Archangel Barakiel and all active characters for the next arc.
Location: Rising Dawn.
Time: Midday.
Gazing upon the room, people had began to gather. ("And so the wheel of fate spins once more ... ") He though, his eyes rolling over each figure and their reaction and actions. The Archangel's heart felt like it was on fire, anxiety pumping throughout Barakiel's mind. Gaining a grip on himself, the holy being took a deep breath of air, it seemed even the air he breathed transformed into electricity if anyone examined in the chaotic scene.

"I bring no meaning of violence with me, for I want no more pain ... [sub]especially for him[/sub]" The Angel said, his voice quieting down and his arms reaching up towards the ceiling as if he were being arrested. Quickly his wings folded back into his coat, slowly transforming into electricity as well. Another deep breath, he focused onto the first one who had approached him, the small elf girl. Barakiel remembered her, and most of the figures in their room, their attacks leaving a permanent scar on his memory.

Wincing a little, yet the Archangel tried to give a normal smile to the girl, "Ah, thank you. I ... I am a little on edge, I will admit". A fork seemed to materialize in the Angel's hand and he took hold of one piece of the waffle and shoved it in his mouth, gulping it down. He hoped that no one would question the fact that he eats or how he stomachs it. "Human food ... and waffles no less, hehe." He gave a more normal smile and chuckle. Clearing his throat, he indicated for Mel to leave them on the table he sat upon.

"Thank you Mel and Jenny. As I said, I came here for no fight. I come here on behalf of Richardson from UNIT, and my own people. As Jenny said, we have our own fleets. Yet most of them are of course battling Hell's forces in the eternal battle of Heaven and Hell. Religious stuff, but my own fleets, or what remains of it from last time ... are small, we can fight them, but for a short while." Barakiel said, lowering his hands slowly as he started to explain himself, giving a nod to both Edge, Boss, and Deadshot, whose shaver came back to life as the Angel looked at him.

" ... I'll give you a reason. This invasion fleet is not from this world, it came from another. Not only that, but it has gathered much, much technology, even yours and mine. The fleet is huge and it's firepower is bigger, this is the reason I will lose again them." The Archangel said and started laying out the contents of the first dossier that Richardson gave to him, revealing the massive fleet that looked far otherworldly.

Taking a breath of air, the Angel produced another dossier out of thin air. "While UNIT have prepared this, they are busy just like other Heaven forces. So this is left to us. The plan that he suggested was to send you to their universe before they left, so you can find who is doing this and stop them ... all while I'll try my best to protect the world from them in this present." Barakiel said once more, laying the contents on the same table as the first dossier.

"Sorry for asking you this, especially for all the shit I gave you before. Seeing how you have new people and a variety of veterans, I could not think of anyone else. Tomoya would have wanted the same thing ... " He said, leaving a sad look on his face at the end of his sentence. In a few seconds, the uncomfortable look returned to him, he had no idea what they were going to answer, his mind kept screaming the word "faith", but he knew that he feared deep down.

Looking for a distraction he looked towards Boss. "Y-Yes, I was returning the dragon. I was out flying it and giving it the ropes ... we actually use such creatures for battle. They move quite well, and their firepower is impressive." Barakiel said as he looked towards the human Angelus.

"Which I have experienced first hand ... hah." He said with a awkward laughter.

At the entrance of the canteen where Deadshot was, two figures stepped in. One large Caucasian figure which the archangel knew well, and was known to the crew as "Storm", a superhuman Spartan warrior from another world. Yet he did not have his armour on [http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120623034321/fairytailfanon/images/8/81/Anime-guy-anime-guys-6785916-320-547.jpg]. The figure besides him was a girl in a unnatural looking body. This was "Alpha", Storm's partner and the ship's Security AI [http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111102044718/vocaloid/images/5/50/Ofclboxart_cfm_Hatsune_Miku-illu.png]. Wherever Storm was, Alpha was always nearby.

The superhuman came in, surprised at the appearance of his commanding officer. The Archangel took a quick glance and his look changed to a more at ease one. "Hey, what's happening?" the Superhuman walked up to Deadshot and quietly asked.

Archangel Barakiel and all active characters for the next arc.
Location: Rising Dawn.
Time: Midday.
Icarus had been silent for all this, suddenly he heard someone coming fast, he looked and he realized Selena somehow had managed to make her way to the Canteen, He suspected she may be mad if she saw him, considering how he just left her.
He relaxed his mind and focused a basic illusion making him seem invisible, if most people tried looking at him, They;d find themselves oddly uninterested, they'd know he was there but it wouldn't seem to matter. However Icarus knew Selena was looking for him, Focusing his power he made him invisible o her, selective illusions were difficult but not impossible of course anything distracting him would shatter this focus.

Selena walked into the canteen, she saw the heroes all looking at a strange angelic man, She wasn't sure if Icarus was even here but She felt like this is where he'd be. She looked around seeing the strange mix of different people. she kept herself close to the wall, these people looked like the heroic type and those were the sort that liked to attack people like her.

All Active Characters for the next arc (Namely Jenny and Deadshot)
Location: Rising Dawn Canteen
Time: Midday
While the rest of the crew were debating the notion of the earth getting invaded by a massive alien armada, Jenny was nervously trying to break the news to the newer members of the cast of the developing situation.
"...Ummm...So...What he said, any questions?" She said with a forced smile on her face as he glanced around the room only to realize that a few people were missing, namely Icarus and Chris.
"...Chris?...Icarus?..." She said outloud as he began looking around for them, quickly learning that if they didn't want to be found, they wouldn't be.
Letting out a sigh, she then put her hand to her head and began to mentally scan the room for the pair of them in order to pick them out from the crew.
With Icarus, it was a lot harder, focusing on Illusion magic didn't leave much thought for everything else, but Chris was a bit easier.
"...Pardon me Chris but...Why are you hiding under a table? It's okay, No one is going to hurt you here." She mentally sent before kneeling down beside the table she was hiding under, trying to coax the drow out.

Meanwhile, Deadshot was just glad he got his shaver charged, giving Barakiel friendly "Cheers mate!" before sitting down on one of the chairs and finishing his shave, despite having nothing but a bathtowel on.
When Storm asked him what was going on, he answered just as helpful as always as he turned the razor on and got to work: "Just trying to shave around the scarring. The worst part about it is when I'm trying to cut my face fuzz only to get shaving cream and hair inside the hole in my jaw."
As he was going that, he noticed a nice young woman (Selena) standing beside one of the walls before pausing for a moment, giving a cheesy grin and asking "...How you doin'?..."[footnote]Anything in that video works, pick whatever on you like[/footnote].
Judging by the fact he was trying to pick up someone despite having only a bathtowel on, it didn't seem that he knew Icarus was around.

Rising Dawn: Canteen: David West, Angelus, Melethia, Icarus, Slindis, Jenny, Chris, Ella, Boss, Wanderer, Rugal, Teri, Vash

Teri gave a (genuine) smile of approval to Slindis and Melethia, [color=0E59E4]"I'd like that idea a lot, actually. I used to do some cooking for the family and my friends back home. It'd be nice to do the same here too. Hey, maybe you'll learn a little something from me too, Mel!"[/color]
As she was waiting for Mel's response, Toyotama gave a happy woop in her mind. [color=0E59E4]"Fuck yeah it was awesome! Man, what if Dad wants us to keep learning new Kick-ass moves?! That'be fucking SWEET, that's what!"
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Toyotama. Dad did say that we need to practice the Kaiser Wave some more before applying it in combat. But, admittedly, it was very cool for Dad to trust us like that. It really means a lot to me, actually."
"We had better practice A LOT! YOU HEAR ME?!"
[/color]

Angelus gave Ella a small nod, sipping from her drink and adding, "Easy to say, harder to execute. Caim's been practically distraught since they departed. He's happy that they've decided to stick together and Ton Ton has his Mistress' home to return to, but I still sense melancholy. I can't deny I do not feel it myself, but perhaps I am more accustomed to the idea of younglings eventually leaving the nest. It was a part of my bringing anyways."
However, she sighed at Vash's insistence upon remaining unidentified, and said aloud, "We can't simply call you man-"
[color=0E59E4]"*snicker*...Could we call him Dennis?"[/color]
"I- What? Why on earth would be called 'Dennis'?!"

Unfortunately, before much else could be said, Barakiel appeared, and festivities drew to a screeching halt.

Rising Dawn: Outside the Training Room: - Caim, Devon

Caim gave a simple nod to Flagurn as he sampled some of Mel's pancakes, but as Barakiel appeared, he paused, almost considering finding the Angel Killer in his armory... [footnote]See Angel Arc, when Lucifer appeared to the party before the Authors hit the AA-Verse for the first time.[/footnote]

Garm had arrived with Maka, David, Deadshot, Storm, Alpha, Edge, and Selena shortly after Barakiel appeared, and the wolf's hackles rose stiffly, a low growl in the back of his throat at the sight of the Angel standing before the party, [color=356D60]"Pack-slayers... Here?!"[/color]
[color=0E59E4]"Garm, please, don't. Over here, please."[/color]
Were it not for a quick mental prod between the rings from Teri, the wolf would have attacked the Angel on sight, and he merely padded to his Pup's side, the back of his fur still high as his eyes bore holes into Barakiel.

Teri was glad she noticed her wolf's arrival quickly, or else there would have been a very large mess that could have unfolded in more ways than one. [sub](Not to mention her job security could be shot, even with The Boss[footnote]An affectionate nickname for God. Not related to Ronald's Boss[/footnote] being her source of orders, assaulting an Angel could have some serious consequences indeed; especially after a previous fraternization with the Devil himself.)[/sub] That and the sight of one of the Archangels made her want to appear very small, which Icarus and Chris were doing far more successfully. The most Teri could do was cling to her Winter Wolf companion and hope that after Barakiel said whatever wanted said, he would go away as quickly as he appeared. Toyotama, on the other hand, was a bit more vocal about their shared feelings (even if she was only a mental presence), [color=0E59E4]"And then there was THIS asshole. Fucking hell, way to be a buzzkill, Angel dude. We just got home from Fuck-Crazy-Elder-Gods, and you're already here with an obligation. And this, Kiddo, is why I am REALLY starting to not like the heavenly flock. God gives us a choice about shit we will or won't do. These guys? 'Don't help us, or the world will be invaded!' As if we have a fucking choice!"
"Might as well bite the bullet and get over it. No use in yelling when he's already here and giving the orders."
"Doesn't stop Us from being pissed about it."
"Fair enough."
[/color]

Caim, on the other hand, was not amused at all by The Archangel of Lightning beseeching him and the others to do more work; especially after the last divine being that asked for their help ended up getting two of their friends killed by his mission,
Code:
"This sounds [u]awfully[/u] familiar; 'Help us Rising Dawn, we're up to our ears with dealing with whatever crisis!'...At least you have more manners than that 'Michael' your group sent last time. So, who do we have to kill to get the job done? Or is finding that part out a part of the job as well?"
As for Angelus, she only gave a proud laugh towards Barakiel's admittance toward's a dragon's strength, "Pfft, impressive is a bit of a lacking word, if you ask me. But, as my companion says, go on. It seems to be our job to do the next 'world saving' venture every so often, isn't it?"

The Crew

Vash chewed slowly. A few crumbs dribbled from his mouth. "How bizarre," Vash said. He gave the motion of continuing the thought, but ultimately regarded the concept of finishing his vocalization as a superfluous, and so he kept those thoughts to himself. Yet his comment was now only more cryptic than before, it begged to be asked what he thought was bizarre. The answer, was less than satisfying. Vash thought it was bizarre that he was eating a donut, since, as far as he remembered, and that was not too far, he did not ever go about obtaining a donut. There was a pause in his train of thought, and the sudden realization of intellectual inquiry boggled his perception of reality.

He turned to Blackharte and looked at the blob pitifully, "This isn't Gunsmoke is it?" BlackHarte's silence was more than an ample answer. "This is Earth then?" Vash's second question was just as useless as the first, and the answer presented itself promptly and boldly. His voice shrill and his eyes carried the momentum of genuine surprise. He threw his donut up into the air and screamed out at the top of his lungs...

[HEADING=2]"THE EARTH IS BEING INVADED!? BUT I JUST GOT HERE!"[/HEADING]

In his grandiose gesture of surprise, his donut dropped lazily to the floor and crumbled into a pile of sugar-dust. He looked down and then screamed again, "My donut!" A truly awful day it was. Transposed into a world he had never seen before, in a time he wasn't sure, that it was being invaded by aliens, AND he dropped hi donut.

It was nearly enough to send Vash into catatonic shock. But of course, being the upstanding individual that he was, it didn't. Instead he stood up and announced meekly to everyone present, "Do we KNOW for sure they want to attack us? Maybe they're here to deliver a friendly neighborhood flower package?"

If it were possible for the light in David's eyes to get any dimmer than they already were, then they would have certainly gotten a hell of a lot more when he looked into the room filled with familiar and not-so-familiar (in a sense) faces. Some of them he was "glad" to see. The others? Not so much. Or at all, really.

[color=9BBED5]'...Huh. So this is what it feels like to lose your faith in almost everything you ever believed in,'[/color] The student mused to himself sardonically, before he was snapped out of his thoughts by Vash's unrestrained shout. He cringed at the man, knowing all to well where he's from, and glanced out the window of the canteen, watching as the ship soared through the clouds. The student himself looked as if he was coming to a decision.
Eventually, the Ashworth scion simply let out a sigh and stood by the side of the door, doing his best to make himself appear as inconspicuous as possible to the Canteen's current occupants, and keeping his twitching to a minimum. Though if he wanted to do that, he probably should have stepped out of the door into the hallway, and right out of their line of sight. Still, you can't exactly blame the young lad for acting like this. His mind is still quite addled from his recent experiences, after all.

James yawned as he walked about the ship he now found himself in. He had to say, being able to see an
actual space ship for himself was one heck of a treat. He'd grown up watching the Star Wars movies and
always wondered what it would be like to zip around in a Milennium Falcon or dogfight in an X-Wing Fighter.

Of course, the less said about the sequel/prequel movies, the better.

But seriously, he was like a kid in a candy store right now...until he remembered that he was on
a mission, not to sightsee and geek out. As such, he composed himself and got to work on getting
the Elemental Tarot in order.

"Let's see...Sun, Moon, Star, Temperance, Fool, Magician, Judgement, World...looks like everyone's
here.." He heard a voice in his head and sighed,"Yes, yes, I know you want a chance to get out and
stretch your legs but you heard what Edge said about "restraint" and "self-control" and what not,"

"Also, he's a ninja, and I know better than to piss off a ninja..don't worry, you'll get your chance soon."

He let his mind wander as he walked about the ship.

Selena was trying to keep to herself when suddenly a strange man approached her wear just a towel
"...How you doin'?..."
Selena rolled her eyes
"Ok hotshot, how about you cool off" She aimed her wand, a cold wind hit him forming a layer of frost. She turned away from him, then again that was quite literally the cold shoulder.
She looked around, she could see almost everyone seemed to be angry to see the strange angel.

Icarus was focused on staying hidden, Seeing Barakiel made him want to talk to him, but he wasn't sure if this was the right time. Of course he could communicate with him like last time but he suspected that doing so would be seen as a misunderstanding also he didn't want to break his illusions by drawing such attention.

(Arc post, after next post we start this thing and I'll give the rightful reigns over to Ninja!)

Archangel Barakiel and all active characters for the next arc.
Location: Rising Dawn.
Time: Midday.
Looking lightly over the group, he could almost cut the tension like butter. At least the new people in the room had refreshing reactions to his being, one even hid under the table and another looks as if the Archangel punched a hole through something important. "That is apart of the job too. Seeing how UNIT and I received this information late and they sit ready to come at us, it would be better if you all leave ASAP." He responded to Caim, whose Angel killing sword still remains in good memory.

Grunting a little in annoyance, he hated to remember the whole incident. A Shadow Demon of all things that got to him. Seeing how Caim told him about Michael, Barakiel took a casual look. "Ah ... they sent Michael last time. Well, it could have been worse." He tried to sound a bit more confident in his comrade and brother, but he knew how the Fire Archangel reacts. Taking a deep breath once more, he just wanted to get this done with, "But in all seriousness ... I know you have been through this many, many times, and this time you get barely any rest. Sorry once again, but I think we all know that this crew is tied to this world's fate ... but that is all I see. It would be better to do this, than rather allow that army to come in and possibly recreate many bad events."

Trying to relax a bit, the Archangel ended up sighing. Some slightly bad thoughts came to his mind but he ignored them. Responding to the new and energetic member of the crew, he smiled, his eyes gazing over Icarus who was close to the man. "Would you want to find out? They have mass amounts of technology, some I haven't even seen before. I doubt they come here to spread love and peace ... and with a fleet of their size, it is definitely an invasion. I would rather risk doing this, rather then possibly having the world destroyed." Barakiel responded to the blonde man, almost uttering the word "again" at the end of his sentence.

"If that is all, I suggest you get ready ... as I said, I need to send you ASAP, each second we spend is another lost to them. I am here for questions, but whenever you are ready ..." Barakiel sped his look to Rugal. "the Captain should tell me, then I will ... activate this outside the ship ... " Barakiel said while pulling a weird alien-like object out of his shiny coat.

"This is a new technology, it will not just send you to their world, but it will send you back before this alien fleet left. God's Speed." Barakiel said, his last words hanging as if he remembered something he regretted. As the crew knew, there was a lot he regretted. Leaning backwards on the table with the machine in his land, he looked up and smiled. "At least you are not in any more pain." He said to his far distant former partner. Which he had not only hurt, but many people in this room, mostly physically of course.

Storm and
Code:
Alpha
Gently passing through the crowd, the two heard exactly what the Archangel said. Knowing that this is their official commanding officer, they both gave formal salutes before rushing out of the room. They know the authority he had, and when the Archangel of Lightning says something is bad and he cannot handle it with UNIT, it means it is really bad. Barakiel smiled at the two as they left, as if he had seen two friends that he cared about, but they both knew he missed Tomoya.

"Destination one. Hanger, I will equip my armour, miku, you ready for disconnection from the ship and your physical body. Where we are going, I don't want you to be hurt or too far from me." The superhuman in the trench coat muttered to the AI beside him, his voice consisting of worry and command. Alpha was about to speak up with a rather aggressive tone, but decided to stand down, this was not asking, it was an order.

Biting her lip she looked to her own partner, still trusting him fully. "
Code:
[color=nvayblue]Okay ... [/color]
" Is all she muttered back, the two arriving at the hanger and gathering their gear together.

Alright children, STORY TIME.

Before anyone could respond any further to Bararkiel's proposal, the device activated in his hand. Within a flash of blinding light the room (and ship) was emptied. ...Only to be follwed by the ship as well. Barakiel was now left floating in mid air exactly where the Rising Dawn used to be. But that's the Deus Ex Machina for you isn't it?

The group were now sent across the multiverse, through the zone between realms, a bizarre place that can be percived in a myriad of ways. In this instance, of a series of figures in a vagely defined room, spriting back and forth. Voices could be heard shouting, arguing, ranting, ordering, it was impossible to decipher what anyone was saying in this chaotic choir. Except for one, "Look, can someone get camera three working?! We need it for the establishing shots! WHERE IS THE NEW SCRIPT!?" "Right here Sir!" "......Alright, maybe we can salvage this trainwreck. Okay, is Scene #11 ready?" The light now intensified once again, the end of the crossing had been reached.

And Cue Music...

Our cast had now arrived once again in the world of Gilead, a parallel to the Earth. Only in the 19th century, and the frontier was a hell of a lot bigger, and with more magic, (though does this suprise you?). The Rising Dawn was now slpit into two groups as they materialised.

[HEADING=1]We present to you: The Wild Weird Western: Take II[/HEADING]

Right, so this arc as you know is a repeat of one I attempted to do before. To cut to the chase, I'm placing you all just before I had to drop it.

For anyone new/joined after this arc happened, here are the two plots so far, they are both connected to the fleet that is poised to invade the AA realm:

The Ballad Of StoneRidge/Rockridge The Rising Dawn has chosen to assist a town currently under siege by bandits backed by unknown interests. The group have arrived on the outskirts of town, now planning how to go in. However, they will soon see there is far more at stake than just one town....

The Long Game A James Bond/Metal Gear pastiche. A few of The Dawn, Angelus, Jenny, David, and Melethia, were approached with investigating a company, Luas Lasrach, for being possibly being linked to manufacturing war machines and selling them off to gangs and criminal orcagisations. But given the forces that now threaten the AA realm, is that all that is happening in the shadows?

The first one is the main plot, but feel free to join either really. The first is a simple straight up adventure/action arc.

Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge

....Now where was I?

Fionn, the Gun Mage who joined the Rising Dawn after being exiled from this realm and now taking his chance of his return to set many things right, was surveying the besiged town of Stonebridge [footnote](Yes I know I called it Rock Ridge in the previous attempt at this, just go with it)[/footnote], thinking on a possible strategy to get into the town without anyone getting hurt in the crossfire. It was sunrise and he was thinking of they should attack under cover of night. As he turned to face the others, he noticed they had disappeared.

...Only to re-appear again before his eyes, having gone on many other adventures. With more members. "Ah! So you got re-inforcements, great! Now whose up for a gunfight? " For tThe Rising Dawn it had been months since they had seen him. For him, it had been about five seconds. You'd think seeing the group you were part with disappear then reappear with more people would shock him, but he was used to it at this point. For anyone who had joined the Rising Dawn since their first incursion to Gilead, Fionn's getup said it all. He had the getup you'd expect to Gandalf to wear if he was a federal marshall, he was a gunslinger mage, and that conveyed damn near everything of what to expect from this world. At first anyway...

Meanwhile, on a train heading towards Blackwater City

Angelus, Jenny, David, and Melethia now found themselves sitting in a train car, Angelus now in human form. Luckily for them, there was no one else on the car they were in, except one Ticket Inspector who was about to go about his routine. However the sight of four people disappearing and then reappearing convinced him to go on break for the next hour. Or Five. If they could recall, they were asked to investigate Dean Solitaire, the apparent head of The Luas Lasrach Rail Company for possibly assembling mechs and constructs for the Black Market. Perhaps they were behind the fleet that appeared in the AA realm....

Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge

Chris refrained herself from swearing as Jenny contacted her mind, not having expected to be spotted so easily. At least she'd kept her contact mental, rather than calling her out verbally. She looked up at the Gardevoir, her mouth opened to whisper a reply...

Then the world changed around her.

She had been looking up, towards Jenny, but now her eyes were pointing east. She flinched as the rays of the rising sun hit her eyes. She fell to the ground, her eyes covered by her hands that had been supporting her in her crouching position. "Ow, damn damn damn!" After a moment, she rose back to her knees, her hat slung even lower to hide her eyes from the unexpected light, the dark blush on her cheeks lost in the shadows from the hat. "Um... sorry..." Her watery, irritated eyes looked from side to side as she wondered where she'd found herself now.

(The Ballad Of StoneRidge) Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge: Rugal/Deadshot

Rugal instantly felt the change in temperature as he was brought from the cool air conditioned Canteen to the hot arid desert of Gilead, the last place he was expecting to end up when the Arch Angel teleported them.
"Ah! So you got reinforcements, great! Now whose up for a gunfight?" He heard a familiar voice say much to Rugal's surprise.
"....Fionn?...But How-I mean...Why are we back here?...The Invasion stemmed from here? Impossible!" he stammered, seeming to be extremely confused as he glanced around the desert environment, actually taking a moment to drink in the sights this time.
"...So that's what it looked like..." He hushed under his breath, the last time he was here, he was blind!
"...Yes!...R-reinforcements! So...Why-...Don't you explain the situation to our Newcomers? I managed to call a few favors but I wasn't able to entirely fill them in on the situation." He then said to the Gunmage, partly to help ease the transition, but mostly so he could try to recall what they did here the first time.

Deadshot meanwhile was much startled by the transition as he stood around in his usual Maroon Jumpsuit instead of his bathtowel, guess the director couldn't sneak his sexy body past the censors.
"...I thought we were fighting Aliens?..." He asked as he looked around what appeared to be the set of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly."
"...Wasn't there a movie about this once?..." He mused as he checked his gear, finding his guns and armor all in their proper locations, but there was something missing: The Unlimited Credit Card Philemon gave him
"...Where is my Credit Card?....Where is my Card?!...OH DON'T TELL ME IT'S STILL ON THE SHIP!?!" He began fanatically screaming as he began checking all his pockets, finding nothing but his crack bowl and some empty syringes.
"AlrightAlrightAlright, w-w-where the hell did we park the ship?! I REALLY need to go back to my room-C-CAN ANYONE HERE FLY?! THE ALIENS CAN WAIT, THIS CAN'T!" He began asking, he didn't go though all that hell just to lose his card before he could even use it!

(The Long Game) Blackwater City Express: David/Jenny

David was about to tell Barakiel to wait a second for them to get ready, after all, he thought he would be heading in to an Alien Planet, but the device went off before he could.
"-Whoa, the fuck-....Wait....This isn't Halo?..." He mused as he found himself in some kind of train carriage, there was something familiar about it.
"....Hang on...Isn't this-Huh?..." He was going to ask until he found a old looking leather file on the chair next to him, open on a page listing the details of a man named Dean Solitaire-
"BLACKWATER?! He sent us back to Blackwater?! I-i-i....YES! HE SENT US BACK TO BLACKWATER! WOOO!" He then cried as he remembered the last time he was here, in the one place where his talents could really shine.
"Oh man!...Wait...How the hell does a 18th century Realm develop enough Tech in order to build a Space Fleet?..."
After he asked that, he went around to see who else was on the rain.

Jenny meanwhile gasped in fear when the device went off before finding herself in her seat back on the Blackwater Express.
"Chris!-....W-wha-?....Why am I-...Hello?...Anyone here?" She began to ask, wondering why the hell she was back on this train of all places.
She instantly got her ring out before sending an open message to anyone who could answer "Hello?...If there is anyone out there, please answer. It's Jenny, I'm on a train heading to...Blackwater was it? Just whoever is there, please answer."
"...Umm, Hi?"
Near instantly, she got a tap on her shoulder that nearly made her jump out of her skin as David let her know he was standing right behind her.
"OH-....David, what the hell!?"
"Hey, you said answer!"
"Gah! Nevermind. Where are the others?..."

(The Long Game) Blackwater City Express: David/Jenny, David A.
The student blinked, wondering what the hell just happened. First, he was standing in the canteen of an airship, and now he was seated in a very familiar train, his bookbag on his lap. He has been moving from universe to universe, but this one in particular he remembers very well.
The fact that this place was the first universe he ended up in after his mishap back home certainly helped. Well, that and mostly because the last he remembered of here was him getting dragged into an alley and was beaten into a pulp. He looked around the train, his grip on the wooden armrests of the seat tightened. He could see that some of the crew from the canteen ended up over here as well. The grip on his seat eased some what, and he slumped into his chair with a sigh.
[color=9BBED5]"I hate this."[/color]

"Gah! Nevermind. Where are the others?..." At this, the student lazily raised an arm into the air to signal his presence to her, before letting it drop back onto the armrest with an audible thump.

(The Ballad Of StoneRidge) Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge

In a flash of light, Boss and Edge found themselves in the middle of a desert, along with...some of the crew of The Rising Dawn. Not all of them. Boss wasn't sure he recognized them, but...

Rugal Edge thought, narrowing his eyes. Of all the people to still be on the ship...how is he not dead yet? In the background, the lunatic started screaming incoherently.

"AlrightAlrightAlright, w-w-where the hell did we park the ship?!" Deadshot said. "I REALLY need to go back to my room-C-CAN ANYONE HERE FLY?! THE ALIENS CAN WAIT, THIS CAN'T!"

Boss slowly began to raise his hand, but Edge grabbed it. "No." Edge said.

Boss yanked his arm out of Edge's grasp and scowled at him. "I'm up for a gunfight." Boss said. "Are telekinetic mind-bullets allowed?"

Edge instinctively went to touch his swords-but they weren't there. Crap... Edge thought ...I left them with Violet, didn't I?. He checked his throwing stars-eight left in his belt, and ten in his emergency pouch. FUCK Edge thought again. "...I'm gonna need a couple guns." Edge said. "If you have some to spare."

"He'd also like some swords if you have them." Boss said. "Or just hard metal, if you have some to spare."

[color=006566]Goenitz[/color]
Location: Hell, Somewhere off the beaten track between Violence and Fraud
Time: ???
Music: In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins (Live)
[color=006566]"~And I can feel it. Coming in the air tonight...oh lord...
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life...oh lord...~"
[/color]

As the fires of hell raged on around him, Goenitz of the Heavenly Wind didn't pay much heed, though he did have to use a lot of his control over the wind in order to remain comfortable as he examined some of the local infernal flora with a viewing glass.
It was rather strange sight for any on lookers, an Arch Angel in the bowels of hell, listening to some music on his tape Walkman (Vintage 80s!) as he did what amounted to picking flowers as he scraped what little plant life could consist down here into a glass test tube.

[color=006566]"~Well I remember, I remember, don't worry, how could I ever forget
It's the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, oh no you don't fool me
Well the hurt doesn't show, but the pain still grows
It's no stranger to you and
-OOOF!"[/color]

Right before he could get to everyone's favorite part of the song, a Pink demon raced though, shoving him to the ground in his rush.
[color=006566]"Hey, I know you aren't the most social creatures, but at least try!"[/color] He complained as he finally noticed something was up.
Taking off his headphones, he noticed the lack of the usual hell-spawn in the area, not that they give him much trouble in the past, but it was...jarring to see a lack of them.
As he looked around, he saw the pink one meet up with a few of his friends before racing off to one of the deeper circles with a few others in tow, something was up.
Putting away the vial and his Walkman, he then began to slowly follow them, curious as to what was going on.

The bright light filled his own vision, yet Barakiel knew what was going on. The world around him turned to normal and he was left floating with his large wings out. " ... I should have mentioned that it was a prototype." He muttered to himself before shrugging, hoping that the group was well prepared before this sudden transportation. ("Well with whatever happens ... God Speed Rising Dawn, you are going to need it." He gave a thought before looking up.

"Welp ... better be getting back. We have a lot to do." The Archangel said before instantly bursting into electricity and shot upwards towards the sky.

Storm-1788,
Code:
[color=nvayblue]Alpha[/color]
, Wanderer, Chris, Deadshot, Rugal, Boss, Edge, and others.
Location: (The Ballad Of StoneRidge) Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge:
The world felt like it fell, or rather just suddenly became stripped away from existence. The views seen by the Spartan and his suit AI partner were confusing, enough to even activate the helmet shutters and noise muter to avoid any dangers this might present. Another world appeared in front of them and the suit disabled its hazard tech, the new world felt extremely familiar, grunting off the world trip the Spartan saw the figure in front the group. It was Fionn, a familiar member to the Rising Dawn, and one that the Spartan was not fond of.

Almost grinding his teeth, he looked around and saw a some of the people from the dawn. "It seems some of us have become separated." Storm said to the group, noting the new Dawn member, Chris. "
Code:
[color=nvayblue]I don't know what to say about this ... [/color]
" The AI said within the helmet while examining the scene herself. Storm allowed Rugal to handle the situation, since he was about to get the whole thing from the Angel Killer.

The large Spartan was quite tall in the group, Rugal was a little taller, but this was not expected for he was once of the shorter members of the Spartans, yet this allowed him to have speed on his side. The armour Storm wore was quite, colourful, not to mention chunky. It would not aid a stealth assault unless at night.

Wanderer

For Wanderer it was a whole other experience. For someone who been in virtual reality war simulations, abducted by aliens (and shortly after killing all of them and taking the spaceship over, he started his own galactic faction), torn apart and teleported, this was quite different. It was as if someone pulled the rug out from under you, and now you were free-falling through both time and space. Most of the time the Wanderer was screaming, sure, by now he was used to the sensation of travelling to another world by ship, but not falling.

By the time the new world was already around him, the insane(?) loner was still screaming.
"Aaaaaaaaaaah, all I wanted to give everyone shots!" He screamed to the ground, tasting the desert dust in his mouth. Looking around and seeing some of the Dawn members around him, he spat out the dust and picked himself up. "Oh god ... I don't want to do that again. I swear it sounded like the film-set of "The Room"." Wanderer said while gripping his stomach, as if he looked sick or punched in the gut.

Looking quickly at Fionn, he noticed the style of this place. Nodding to himself he walked to the back of the group, out of sight, and quickly came back in another uniform.

The outfit looked like as if he were a Sheriff from a town a billion miles away.
Yet the two black revolvers with golden trim by his side looked extremely professional.

Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge

Caim looked around in confusion when he was brought to the Gilead, especially upon noticing that his pact partner (among some others) had suddenly disappeared from their group. 'Sending' a message in alarm to Angelus, Caim looked about quickly as he gave a silent headcount of those he knew before he got a response back, and visibly relaxed. Unsheathing his sword when Fionn mentioned a battle, Caim's PDA spoke for him,
Code:
"I just got a message from Angelus. According to her, herself and several of the others are on a train to a placed called Black-Water. My guess is that's where a portion of where our spirited away allies went off to. Knowing our luck, we're bound to run into them again. Now..."
Pointing his blade to Fionn in acknowledgement, Caim's PDA continued,
Code:
"You. You mentioned a fight coming up. I could let off some steam. Any catches? There's usually a catch."
After they were brought to the new world, Teri's next moment of consciousness was greeted with her riding atop Garm in what looked like a desert. The heat immediately overtook the two, prompting the cleric to give a quick incantation and place a finger on her wolf's brow.
Code:
Teri casts Endure Elements [http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/endureElements.htm], which gives 24 hour protection against extreme heat or cold!
Garm sighed in relief and looked around in curiosity,[color=356D60]"Ah, that's a lot better. Where are we again?"[/color]
"Ah! So you got reinforcements, great! Now whose up for a gunfight?"
The wolf's head drooped at the sound, memories of this realm slowly coming back, [color=356D60]"oh. I remember this place. It's the hot place with all the sand. It's course and it gets everywhere! A tundra would be nice, soft snow to pad on and-"[/color]
Before her lupine friend could ramble on about the tundra, Teri gave Garm a light tap on the head, [color=0E59E4]"Garm? I think we're getting off topic here. First things first, as some of are noticing, we're missing some people. Second, our airship is missing; and third, we're about to enter a battle-[/color]
[color=3897E0]
Code:
"And Ms. Vermilion is going to be very upset about my sudden disappearance as well!"
[/color]
[color=0E59E4]"Erm- That too. Anyways, could you focus a little, Garm, please?"
"Not to mention someone's messed with my spells... You notice anything, Sadei, Tama?"
"Maybe Big Man Upstairs did somethin'? Barakiel is one of His workers after all. Anyways, I kinda remember this place. Something about bandits?"
"That sounds about right... I'll ask Fionn about what's going on."

"Um, anyways, Mr. Fionn, could you give us a brief for our operation, please? Such as a plan of attack, or other relevant info?"[/color]

Meanwhile, on a train heading towards Blackwater City

Angelus awoke with confusion, Kingsblood sheathed at her side, and her mask stowed away safely. Looking about, she saw that a few of their number were on the train as well (not to mention the large number that were currently missing; her pact partner included). However, that split-second of uncomfortable silence in her mind was pierced two-fold by Jenny's and Caim's voices rebounding in her mind,

"Angelus, where are you?! You and some others suddenly disappeared on us!"
"Hello?...If there is anyone out there, please answer. It's Jenny, I'm on a train heading to...Blackwater was it? Just whoever is there, please answer."

One hand clutching her head with a groan, the dragoness stood up and waved the other, "I'm here; no need to panic. That's the last thing we all need in an unknown place..."

As she began to wander toward Jenny and David's section of the train, Angelus contacted her pact partner again, "Caim, according to Jenny, we're en-route to a place called Black-Water. From what I can see, I'm with Jenny, West, that other David we met some time ago, and I think I saw Melethia. I haven't seen anyone else so far. I have the mask with me, so you shouldn't be worried about me. Just keep an eye out on Devon, if anything else. I'll keep in touch."

Luckily, Slindis, Chris, and Ella landed near Chris. "Chris, just follow us and we'll get you up to speed..."

Devon then glanced to Ella. [color=00c863][small]"Who's the new drow?"[/small][/color] However, a sharp glance quickly cowed the bard as she saw Slin greeting Fionn.

[color=c200]"We do, but I like us striking at night a bit more. Thoughts, Caim?"[/color]

Although being on the train by itself nearly knocked her on her feet, but she was saved by stumbling into Jenny. "Sorry, Miss Jenny. Didn't mean to stumble into ya! Fionn noticed Chris and Deadshot, "Ah, well hello to you too!" he said in a playfully sarcastic tone. "So, I'm guessing a few things happened in the few seconds you all were gone eh? I guess I should take this as par for the course. I'm Fionn Fandango, I come from this place. Well not this exact place. I'm guessing things here are a little more serious then given all the new people."

"AlrightAlrightAlright, w-w-where the hell did we park the ship?! I REALLY need to go back to my room-C-CAN ANYONE HERE FLY?! THE ALIENS CAN WAIT, THIS CAN'T!"

".....I see." Must have been a hell of an adventure. Realising that Deadshot probably wasn't exactly in a state for planning right now, Fionn decided to focus on what Caim was saying, noting where the others went, though he thought that's what they were doing anyway. Rather than dwell on the confusion he just shrugged and discussed the situation.

"I have no doubt ye'd batter them in a straight fight. Though I don't think it's going to be that simple, for one thing we've to consider the townsfolk. I don't think they'll take too kindly to the collateral damage if we let loose."

[color=0E59E4]
"Um, anyways, Mr. Fionn, could you give us a brief for our operation, please? Such as a plan of attack, or other relevant info?"[/color]

Operation? Do I look like a General or something? I thought we were just going to shoot some wanted men? Since when was I the grand tactician?! Fionn was taken a slight aback by Teri's formality, while he was an ex-military man, he wasn't used to being referred to in such a manner, the sudden promotion put him off his guard. He pointed to the town for her and anyone else paying attention to him to take a look.

There were men stationed on each of the drills, probably snipers. The rest were more than likely either with hostages inside the houses, or patrolling. They looked semi-professional. "...Well I'm guessing we out-power and outgun them by a clear mile..." Compared to the Angels, this should be a cake walk.

[color=c200]"I like us striking at night a bit more. Thoughts, Caim?"[/color]

Fionn gestured Caim and Slindis to walk over, "A night time offensive would make sense", he explained, trying as much as possible to sound professional. He was fully aware that Slindis had him beat in terms of experience, "But we have another problem with that." He passed a telescope over to Slindis, pointing to an old fort in the distance, about half a mile away:

There was what looked like a small platoon of men around the fort, what looked like a siege. They could hear the sounds of distant gunfire. A small distance away from the fort itself was what looked like two mages in semi-stereotypical wizard getup, sort of like Fionn himself. They looked to be working on something on a table. "Probably moved in on The Fort just as we got here. I'm guess they're brewing something to blow one of the walls open. Whoever they didn't capture before must be holed up there."

As they discussed their options, Edge heard what sounded like someone whisper "Stranger, you need guns? over here....", a man disappeared behind a large rock, away from the rest of the group.....

On a train approaching Blackwater

The ticket inspector was now trying to work up the courage to walk into the car with the group inside, Why do I always get the psychos!? Alright, alright, just breeze past them, they won't go after you! Not again at least... The inspector gulped then dashed into the room, not even giving them eye contact.

"Alrighteveryonegotyourtickets?Great!NextstopisBlackwaterwe'reapproachingthecityandwe'llbethereinafewminutesthankyou!" He opened the door lighting fast and disappeared.

Now the city itself came into view, quite a contrast to the frontier towns they had seen, they were greeted with a semi-autonomous city-state on the horizon. Which totally isn't Lindblum from Final Fantasy 9 at all. Not in the slightest.

Nope, not at all.
