up to you for being rude in the Shadow Zone."

Rising Dawn - Akane's Room: Akane, Melethia

(before everyone split off do to their thing)

Angelus gave Akane another sympathetic pat on the back after being tackle-hugged, and let the Kitsune go to be consoled by the others, adding on, "But of course, Akane. Do let us know when the ceremony begins."

Caim gave a similar nod to the Kitsune, the look on his face being enough to know he meant the same as Angelus did.

Akane nodded to the two, who were the only others on the Airship Jake was really close with. Akane decided she would let Angelus help with the funeral when it was time. Jake would have been honoured and probably embarrassed, but he was dead so he got no choice in the matter.

As Melethia entered Akane's room she found the Kitsune sipping from a tumbler. Spotting the young girl entering, Akane downed the last of the scotch in one fiery gulp before rising herself. "Thank you Melethia. We'll do this in the medbay, there is a morgue there that can store his body until we are out of this infernal realm and we can use our powers at will again. Did he say anything before he died? Do you know? Was he held as he died?" She questioned as they left the room.

So the two quickly moved to the medbay. Melethia pulled Jake's body out from her bag of holding and Akane helped her place him on the operating table in the room. Akane teared up looking at the immense hole that had killed him, but steeled herself. She had cried enough. She set to work removing his equipment first, first his swordbelt, then the combat webbing, then his pistol holsters on his thighs. His hat somehow made the journey with his body, and that too she took off and placed aside, along with his glasses. With trembling fingers she found a pair of scissors and began gently cutting away his ruined fatigues, revealing the cold white skin beneath. The final thing was the small silver chain around his neck.

This Akane took off and held in her palm. A small Celtic style brooch and a bass guitar were all that adorned the necklace. She could not fathom their meaning to the dead man, but they would serve as her reminder of who she was. Reverently she put the necklace on, feeling the tiny weight of the silver between her breasts, resting alongside the small golden chain and locket of her own. Two burdens to carry, two burdens to regret.

A single tear ran down her cheek.

As she turned away from the body on the cold steel table, several arms descended from the ceiling apparatus, an automated surgeon controlled by the AI onboard.

Akane nodded silently.

A rolling gurney detached from the floor some way aways and made it's way over, where Jake's body was gently lifted across. The gurney moved to the morgue section and a locker opened, where the bed part of the gurney slid sideways into the waiting drawer. A hydraulic hiss and the drawer closed, the small screen on it flashing to life.

Akane gathered up his things and left, not looking back at where her author now resided. She needed to head out into the city to find a shop that made kimono's. Just as he had created her, she would bury him as her culture decided. But before all that she needed to sleep. She made it back to her room, placing Jake's gear on the table before disrobing and getting into bed, falling into a thankfully dreamless sleep.

. (& Deadshot)
Location: Workshop | Hanger | Rising Dawn | Personaverse.
The hanger was busy as usual, people came by and went in a blink of an eyes. the couple usually kept to themselves, the stinging memories of the Angel Wars nagging at them that these people can turn on them in a blink of an eyes, yet they trusted them, yet they dont'. It might have been because of Tomoya of their Author, someone who expected better from heroes whom instead wanted a harsher punishment for someone who had saved the everything for the longest time. Of course, this was Tomoya, the former Archangel of Lightning who was banished after being corrupted by a Shadow Demon.

Many of the Author Shaun's characters had thought about why this happened and who did this. The Shadow being a demon made the instant link towards Hell and those who rule over it. Yet this rage and anger was useless since they lacked the power or technology to take the fight to them. If the Heavens have been fighting them for all of eternity, what difference would they make, they could not even compete to the power of the Archangels.

Yet being in this crew gave them hope, not that only they can keep this world safe just like Tomoya before them, but they also have the smallest chance to give redemption to Tomoya and Shaun. Storm was practically disgusted with these so called 'heroes' after he came on-board, people who condemned one of their own for something who had no choice, Storm still has anger and distrust towards them even today. To some members, they will gaining better light then others.

All these feelings were actually not dominate in the mind of Storm though, his mind now was more focused on building armour and his love for his partner, he wanted to protect her no matter what vise versa. The black oil could easily be seen on the overalls that covered the lower part of his body, while sweat covered the upper-half, Storm had taken half of it off. The heat from the workshop was getting to him. Looking down, he wiped off the sweat from his brow, picked up the hammer and started pounding away again.

This would be the second suit of armour he was making for himself, a backup so if his first one would get wrecked again he would have another one awaiting it's master. With one last satisfying clang, he held up the chest-piece and gave a smile in the shiny reflection of the metal. Placing it with all the other parts sitting on the bench, he would go over the pile with a metallic black paint. This would make it his perfect night armour.

Looking outside of the workshop he could see multiple piles of crates, boxes next to a power loader. In the corner of the hanger he could see the small garage that belonged to Tomoya back the, except Storm converted that to be the place to store his equipment. Then in the opening he could see her, his beloved partner ... and Deadshot, "Why the hell is he here?" Storm gave a huff as he began to leave the workshop to go over to the two next to a weird car which Rugal drove in here a while ago.

The truth was ... out of anyone, in any world, he only wanted to protect and care about one person.

---

The world of an AI was that entirely different to anything else. They could see the insides of machinery, this was like another world, a alternative version of the world around them except in a smaller space which looked different and only known to them. Apart from being with other AI, it was lonely. For Alpha, it was different for her, she was a abandoned AI that had travelled to another universe, where she was picked up by the military, poked and prodded until she proved useful for military status. Controlling weaponry and military machinery was her purpose. Yet she was lonely, she was secluded from other AI in the UNSC since she was technically 'alien'.

Yet one person had treated her differently, this was a person who was also 'poked and prodded' in many ways to become a weapon of the military. The AI was paired with the Spartan for military use, sure they didn't get along at first, but they excelled in the field. Due to this they began to talk to each other in their private time rather then ignore or power-down to escape one another.

They began to know that they had much in common, soon a natural partnership was born. Before Alpha had met him, she was depressed and on the brink of insanity. Naturally, both in the time of war and in the time without war, they kept talking to one another, they kept training with each other, of course they eventually overcame the restrictions of being a altered human-being and a altered vocaloid AI. Unsurprisingly their romance blossomed, Alpha gained a human-like body due to this weird and wonderful world and she would thank this world a infinite amount of times for allowing her to spend time with her beloved.

That was one reason she loved this world, giving her the power to not only be in two worlds, and there were many more. Yet fear clouded her mind sometimes, not only because her lover could be taken away due to the danger these positions carry, but what would happen if she lost this body at one point, then she would never be able to truly be with him, only in that form of a holographic AI that he would carry everywhere.

Shaking her head, Alpha looked up from the ground. She was out in the hanger directing a power-loader to take in supplies they have acquired for the ship. Plus she could see him from here too, working hard on his armour. Alpha wore overalls too, except she was much more cleaner. Then Rugal and Slindis came in talking about training, but the worst thing of all is how Rugal admitted how he wanted to have sexual intercourse with another woman. "
Code:
[i][color=nvayblue]I thought they were together?[/color][/i]
" She quietly said to herself as she continued to work but observed the conversation before they moved out.

After a few more minutes of work, Deadshot came by, someone Alpha knew from the ship's camera footage, but someone she has never talked to. The assassin came in and began to check out the car and wondered who it belonged to. "
Code:
[color=nvayblue]I wouldn't touch that if I were you ... it belongs to Rugal![/color]
" She yelled with her half machine like voice, not risking to move over to him due to his ... record.

She thanked this world for what it had done to her ... yet fear that harm may come to the only one who had ever cared about her. Sure, Storm may have that armour weapons and altered body, but Alpha knew that she could easily protect him in her own way.

The wind was blowing ferociously again on the rooftop, the Doctor dangled his legs off the side. Many things have happened recently. His darker side had gained for control and the whole persona thing with Jake's death and such. Why was he here? To protect this world? But he had his own world to protect, a world much more unstable then this one. Soon he had began to regret to come to this world.

It was all due to his Author, someone who is insanely similar to him. "Why ... I don't care for this place, I don't care about anyone in this world ... so why am I here? Just to collect information about this world and it's technology!?" He cried out, going back to silence he began to bite his lip. If he was going to take anything back with him, it would be a piece of technology that could bring peace to the Wasteland world.

That is why, behind the Doctor laid a robotic leg, he was going to try rebuild Liberty Prime ... yet the image of his own Persona kept coming back to him, he knew he could not build such a thing. "If I had that ... maybe, just maybe I could gain the inspiration to protect this world too." He said to himself once more, thinking up of something crazy like that will make him connected to this world.

Yu was focusing on the talk the group was going on about, yet a thought or two went towards his prior experience in the AA world and with Tomoya, the tone of David sounded like he was still angered about him trying to destroy life, this started to change his opinion of the heroes. Shaking his head, Yu focused on the subject at hand, this was a problem in his world and he needed to focus on this, for all he knows it might give him some leads for his investigation.

Taking a cool but calm like stance, Yu looked up. "Right ... as important this investigation is, having people in their top form would make things go more easier. So yes rest is good ... but about everything else ... " He said, his gaze stared towards a different direction, memories from the murders of Inaba came back, his fists tightened in fear. "In my opinion I would check everywhere ... that un-searched area might prove useful as other gather and chase the other leads. But take this from me Fuuka-san, I'm not that experienced as a Detective, I'm more of a leader character, but I will help and think in anyway to help this investigation." Yu said, placing his calm gaze upon the three once more.

"Maybe Nao- ... I mean Shirogane-san would help us?" Yu said to himself, remembering one of his investigation team members, someone who is actually a detective. "That wouldn't work ... she will probably be busy. What do you think about this David-san?"

Airship Rising Dawn: Storage Area: Slindis, Dimitri, Rugal, Teri, Garm, Sadei, Annie

Needless to say, Rugal was not happy to have Garm snarling in his face, quickly grabbing the Wolf's jaws as he was pinned while he wrestled with the creature.
Despite the weight of both it and Teri, He was soon able to get the upper hand as he gripped the Dire Wolf's fur before managing to lift the beast over his head and flinging both him and Teri into a pile of stacked crates.
"Do yourself a favor, Stay down!" He taunted right before he had his legs pulled from under him by Slindis.

Once she threw him, he quickly rolled back on his feet before drawing his pistol.
"Let there be light!" He shouted before firing at the pile of Jerry Cans, igniting them and causing a chain reaction of explosions, lighting up the room as well as hurting anyone who was too close to them.
With the darkness gone, he was able to finally get back in the fight.
Too this end, he first focused on Annie, seeing how she was closest, quickly racing over for a powerful Open Palm Strike to her chest before following up with a small but powerful uppercut motion to her chin, hard enough to lift her off her feet for a moment.

After that, he doubled his efforts on the Drow, forcing her back on the defensive as the Light from the fires allowed him to see her and allowed him to strike faster and harder.
He ended this with a massive Phoenix Smasher, Putting as much power into it as he could in a bid to put that blue ***** down.

"Hey, open up the Hanger, I gotta head back into the city for..."Reasons"." He then told Alpha, keen on letting this beast of a car tear up the city streets.

While it'll alert whomever is behind this, It'll be easier to explain away the people getting ill from bad food then some Cthulhu style Demi-god." David answered the Shadow Ops as he eyed up the file photo.
"Anyway, Is there anything else or shall we get the full mission briefing tomorrow?"

Ella's words seemed to cause Jenny to sour a little.
"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh forxget about blade. he'd micuh ratheer work with hirhyu on somue dumb spy mission kthen carre haxwt i did. he's alwaybs so busuy..." She slurred as she struggled to get under the covers, though it did seem like there was some resentment towards her other half, seeing how his last appearance in this RP was over half a year ago!
"ajust don't flet him foyrget who he isj. it wouldn't do for him to gket a taste for cock only to then gset his old body back, am i right?" She teased with a goofy smile on her face as she laid down in the bed.
"...you think fhe'll get hifs old body back?" she then asked, attempting to be serious but clearly failing.

At this point Kala had heard just enough out of Ryan... to call him friend. "Well, it's been really pleasant talking with you." she said with a smile "I could use a drink and maybe a bite to eat though. You can come along if you wish, but I'm going to head back to the Canteen to see what's on the menu if you don't mind." she said, exiting the room with one last remark. "Since you seem to manage it so well, I don't think I'll be putting that disguise back on any time soon."

As she arrived at the canteen she spotted Mele from across the room speaking with someone unfamiliar to her. This probably wasn't the best time to enter a somewhat upbeat person into their conversation, but she tapped on Melethia's shoulder with a
"Hey Mele, long time no see... who's your friend?" she said, gesturing to the Hunter... who it wouldn't take too long for her to figure out was likely drunk. Given her appearance it wouldn't take much to possibly spook a drunken Hunter.

Mood Music - This one's for the ladies (Sorry Garm) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kLTl4DqGHE]

When Teri and Garm hit the crates, Dimitri's voice called out in concern, clearly regretting his decision to call his Creator into the mess, [color=3897E0]
Code:
"YOUR LADYSHIP!"
[/color]

There was a small shuffling as the wolf pulled himself out of the wreckage, Teri somehow still clinging to her wolf's fur. [color=0E59E4]"[small]That's one way to kill a buzz...[/small]I'm alright, Dimitri. Just stick to the plan."
"Ow, fuckity ow... That really hurt... I wonder if the Real Dad is even aware of what's going on in there...? Man, if only we could talk to the big guy. You think we could bluff him to put that ring back on?"
"After what you pulled off with Real Dad, it's probably long gone. Let's just make the most of what we got then... Annie, as Mum probably told you, we're trying to get Dad into a training room to exorcise his Shadow! Try not to do anything that will give him a chance to counter. Just push him towards the training room. Dimitri will take care of the path!"[/color]

Taking the moment to re-set her grip on Sadei, Garm readied himself for another charge, signalling, [color=356D60]"We're trying to get him in the room, correct? Then we need to push back! I'll snip at his heels, and you try to keep some pressure up, Tear-ri! Don't get too close though. We don't want to give him another opportunity."[/color]

Following that bit of advice, the wolf sped back into the fray, and began doing as he said he would, trying to snip at the King of Fighter's heels and set up a flank with Slindis and Annie. Teri, from what both of the attacking women could see, had shown to have learned quite a bit during that week of training, including how to hold herself on her wolf with her legs. With a whirl of Sadei, the Cleric aimed for her adoptive father's head before bringing the quarterstaff down. Perhaps with those two acting on flank, Rugal could be pushed back a bit more easily..?

Shadow Operatives Building: Lab: Yu Narukami, David, [color=5F8B7F]Fuuka[/color] and [color=955555]Mitsuru[/color]

Fuuka gave a light laugh at Yu's suggestion, and shook her head, [color=5F8B7F]"If Shirogane-san and the rest of your Investigation team were available, Philemon wouldn't have called strangers to our aid, Narukami-san. As you've guessed, she is taking on a case for us in Hokkaido regarding Shadow based activity."[/color]

Mitsuru cut in again, giving a small smile regarding Yu's friend and added in again, [color=955555]"Back on topic..? Anyways, we plan on reiterating all of this information again, so there is nothing else to be said at the present. However, I do advise all of your comrades get plenty of rest. Knowing our luck, this probably won't be the last we've heard of the Shadow Zones either. You will need to be at your best should they, or some other threat, strike... You are dismissed to take the night at your leisure. I only ask that you will be able to get up in the morning."[/color]

Shadow Operatives Building: Canteen: Kalastryn, Melethia, Ton Ton, Som

Seeing that Melethia had finally seguewayed the topic away from her childhood, Ton Ton gave a light sigh, and looked to the Drunken Hunter, [color=15650D]"I believe you two were speaking on hunting supernatural entities, and not really considering the ethics of what was done to give the both of you your abilities and fighting prowess. That's about what you missed, sir."[/color]Well, that was certainly a bit more venom than was normal for the generally cordial Tonberry; which came as something of a surprise to Melethia and Som, considering how gentle he was a few moments ago.

These same words were what Kalastryn heard about right when she walked in. However, upon the familiar tiefling's return, the Tonberry gave an acknowledging wave of his little lantern, and his tone shifted to a lighter one again, [color=15650D]"Greetings, Ms. Kalastryn. It's been a while since I've last seen you among us. As for your advice, it sounds along the lines of something Mr. Caim would tell me and Cadolbolg. 'You two are too young to be drinking stuff like this. Not that you should, it clouds your minds. Don't do as your father does, kids.' Or something like that. When did you return?"[/color]

"Ton Ton correct? It has been a while. I flew all the way over here from our last locale. Took a while considering I wasn't on the airship... I tend to get left behind huh?" she pondered. "Anyway, your father would be right. Alcohol is a pleasantry some people take too much from. I usually don't drink too much of it though." She said as she recalled something/ someone from home. "I do remember there was a friend of mine back home who could drink all he wanted of it and he never seemed to get intoxicated... then again there wasn't much to dumb down..." She said in gentle reference to an old acquaintance's intelligence. "Oh, and I've made a discovery that I don't have an author as well. Shocking I know, but while I came from someone's made up world my parents had me far after they had taken up their own consciousness, so I was untouched by any outside forces." She said, so many questions answered at once made her feel... happy, for the first time in a while.

Tama could feel Sadei trying to gather herself for the next attack. [color=b05fe9]"Okay, just gotta see if I can actually burn that Shadow of his with my touch..."[/color]

ALthough Rugal was able to get some glancing blows on Slindis, his Coup de Grace was nimbly dodged around as she redirected his momentum into another storage crate. [color=c200]"You claim to bring light? You couldn't brighten a warehouse at night with a Fireball."[/color] After darting around Teri's charge and Annie's assault, she made a defensive retreat closer to the door that Dimitri had set up. If she could make him think he had her on the ropes, this just might work.

Shadow Operatives Building: Canteen: Kalastryn, Melethia, Ton Ton, Som

Melethia's response to the drunken hunter waking up was just as blunt as Ton-Ton's was; "Bah, just get me a drink. Same as Ton-Ton's." She would have continued the shunning, but Kalastryn walked in shortly after.

"That's nice to hear, Kal. I was kind of wondering if you saw Slin or my sis anywhere? I was gonna practice some with someone that can stay sober."

Shadow Operatives Building: Call Room: Jenny, Ella

"If those Striders are anything like those Angels, might be some shady stuff going on to mess that up. DO you have any way to hear from him?" Ella was trying to be a bit understanding here to help the two out, considering how kind (sober) Jenny was. She didn't want too much more to happen to the Gardevoir. However, the topic of Devon came up and Ella snickered.
"You think I would change so much of Devon for that, Jenny? For shame! How could you even imply that~!" The teasing ended, and even the completely smashed Jenny could feel Ella's mood change.
"To be honest, Jenny? I wish I could say it would happen, but it's a pretty powerful curse. The only beings that would be strong enough to fix it would all throw in some more conditions to fix it, or would take ages to get that skilled in Teri's case. Why do you think I've tried getting Devon used to it? Easy fixes would just make Ageha try again, with how she is."

Shadow Operatives Building Party Room: Cadol, Devon

After finishing the cake, Devon turned to Cadolbolg. [color=00c863]"Okay, I know we were supposed to stay in here tonight, but what do you say about seeing the town? It would let me try on that other nice outfir you picked out for me, and I know you'd like to explore outside~"[/color] While Cadolbolg thought about it, Devon changed into the other outfit [http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a595/RWheatley20/6756969_zps294218b6.jpg][footnote]Thanks, Caramel Frappe![/footnote] that had been picked out by Cadolbolg.

[color=00c863]"Are you ready to have a bit of fun tonight?"[/color] Man, Ella had been right. Devon was nice before, but it felt like something big had changed in her with Cadol's help! Now if only Cadolbolg could try one of those cake shots...

Sitting down on the Wooden Chair, Constance regarded the spirit with cautious eyes before looking at their rustic surroundings, especially the snow capped mountains that loomed in the distance. Coming from a world that was relatively featureless, save for the occational hill or body of water, the peaks drew the Vampire's amazement.

"What is this place?" The Sorrowfeld Vampire repeated as she turned her gaze back towards the remnant powers of the Writer, "It's beautiful."

As she sat, the Vampire took a moment to take a sip of her tea and found the herbal elixer to her liking. Turning back to her visitor, she looked at him. He did not seem sad, or tormented or in pain. He seemed normal. Since the death of her family and her "recruitment" into stopping the Ebony Fist Soldiers, death had been the one thing that the Young Vampire feared.

"What's it like?" She asked suddenly, hoping that she could get some incite and perhaps overcome what it was that kept her from being able to help save her world.

Som waved his hand towards the Small Lizard man before looking for the bottle of scotch and finding it empty on the ground. It was strange to see that Som seemed rather normal, even though he was drunk not minutes ago. Even his voice was back to the even and measured without hint of stutter as he responded to Ton-Ton.

"Life could have been worse." The Hunter said simply as he turned to see another one of the Rising Dawn's Crew Members entering the Canteen. The Hunter was not surprised to see yet another non-human and though he kept his face neutral in expression, he could not say that he was pleased. He did, however, keep his normally acidic comments to himself, even if the creature that entered resembled a Firian.

Kalastryn said:
"Hey Mele, long time no see... who's your friend?"
"Som Waterford of the Hunter's Authority." Som said simply. Just because he was willing to accept Kalastryn's presence did not mean that he was willing to engage in conversation. Looking at the Magic User, the hunter's hand unconsciously slipped close to the handle of his blade.

"(Kill it! Kill it! Kill the Firian!)" A voice from inside Som's head screamed as he tried to resist the urge to pounce upon Kala and plunge the Hunter's knife into the thing's stomach.

*SLAM!!!*

The sound of Som's hand slamming the table as he wrenched it away from the handle of his weapon.

"Perhaps I could join since I am quite sober." The Hunter suggested in a tone that indicated that things would happen if he did not get out of the Canteen soon.

Airship Rising Dawn: Storage Area: Slindis, Dimitri, Rugal, Teri, Garm, Sadei, Annie

Rugal was actually pretty impressed when Slindis caused him to ram into one of the storage crates, giving off a small laugh afterwards.
"Okay, credit where it's due, that was pretty good..." He admitted as he pulled himself from the dent his impact caused in the box.
Gripping the wooden crate with one of his hands, his fingers prying though the wood, he then effortlessly flung it at the drow, she'd most likely dodge it, but it kept her out of his way.

Before he could capitalize on his attack, he saw Teri and Garm charging towards him.
His expression seemed to turn into one of annoyance as he stood his ground as the duo raced towards him, Teri about to take his block off with Sadei.
What happened instead though was he reached his arms out in front of him and grabbed the staff before it could hit, causing Teri to be dismounted while Garm raced on, The Cleric still clinging onto the other the staff.
Before the weight enchantment could kick in, Rugal then swung the end Teri was hanging onto into another of the bay's Storage Crates, slamming her back first into it before dropping Sadei to the ground, knowing he couldn't wield it for more then a few seconds.
Even then, he winced as the mere act of holding the staff lit up all the nerves in his hands.

It was then that Annie began her attack, Despite Rugal catching the fist, it had a lot more kick to it then her last attack.
"Huh...That's a good straight, But now what do you do?" He remarked before bringing her arm down and headbutting her in the face.
He would have done more, but the large amount of smoke those Jerry cans he ignited was starting to get to him, He'd only start to tire himself out if he tried to fight like this.
Thus he made his way out of the Storage Bay, coughing and hacking slightly, thereby allowing Dimitri to block off all other routes except one straight to the Training room, blast doors already starting to come down.
"Oh great...Just what I need..." He grumbled as he realized their plan.
"Even if you get me back in that Zone, it won't make a difference! You think I'm just some construct Nyarlathotep made to fuck with you?! HELL NO! I *AM* RUGAL BERNSTEIN! DEAL WITH IT!" The Shadow began ranting as he attempted to find a way past the blast doors, striking at the metal in a vain attempt to break though it.
