Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella

Icarus Blushed as Slindis explained making him feel foolish he sat down
"Sorry I-I'll be quiet" he said, Jenny then asked about his odd comment.
"Well umm Miss? The Sirknights I know they umm they can't talk, also that's just what they?re called I think they some named them, Garden-vores, it was some sort of French sounding name."
He then heard David's comment, something about that description made him shudder.
"Umm Mister David, This Captain does he look like this?"
Icarus extended his hand and focused, black smoke drifted from his fingers and the began pooling a few feet below him it rose like a pillar of black smoke, With a flick of his wrist the smoke dropped like a curtain, everyone gasped for now an almost perfect image of Rugal was standing there, but there was something off, very off, about him, the most obvious thing was his mustache it didn't even match his hair, it was a dark handlebar mustache that looked almost comical, but the rest f Rugal was nothing of the sort he looked angry and aggressive his fists were clenched tight, his eyes were cross and merciless, it was unsettling to see him this was not the Rugal they knew.
The False Rugal stood still until Icarus lowered his hand and the image faded away into smoke.
"Sorry if that scared you guys I guess I should have mentioned I'm an Illusionist." He smiled a bit nervously.

David was a little surprised when Icarus brought out a near picture prefect image of the captain, key word here being "Near".
"...I don't think he gets shaving tips from Dick Dastardly, but...yeah...That's him." He said somewhat awkwardly, something told him things might get a little ugly soon.
After all, Rugal didn't really get his reputation from being a figurehead captain, but rather from what he did before that....
Oh this is awkward...God, someone break the silence... He silently prayed before Boss suddenly appeared with 2 cans of Billy Beer.
...That'll work.
"Hey Boss! When'd you get back?...And since when did we get Billy Beer?"

Jenny meanwhile corrected Icarus by saying "Gardevoir. Still, I understand. We can be shy creatures at times...".
It was then that she commented on the Rugal image, adding "Yeah, I mean, aside from the mustache. That's him. Have you met him before?".
After she had said that, she realized she shouldn't when David made a angry gesture at her.

Deadshot's humble quest for an ATM came to a sudden head as David was kind enough to ensure that his future offspring were aborted early.
As he curled up into a ball on the ground, one had to wonder what choices he had made to get to that position in life

((There should be more here, but there isn't :/))

Garm gave a small wince after seeing David give a strong kick to Deadshot's private regions and looked up at the intercom again, [color=356D60]"So Dimitri, you think Tear-ri might need to get up here? This guy got a hard blow."[/color]
[color=3897E0]
Code:
"Her Ladyship is busy at the moment in training with User: Rugal Bernstein. I can send her here afterwards, if he is remains immobile. However, I am a bit concerned about our toilets in the brig now. If they're able to be used as a break out point, that might be an issue in security... I shall speak with Ms. Vermilion further about how to fix this, as well as try to monitor Deadshot's movements further. Dimitri out."
[/color]

The wolf gave a small bob of his head and continued padding along with David, Edge, and Selena, [color=356D60]"First, my name isn't 'Fuzzy'. It's Garm, after Queen Hel's watchdog [sub]at least, that's what Tear-ri said[/sub]. Second, I'm wondering how you guys got here. From what I've heard, this pack gets all sorts of members from all over."[/color]

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss

Angelus gave a simple blink to Icarus' illusion and after giving a swallow, answered, "That would be Bernstein. However, as mentioned before, the mustache is a bit off. You might be able to have your tricks work on lesser beings, however. Create some sort of ghoul or goblin to frighten a foot-soldier, perhaps; some mortals are incredibly superstitious."

Before she could say anything else, Boss appeared out of thin air, bearing beers and joy. Provoking a small smile and a non-chalant wave, "I don't prefer beer, but perhaps Caim will be happy to take you up on that after he's done training? How have you been, Boss? Is your cohort still about as well?"

Rising Dawn: Training Room 1: Rugal, Teri

Teri winced as Rugal helped her up, and turned up the healing effects of her Aura to aid in taking away the pain before doing anything else. Waiting a few more moments for the bruises to go away, the Cleric began to gather energy from her 4th level spell slot and began to charge a proper Reppuken this time around. She HAD held charges like this before, but it wasn't longer than for a few seconds, [color=0E59E4]"That and I've stored them into a hand, rather than gather energy... Okay, focus!"[/color]

As the energy gathered in her hand, Teri began to draw her hand back, and held on for what felt like an eternity (which was actually six seconds) before flinging her arm and shouting, [color=0E59E4]"REP-PUKEN!"[/color] as the strongest iteration she could manage of the attack charged towards a nearby wall.

Rising Dawn: Outside the Training Room: - Caim, Devon

Caim gave a nod, his smirk fading into a more familiar, frowning expression,
Code:
"Very well. I see that you're becoming more accustomed to your armor as well. This is good; if you cannot feel your armor upon you, when it acts as a second skin; it is the best you can be with it.

Also, because we're working with your skills with a blade and your footwork, I'm going to ask that you do not use your magic here. This will apply to me as well. Understood?"
The swordsman took a defensive stance, and spoke his final bit before the training began,
Code:
"When you are ready, have at me."

Selena rolled her eyes,
"How subtle" She heard Saw Deadshot Curled up in agony,
"Look if he needs medical attention I could spare a potion, I don't know if it'll fix the damage but it will make the pain go away. She tried not looking at the very Large wolf around, Witches had a strange relationship with wolves, No one was sure how or why it got started, the main issue was that She had been keeping herself inconspicuous a few simple spells made it hard fir her to get noticed but by speaking aloud she broke the spell, Wolves could either show her affection or they tired to rip her heart out, she hoped it was the former because she didn't want to have to defend herself. Keeping an eye on the wolf, she retrieved a potion from her bag, it was a small vial with a dark blue liquid inside she set it down beside dead-shot not saying a word not taking her eyes off of the wolf.

"I have no idea how we got here." Edge said, responding to Garm. "I was working at least a mile away from the other guys. I thought maybe Boss teleported me here, but he has this weird radar-sense that always keeps him right-side-up. Among other effects." Edge looked over to David. "Although I have my suspicions."

Edge sighed. "My name is Edge, by the way. Howdy. Can you tell us anything about the rest of the 'pack'? It's been awhile since Boss or I have been here, and you'll find very quickly that I'm terrible with names."

Boss smiled. "YOU!" he said. "I remember you! You're that dragon that hung out with us sometimes!" Boss gestured to Icarus. "And Icarus is here, too!" Boss smiled, and sat down at the table with Angelous. "This is gonna be great. I just know it."

Garm tilted his head in the other direction, a curious noise escaping his throat, [color=356D60]"Your friend pulled you here with your powers, huh? Well, that would be one of the easier stories to believe around here.

As for your question about the pack, I suppose I should explain a little better. Tear-ri has explained to me that human packs can come in two varieties: the close pack, and the extended pack. I think they're called families, but I like using 'pack' better; makes more sense to me. Anyways, I think of our whole pack like that. We're one big extended pack made up of little 'close packs' or loners. So, do you want to know more about my close pack or the extended pack?"[/color]

While waiting for Edge to answer, Garm couldn't help but notice that Selena was keeping a hard eye on him while giving Deadshot a potion that would supposedly take away Deadshot's pain. The wolf's ears went back, and he gave a small whine of confusion, [color=356D60]"Why are you staring at me like that? If I wanted to attack you, I would have done it already! Dimitri said you're not to be worried about, so I'm not gonna worry. So, could you stop?"[/color]

Selena heard the wolf's request to stop looking at him
"Sorry You'll have to forgive me I don't see many tame Wolves, it's either wild one that's after a me, or its a trained hunting dog for some plucky hero type, so forgive me if a talking wolf makes me nervous."She glared at Garm accusingly before dropping her stare.

She had her arms crossed, holding herself tightly, She seemed uncomfortable. he had stopped staring at Garm.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss

Slindis takes a look at Chris and tilts her head. [color=c200]"I've never seen you before... and Sadei's currently with Teri in the training? I would say it's nice to meet you, but... can we talk about this some other time before I get a headache? I'm really hoping the pancakes are good..."[/color] The look of confusion told the others there that Slindis didn't recognize the woman at all.

[color=c200]"Icarus, it's okay. On this ship, some of the people might give off lots of energy in their training, and that's expected. Although... you might want to avoid the twirly moustache thing around Rugal. He'd probably let me train you for that, and my training might involve a blinded room combined with myriad arrows assaulting you."[/color] Her chuckle was meant to help the boy relax, although the message that Rugal was someone to at least work with here was apparent.

It was around that time where Melethia bounced out with the imps, carrying decent looking plates of pancakes! "We made some extra, but if you want more after that you can wait until I'm done eating with the ones I made for mom." The adolescent green-haired Elf sat next to Slindis, diving in to the pancakes as she gave the other drow a brief wave.

Finally, Ella whispered to Chris. [small]"Could you ease off on asking about a sentient staff? From what I gathered, bit of a sore spot... Still, you at least seem competent."[/small]

Rising Dawn: Outside the Training Room: - Caim, Devon

Devon nodded and bowed as she drew her blade, greeting Caim with a respectful look. [color=00c863]"the armor must have adjusted somehow, but I won't use my magic here."[/color] After she took a moment to collect herself, she wen in to combat Caim with a few thrusts that were more defensive than offensive. It was one of the more complex things Caim has been working on with Devon - getting the attack wouldn't happen at the start, but it would make your opponent overextend themselves in a counter thrust.

After the initial attacks, Devon began to treat the fighting area as if it were some kind of dance floor, trying to read Caim's attacks so she could guide the tempo of the fight.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss

The drow's confusion grows more and more as she sits in her seat, listening to Slindis speak. Her eyes glace towards the other drow's left arm for a moment, then back up to her eyes, shaking her head slightly from side to side in disbelief. "If you... say so. I'm... sorry for... any confusion, miss Slindis." She does seem to perk up slightly, giving a hesitant nod to the elf who'd glanced at her, as the salad arrives shortly behind the pancakes, having real food for the first time in a while taking priority over her confusion. She even smiles a little as she digs into the simple vegetables of the meal.

She looks up to David, swallowing the lettuce and spinach in the salad before answering. "I... wish I knew, to be honest. I... was trying to go back to... Imora, my world, by... stowing away on a... spelljammer, I think my contacts called it. But... the crate I was in must... have been shipped elsewhere, because I... ran out of my... stored food and had to... get out. And then I was... here."

She takes another bite of the greenery before responding to Ella, her voice also a very soft whisper, hoping not to give Slindis a headache, and following her wishes to not discuss it at the moment. "A... staff? But... Sadei's a spider, a very bright one that I... gave to miss Slindis before I left." She sighs, shaking her head, getting ready to say more before she notices the sudden arrival of Boss, cringing slightly at the boisterous entrance. She does relax as he sits down without further incident, but does reach up and pull her hat down a bit more tightly atop her head, instictively trying not to be noticed, as she continues to eat.

Wanderer (Just arrived), David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss
Rising Dawn | Canteen.
The conversations and activity in the canteen made it a bustling place, this made many of the places around the Dawn very quiet indeed. This all attracted the attention and stomach of one of the ship's more recent members. His footsteps falling in place with many of the heroes that roamed the halls before his time on-board, some left many, many years ago, some left in recent times. No one would have heard the footsteps coming from the hallway, except for one loud thump, close enough to a boom, which immediately went quite.

Entering the Canteen hall was a man with unshaven stubble, blackened glasses with a hint of blue, and a Doctor's coat with a symbol with a cross on the arms. Yet what most people would have seen was a rather large rifle on his back, still smoking. It was a 50 Calibre, it's noise matching the owner, the same about it's danger and deadliness. This man was the ship's Doctor, at least that is what he liked to be called. "The Good Doctor", yet he mostly went by the name of "Wanderer".

The loner character gave a grumble as he entered, seeming disturbed by the large gathering. "How much energy do these people have ... [sub]I should check with ... [/sub]" He said with voice trailing off into a puff of noise.

Instead of greeting the band of members, he walked awkwardly, as if he had no sleep. His legs carried him to a table that was by a open window. Sitting down, he carried rather weird objects. Apart from the large gun on his back, a box with many question marks on it's sides was situated under his right arm. With a solid thump, the box was placed on the table in a rather loud way. Taking a seat, his hands moved under the table, suddenly pulling out a old soda pop bottle filled with red glowing liquid. If that was not weird enough, the next object he pulled was a bush full of Jalapeno peppers!

Pulling the lid off with his nimble fingers, the lone figure ate by himself, eating one pepper and then a gulp of the weird soda. After a while, half a bush, and bottle, the man was laying his head on the table, eyes still opening, muttering his thoughts.

("Real fuckin' anti-social of ya!") His darker inner-thoughts told himself.
("Shut ... fuck up ... *****~") His normal thoughts shot back with a pause.

("You should talk to the new gal ... just like the elf gal ... except ... purple? I don't know, just talk to her ... so we know her spot.")
("No shooting.")
("You are no fun sometimes.")

The inner-squabble continued as the man still laid his head on the table.

Rising Dawn: Outside the Training Room: - Caim, Devon

Caim brought his blade against Devon's with a harsh *KI-IN* sound resounding in the training room, the edges of Caim's mouth tugging for a brief moment,
Code:
"Good! You remembered to approach a stronger opponent with a defensive maneuver! The ideal of defense, of your opponent approaching you, is not always reachable!"
He threw off the blow by pushing back against Devon's blade, the locked blades disconnecting and Devon beginning her movements around Caim, and the former prince readied his blade again,
Code:
"However, I see what you intend to do. How do you make an opponent over-reach, hmn? You surprise them. Think fast!"
After he said that, Caim whirled around and brought his blade in Devon's direction, looking to see how his student would take advantage of his opening.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss, Wanderer

Once again, David's attempt to be social was about as successful as ever (Read: Not so much), making him wish he didn't make such a big deal about Chris and Slindis friendship.
Still, before the awkwardness could sink in, Mel was nice enough to show up with the food.
"Nice, Shrove Tuesday came early it seems." He then remarked to try to shake off his missteps as he made as he nabbed up one with his hand and grabbed a packet of sugar to put atop it.
"Well Chris, I don't know what to tell you, though if you are set about getting over to Imora, we do know some people in the business of teleportation that might be able to help you." The Sniper then said before rolling up the thick pancake and wolfing it down in a practiced manner.
"{Hm! These are pretty good!}" he added to Mel though a full mouth, just like ma used to make.

*BANG!*

"{JESUEFCUAKARE--URK!}" He then panicked before starting to choke slightly from the shock of Wanderer setting off a .50 Cal sniper of all things.
"{*COUGH! COUGH*}-*Gulp* ohhhh, Wanderer, the fuck man?!" David then whined in annoyance at the "Good(?) Doctor".
"...Like I said, shit get's hectic here sometimes, guys. Relax, he's a friendly, just needs to learn what a safety is." He followed up to both Chris and Icarus, lest they think Wanderer was an enemy.

Jenny meanwhile was more focused on Chris's reaction to Slindis's denial, especially when she brought up Sadei, She had only just arrived and she already knew of the both of them? (Even if Slin claimed otherwise.)
Still, until she got more info, there wasn't much should could say on the matter.
"It's okay, Chris. Though mind if ask where you thought you had seen Slindis bef-"
And cue Wanderer's "Premature discharge", which certainly got a massive fright out of her.
"AHHH!...WANDERER! You keep going that, I swear, I'll tell everyone your real name!" She threatened, more out of annoyance then anything else.

Rising Dawn: In Transit In a Hallway: | Edge | Selena | [color=9BBED5]David Ashworth[/color] | Garm | AI Dimitri | Deadshot

Deadshot was quick to down the glowing blue vial of potion in front of his face, though it still took a while fore the dull after-pain of a nutshot to fade.
[sub]"Why didn't he just kill me?"[/sub] He whined as he slowly picked himself off the ground before staring at the others.
[sub]"...I think I'll take that shower now..."[/sub] The then groaned before walking off, stopping only to pick up a rather strange card off the ground.

Rising Dawn: Training Room 1: Rugal, Teri

Seeing how she actually did it right this time, Rugal once again nodded with approval as it impacted against the wall, not as strong as her "Kaiser Wave" but it was still impressive for her age.
"Better. Notice the strain on the arm as you held that energy. That's another factor in the Kaiser Wave, You don't do it right and you'll end up causing a great deal of harm to yourself. And that's before we get into the "Knockback". To minimize the risk of both, you'll need to make sure your stance is precise and firmly grounded."
He then moved beside her and said "Now do as do, legs apart, feet squarely on the ground, body relaxed. Bring your arms up from your sides and spread them out wide. At this point, you'll want to start to gather your energy. Once you start to feel to burn, you should have enough to engage the attack.

Again, legs apart, feet on the ground, relax. Arms up from sides, gather energ-KAISER WAVE!"
Right on cue, a wave of Ki energy went flying across the room, that poor wall was going to need a serious holiday once this training session is over.
"One more thing, only start moving your arms back further when you want to store more energy. The more you store, the more powerful the attack, the more powerful the attack, the greater the risk for misfire or being blindsided. Therefore, just focus on firing the second you feel the strain of the energy. Now give it a go."
Once again, the teacher stood by and let his student follow his directions.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss, Wanderer

At the sound of Wanderer's shot, Angelus' head perked up and she readied a fireball in her hand- only to put it out again once she realized the source, giving an irritated yet inhuman growl and settled back in her seat; the fire extinguishing as she swallowed the last bit of her first meal (and proceeded to wait for her round of waffles) "Was that really necessary, Wanderer? Save the theatrics for when we've something to really worry about.."
However, her attention was diverted when Melethia came her way, the dragon snatching a waffle with a smile, "My thanks, little one. You certainly look like you're enjoying your time with the imps, hmn?"

Rising Dawn: In Transit In a Hallway: | Edge | Selena | [color=9BBED5]David Ashworth[/color] | Garm | AI Dimitri | Deadshot

With Deadshot up and about again, Garm's attention returned to the sullen witch, [color=356D60]"'Tame'? If that means 'Don't attack on sight', I guess that is me. Besides, I am neither of those things you've described. I am myself, which just happens to be a wolf. As I said before, if I wanted to hurt you, I would have done so already. And yet you're nice and warm. Now, where did that blonde kid(Maka) run off to? I thought I was suppose to be keeping track of all of you..."[/color]

Even while waiting a response from Edge, Garm continued to pad ahead; his pace lax, yet full of purpose.

Rising Dawn: Training Room 1: Rugal, Teri

Teri paid close attention to Rugal's stance walkthrough for the Kaiser Wave, and found herself asking a few times, [color=0E59E4]"The stances, again please?"[/color] as she walked through the steps Rugal had taken prior to unleashing the Kaiser Wave. Rugal saw that his student mostly stuck with imitating his movements for the first couple of minutes, making sure she was following his instruction exactly before moving towards the practical side of the exercise.

After the first few minutes of practicing the forms, the Cleric finally began to actually gather the energy in chest, spreading her arms wide and taking the proper stance before she felt the buildup began to well in her chest, feeling almost like a scream clawing at the back of one's throat. Holding it for a moment longer, the Cleric threw her arms forward and shouted, [color=0E59E4]"KAISER- WAVE!"[/color] another blast of energy came forth, and brought the poor wall some more abuse. However even with the knockback that came with it, Rugal saw that Teri's practice of his stances came through, and she still stood on her own two feet. Giving a happy whoop and leaping into the air with triumph, the beamed up brightly at her teacher for being able to pull it off properly this time around; and awaited further instruction, [color=0E59E4]"WHOO! Anything else I need to work on with it?"[/color]

Rising Dawn | Canteen: Wanderer, David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss

Chris was just getting ready to reply to David's offer of help when she heard the loud thump. Her head whipped around towards the entrance the sound came from, her suddenly tense body already halfway out of her chair. She had no idea where to run or hide on a ship like this, but her flight reaction was immediate. Only when everyone else's reaction or lack thereof registered did she sit back down in her seat, her face again mostly hidden under her hat, but her cheeks darkened again as she heard Wanderer muttering about her.

She looked back up at Jenny, her salad already halfway gone in such a short time. "Miss Slindis was... a friend of mine on the last... world I was on before... trying to get back home." She would look back over at Slindis for a moment. "She's... changed, though. Things I... remember are gone, or..." her teeth worried her lower lip as she remembered what Ella had said about Sadei. "different. I... only left a couple of weeks ago... this doesn't make any sense."

Rising Dawn | Canteen: Wanderer, David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss

Icarus heard the gun shot but tried to keep a calm head, he had smirked at Slindis' offer about training.
"I-ummm I think I could explain how there's an inconstancy in memories."
He felt the two elves eyes fall on him, Then again he did make a bold claim
"I could be wrong but well this is from personal experience, you said you left a few weeks ago right?
Well perhaps when you left you might have ended up in the wrong timeline, When I came here I didn't just travel to different dimensions, when your in an alternate dimension you can travel to a different time period much easier, so what may have been weeks ago could have easily been years for Slindis, and there's the fact that maybe your timeline is just separate from hers. Dimensional travel is difficult and risky When I traveled here I knew I;d be roughly going ten years into the past, and well I created a paradox somewhere in the timeline, Paradoxes don't always tear reality, they do however stick out. Considering Slindis' lack of memory about you I'd say your not from Her timeline, so she would look and behave differently."

He Could still feel the massive energy waves he was itching to go and investigate but it was more than fear. He wanted to see what kind of skill was at work, he wanted to see how strong the person creating those huge spikes in energy,
That's when the waffles came he hadn't eaten waffles in a long time and he was so hungry he started eating, eating them he started to remember the last time he ate waffles, It was showing on his face his eyes suddenly turned sad, almost like he wanted to cry.

Rising Dawn: Training Room 1: Rugal, Teri

Beaming with pride, Rugal couldn't help but give out a little round of applause at Teri's success as the energy stuck against the wall.
"Aside from practice, I think you have it down. Now, don't go thinking you can actively use this in battle just yet though. As a finisher, perhaps, but odds are if you managed to bring your enemy to that point, then the Kaiser Wave would be overkill." He explained before examining the damage on the wall.
"As you've no doubt figured out, because you controlled your energy much better, you weren't blasted back. Now, there is nothing wrong with using more power in the future, but in the end, you'll want to be aiming for stability rather then power in order to not be left off guard.

Still, just keep training and I think you will do well."

"Still, just keep training and I think you will do well."

Teri's face brightened more with the praise and gave a determined nod at the final bit of advice, [color=0E59E4]"Understood, sir; and thanks for teaching me! Really, I do appreciate it. Now, I'm gonna head by the canteen and hopefully find Garm with Mum. You coming?"[/color]

Before Rugal could intimate a proper answer, a voice chimed in over the intercom, [color=3897E0]

"Apologies for interrupting, but I have been holding off on alerting you of the new arrivals, User: Mr. Bernstein. As acting Captain of the ship, I thought it appropriate that you should be aware. Myself and Ms. Vermilion have already evaluated them as friendlies, but have naturally kept an eye out in case something should arise. The current data I have gather so far has been sent to your PDA. That is all."

Wanderer, David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss
Rising Dawn | Canteen.
Once the dragon, unknown creature, and drunk were done with their speech to the Wanderer, his hands rubbed his eyes, as if he was trying to remove the Rheum from his eyes. Pulling himself slowly off the table, he felt as if a truck just crushed him. "That ... was an accident.." He said to the three before giving off a quiet yawn, covering his mouth while doing so. "Jesus ..." He mumbled under his breath, the fatigue slowly rolling out of his body.

Noticing a second new person, Wanderer felt like he wanted to smack his darker personality. Pulling himself off the chair, he stumbled a fair bit but found the canteen bin and disposed of the pepper bush and bottle, sorting the bottle into the recycling weirdly enough. Walking back to the table with some black coffee in hand, he gazed at the two newcomers, his glowing eyes hidden by the lucky shades. Placing his coffee and soon to be followed large rifle onto the table, the man opened the box on the table.

The glow in the box sprang onto the Wanderer's face. His hands immediately reached in and began placing the weird weapons on the table, all lined up and organized, as if this was a proper weapon store.

The first thing that came into his hands were the swords, the touch of his hand made them spring to life.
One started to glow blow, while the other had lightning coiling around it.
"Well ... this is no technology ... " He muttered. Eyes falling back to the group, his loud voice called out.
"Hey, anyone know how these are ... work?"
The scene was quite weird, a (almost psychopathic) Doctor wielding two almost relic-looking swords.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss, Wanderer

"...Ummmm...I guess you just hit people with the sharp end?" David mused as he looked at the strange swords, that side of weaponry was never his strong suit.
"Might give them to Caim to have a look, he's big into sharp-slash-blunt objects. That or...I dunno, Google it?" He then added before Icarus gave his explanation for what happened to Chris and why Slindis didn't remember her.
"...Considering the fact she even ended up here from just hiding out in a cargo ship means that is most likely what happened. Though I could just be saying that because I have no other idea for why that'd happen and that sounds like something that would happen around here." The Sniper then said as he got back to his meal.

Jenny meanwhile was trying to comfort Chris, It's one thing to go into an alien world all of a sudden, it's another to then have what you know suddenly change on you.
"It's alright, We'll get to the bottom of it sooner or later and until then, you are always welcome here." She then said as she laid her hand on Chris's shoulder.
Suddenly, Chris heard a voice inside her head: "If there is anything you wish to say in private, just let me know and think it. I can use my Telepathy in case you don't want to say it out-loud..."
Despite her message, Jenny's mouth didn't seem to move, except to bring up a forkful of pancake into her mouth.

Rising Dawn: Training Room 1/Canteen: Rugal, Teri

"Thank you Dimitri. And Teri, All I'm going to say is don't call me "Sir". The last thing I want is to get a big head..." Rugal joked before picking up his Jacket and flicking though the files that Dimitri had sent him.
Right, Lets see...Maka, don't know her. Boss and Edge are back, As is Ashworth. Another Drow? Interesting an-...An Angel? Here? Hmmm... He thought as he flicked though each of the files on his PDA on their way to the Canteen.
A quick walk later and he and Teri were there.
"Greetings. Sorry if there was a racket, Teri here just learned how to perform a Kaiser Wave." He then boasted, almost wanting Teri to be embarrassed it seemed as he took a seat next to Slindis, wrapping a loving arm around his partner as he did.
"Ah, you must be Chris and this is Icaru-....Sorry, have we met?" He then asked with a puzzled tone, something seemed familiar about the Black Winged Angel.
