"Lets see Rambo do this!" ~Blade
Location: Not-So-Secret Base, Where-ever that is
"Oh shi-!" Blade reacted as he saw the incoming grenades, Bullets were one thing, but explosives were another.
Stopping his advance, he quickly backed up the nearest air vent before slashing the cover with his forearm blades and rushing inside it in time to avoid being fried and riddled.
Alright, command center, command center...Man, I wish they gave me blueprints... He thought as he shifty moved though the vents on all fours, his speed not stopping in the slightest.

Tomoya Okazaki. [sub][sub][sub]"Hurray for character development!"[/sub][/sub][/sub]
Location: Arashi Kendo Dojo | Hikarizara | Japan | (His own origin universe)
Time: Evening, setting sun.
The Cicadas chirped loudly, as the sun was on the edge of this world. A world that has seen much suffering, despair, and sadness, yet just like the infinite sea that is both good and bad, it also has a vast amount of happiness, hope, and comfort. One character has gone through all of this and more, with many others that are not of this world. This man was a lone figure, dripping his sweat onto the floorboards of the Dojo in the evening summer heat.

A simple wooden figure was in the middle of the room, suffering from blunt hits of the man. The Shinai was almost shaking in the hands, until blue hair was slowly drooping in front of his eyes. Shaking he quickly swiped the hair before instantly focusing on the wooden foe. "Yaah!" He yelled in determination, the final strike against the wooden dummy was launched. Examining his hit, the man known as Tomoya smiled, as the wood bent back, as if someone was snapping it.

Lowering his weapon to one hand and untying the loose bandanna, Tomoya examined the soaked patch that was at his forehead. "[sub]I don't get why people wear this ...[/sub]" He muttered, walking over to the Shinai stand, placing the weapon where it belongs. The usual feeling of eyes made Tomoya turn backwards, where a adult man with gray-ing long hair stood within a man kimono. The man slowly bowed and Tomoya did likewise.

"Mister Okazaki, as always, it is nice to see you practice." He said with a bright smile before treading into the room. The room itself was smaller than the main hall, yet newly built. Equipment lined the halls, also new. "Thank you Sensei ... as you usually say though, 'it would be impressive if my own students had this dedication'" Tomoya said back as he grabbed a towel from his bag, which was in a wooden closet with a name tag branded on it.

The Sensei of the Dojo laughed while waving as if he were trying to swat a fly. "Ahaha, I do, I do. As known though, you've bested everyone here ... including me." The man's smile remained, even when he looked at the broken dummy in the center of the room. Noticing his looks, Tomoya smiled back, "I can replace it, giving you the money to build this room has not drained my budget." He said while wiping the sweat of his face.

"We still think you are crazy for doing this, but all the same, we thank you as much." The old man bowed once again, with more of a serious face. Tomoya cringed a bit, "You don't need to do that, it was my honour to keep this place alive ... I needed room to practice anyway." Tomoya said, placing the towel back into the bag. The man rose before his smile came back, "I shall leave you now, but I'll leave you this here." the Dojo master said before placing some things on the ground, before walking out and closing the door.

Finishing the Japanese conversation, Tomoya removed his training shirt before walking over to the items. It was a letter attached to a small box, and a glass full of a light brown liquid. "Heh, that old man, worrying about me ... " Tomoya smiled and laughed as he said down beside the drink and began to read the letter.

The note attached said:
"Thought you would need this for the future. Invite me when it is time." :D

- Your local Author Shaun.
Surprised at the message from his partial so called "creator", Tomoya opened the small box attached to the letter. Suddenly his eyes widened and he gulped. Amazed that such a gift had been sent, yet something about the item felt familiar. Picking up the items, it was two rings with a almost unworldly silver coiling up to the gemstone, where a clear gem sat. This was not any gem, it was a stone, a stone that Tomoya knew all too well. "The Stone of Light!" He said loudly to himself. The two stones had been turned into two, both rings had a fashioned stone.

"Does he want me to ... " Tomoya said but stopped to blush. Him and his wife, Nagisa were married of course, but they have never had a wedding. "This ... this will do. Definitely, but first." The student of the sword said as he switched positions to a kneel, and his hands came together in a praying motion. Thoughts in his head began to come together before another voice interrupted them. ("My dear friend, let us talk!")

Suddenly feeling a pulling motion, Tomoya remained vigilant as his soul was transported to another place. A tube of light and dark clouds sped right past him, until his opened his eyes in a familiar room.

[hr]

Archangel of Lightning, Barakiel, and Spirit Tomoya.
Location: Storm Spire | Heaven.
Time: A forever set starry night.
The room was a room open to the air, a balcony surrounded the room, allowing the soft wind to brush in. Dark clouds swirled meters from the 360 balcony. This only told Tomoya that this was a tower, high above whatever below, he knew where this was though, a place he has been to many times, secretly of course. With the help of a former partner, Tomoya looked forward to see a familiar friend sitting on his desk, back to Tomoya, his face looking toward a multitude of towers made out of TVs, all active.

All but two were off.
One was of a classroom, a boy at a desk looking outside a window as his teacher talked. An Italian accent was thin, yet found.

"And man raged at the setting sun ... "

The other TV had a figure casually running away before turning around. An eye-patch covering his face, yet the boy's smile shined like Heaven itself. A soft but happy voice called ...

"I'm just a walking corpse."

The Archangel turned his attention to Tomoya, suddenly smiling as the TVs turned off. "Sorry about that, I called you here, yet it felt like the strings of fate were tugging." He said happily, taking himself off the desk and back into the weird office chair behind the white desk. "We always have so much to talk about ... "

The Siege Mages

[color=0E59E4]"Yes'm!"
"I'll be heading Caim and Ella's way after your spell. I trust you'll follow?"[/color]
Teri gave a determined nod to Slindis's statement, and focused her aura to reach those around her as she began the incantation for a healing spell. Slindis, Caim, and Ella began to feel the touch of Positive Energy beginning to course through them as Teri's aura reached out, and Slindis herself felt a further boost of healing energy with the touch of a finger on her shoulder. Following that, the Cleric drew another arrow from her quiver and held it as she made her way to Caim and Ella to get further healing to her comrades...

Code:
Teri casts Cure Serious Wounds, which heals for 3d8+15!
24 seconds till next 2nd level spell
42 seconds till next 3rd level spell
....Which Caim wasn't making any easier. After his teamup with Ella, and Rugal pummeling the daylights out of another mage, it looked like that the last one would be ripe for the taking. Giving Ella a wave of his blade in the Mage's direction, the warrior activated the magic that was stored in the sword [http://lparchive.org/Drakengard/Update%2012/29-swordsmasher1.jpg], turning himself invisible as he charge the straggler, leaping up and bringing his blade down on the ground before the mage, in hopes of knocking the mage off his feet for his comrades.

MEANWHILE

As the other bandits began to flee, Reginald the Lantern Archon gave a jolly, bellowing laugh, and saw his fellow Angel in arms above. With a teleport, the Archon appeared next to Icarus, [color=C0C000]"STUPENDOUS WAR-CRY, LAD! IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN ASSIST YOU FURTHER? MY TIME HERE IS SHORT."[/color]

Garm gave a solemn bob of his head when Devon explained over the rings why he was speaking in Elven, and answered back over his ring (more like bangle, really), [color=356D60]"I understand now. Sorry for possibly mucking up our stealth here... I'm gonna sniff on ahead, and you'll be first to know, so you can tell her."[/color]
As they crept into the chruch, Garm did what he could to stick to the shadows; and gave a deep sniff of his nostrils. If there was one thing he knew about humans, it was that their noses weren't nearly as good as his.

(The Long Game) Blackwater City: Business District : (David) West, Jenny, David A, Maka Albarn, Melethia, Angelus, Shinia Hatashi

Angleus curled a hand into a fist as she watched David literally walk up to the guards and began to talk about looking for "craic" and other. No doubt this was a nice establishment, and he was probably going to get them all thrown out if he wasn't careful.
"Think, Angelus, think...Hmn.. this is a place for nobles? When among mortals do as they do."

After a moment of contemplation, the dragon-in-human-guise gave a fierce stride up to the bouncers with David (if one is to play a noble, one has to have the attitude of one), and broadcasted to the ringbearers before speaking, "I'm not certain if this will work, but if it does; play along."
"West, what did I tell you about dress codes? If you don't play by the rules, you're going to have a hard time."

She gave a (faux) apologetic smile to the bouncers and continued, "Forgive my colleague's lack of social graces, he's more on hire for his abilities rather than his looks, and should be wearing a uniform; but someone needs to guard the impressionable young ladies and gentlemen when out and about, right?"

Sania followed the group around and could guess at the act that angelus was putting on. She had managed to grasp generally who the people were by the way they took things, and the woman didn't seems to be a noble. However, she walked up with her and had a smug smile on her face, like one of a spoiled rich kid. "Auntie, for my 18th birthday, I would like to try and gamble. Mommy and Daddy always gamble and now i'd like to." she said putting on a spoiled and rich girl act. "Plus, i might be able to win some more money for them teleportation scrolls i like so much. I know what you're gunna say, but it's not my fault the cat got into my last one..." she said, crossing her arms.

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge) Gilead, Stoneridge: Boss

Boss was aghast. He just ignored me... Boss thought. ************ just pretended I wasn't even here..

Boss teleported a few feet away from The Wanderer and trapped him in a psychic box. "I don't know who you are..." Boss said. "But you clearly aren't in your right mind." Boss turned around and walked towards the church. "Don't go anywhere."

Tomoya Okazaki | "Bystander"
Location: Arashi Kendo Dojo | Hikarizara | Japan | (His own origin universe)
Time: Evening, setting sun.
While Tomoya trained in the Dojo Room he was in, the rest of the students of this Dojo went on with their training. Well, most of them.
Next door, one of Sensei's how you would say..."Less Devoted" students was striking his dummy with his own Kendo stick.
However, it was clear from the fact he was striking while it was lying face down on the floor and how he was swinging the stick like a bat while it was on the ground that he had little interest in the art.
Though judging from his thuggish appearance and build, He most likely didn't need to learn sword fighting anyway.
His half assed attempts to learn the art stopped dead at the sound of a certain man.
[sub]"The Stone of Light!"[/sub]

Pausing from his assault on the poor dummy, he walked over to the divider in the dojo before peering his head into Tomoya's room right as he started praying, glancing at the box beside him and putting the pieces together.
Grunting before he deciding that he was done for the day, He lobbed his Kendo stick on the ground before pulling out his smart phone and texting someone, someone who was NOT going to like this development...

[color=006566]Goenitz[/color] | Ageha
Location: ???, ???, ???!
Time: About Midnight-ish
As he was entertaining his new guest, Goenitz's PDA suddenly let out a loud buzz on the table next to his lab equipment.
[color=006566]"Urggggg...Our Lord's work never seems to be done. Pardon me for a moment, do make yourself at home, but please refrain from touching any of the equipment."[/color] He remarked as he walked over to the table before picking up his Tablet, unlocking it before reading the contents.
[color=006566]"...!!! HE HAS WHAT?!..."[/color] Goenitz suddenly shouted, anger appearing on his face as he kept reading the memo on how apparently Tomoya got his hands on the Stone of Light once more.
[color=006566]...Barakiel...Of course you would do that...But why? Is he onto my plans or is he really that stupid?...[/color] He thought as his mind raced with theories on how Barakiel could find out about his operation.

Hitting send before sighing, he then forced a smile back onto his face as he re-entered the room.
[color=006566]"Apologies. It was from one of my followers. Everytime I underestimate my colleagues, they always seem to surprise me...And not in a good way...Oh well, Nothing worth getting worked up about. Wanderer, and the ignored [sub][sub][sub][sub]second[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub] Boss.
Location: (The Ballad Of StoneRidge) Gilead, overlooking Stonebridge:
Wanderer

After a minute of slowly jogging towards the reaping prize Deadshot, the currently evil-minded Wanderer suddenly slammed into seemingly nothing. "The fuuuuuuck?!" His loud voice said with surprise, his face crawled into a angry frown where he started wailing on the invisible wall. The fists were smashing against nothing, just his fists were beginning to bleed, as if he was an "extreme mime". Exhaling out of thin air, the current Wanderer suddenly stopped.

Looking at the Deadshot many meters in front of him, the Wanderer yelled, "Hey ... HEY! Why am I in here?!" He said, not even knowing that Boss had placed him in here, further ignoring the unknown man to him. Waiting for a couple of seconds, he did not know if this thing was soundproof. ("Yeah, I think we should switch. I got an idea.") His normal personality suggested with a light tone. "... fine. Tag." The darker personality said before the Wanderer's eyes returned to glowing blue behind his glasses.

The man in a box suddenly gripped his arm in pain. Grunting he turned to his arm and saw the bone sticking out. "You have to be kidding!" He said before thrashing his other arm into the coat and pulling out a needle and immediately stuck it into the arm. " ... ahhhhh~" He said relaxed, taking a few seconds to breath and allow the pain to flow out of the system. Knowing that the wound should heal over time, he once more pulled into his duster and came out with a shovel. Kicking the ground once, it seemed the box had no bottom and the only thing below was soft dirt.

So, the Wanderer had begun to dig once again, yet this time it was not his shallow grave.

[hr]

Archangel of Lightning, Barakiel, and Spirit Tomoya.
Location: Storm Spire | Heaven.
Time: A forever set starry night.
The clouds around the top of the spire danced as the pair talked, no sense of time was present. If Heaven did have a sense of time, they might have talked for hours, days, or even years. It is usual for the Archangel of Lightning to do much work just like many of his companions, brothers, and co-workers, some of his work even takes a unknown amount of time, so he is quite thankful that time does not mean much up here.

Looking across from his desk was his former soul companion, Tomoya Okazaki, not himself since he is suppose to be 'banished', yet he was here within his soul form, a customized soul form that sparked with electricity. The two had been in this kind of form before, when they were one and Tomoya was sealed away in the cave of the Blackhawke after a finale beforehand. Though he was freed after he guided a group of adventurers to the cave in a spirit form made up of stone and wind. That was something the Archangel of Wind would have not liked.

Looking at the older man in front of him, he held a glass of clear water. "Like the drink? It is a purer version of something your friend David had a while ago." The Archangel smiled as he held his own goblet filled of the same drink. The former Archangel and partner shrugged with a neutral face, "I'm not much of a drinker." Tomoya admitted. The Archangel yawned, "So much we have talked about, your soon coming wedding, your 'author', your future, and your feelings on the current situation. So much ... so much. Anyway, last question before I send you back, what about the vault?"

Taking a breath, Tomoya thought for a few seconds. "Same place as it has always been, no one except our fast trusted friend has a code." Tomoya said, trying to remember what was in there. "The other stones were in there ... you were collecting them again if I remember. But it should be good where it is, I'm glad we put one in there, and one of that calibre ... phew. Haha" the Archangel gave a laugh, remembering the many journeys they had made for the stuff inside the vault.

"Yes, he did say he would protect it with his life. Anyway, I'm off ... later!" Tomoya said before his form started to fade into nothing. As the chair became empty, the Archangel simply smiled. "Even without me he still has power ... hah, I should have known." He giggled before taking another sip, then the thought of work hit him and he groaned as usual.

Arashi Kendo Dojo | Hikarizara

Opening his eyes, the mild humidity came back to Tomoya, as a bead of sweat trickled down and fell off his face. Separating his hands, the swordsman got up and wiped his face and his body. Tomoya began to get changed into a familiar outfit, but one that he found comforting. It actually made him look younger then he actually is. Smiling to himself of the old fond memories, he opened to the door to see another student looking deeply on a phone, with the Shinai on the ground.

Almost wanting to look at the phone, Tomoya took one look at the student. He had a built body which covered and vision of the phone. ("Why do I have a weird feeling?") Tomoya mentally responded to his sixth scent, rolling his eyes he ignored them, he knew this world was safe. "Good work." Tomoya suddenly said as he came out of the smaller modern room, dressed in his former school summer uniform and a bag slung on his shoulder.

Tomoya began to walk by the lone student, almost curious to why he is here. Ignoring the thought, the bigger thought of seeing his family took priority.

As they approached the casino, Maka was certainly a bit out of her element. Understatement of the century right there. For one, she was wearing a DWMA uniform. Probably meant nothing at all to the guards in front, but she didn't look like the rest of the group at all, which wasn't going to help make any bluffing any more convincing. She could guess at the very least that the... interesting assembly in front of her, were trying to act rather smooth to talk their way in. These guys though? They were just guards, why would they stop anyone from going in and wasting money on gambling? Technically, she wasn't armed so much as she IS (or well, can be) an armament. Besides, when it comes to casinos (Which are basically fishing nets for tourist wallets.) It wouldn't be the worst thing to seem like being from out of the area. The guards would take control of a problem, not keep people out. So she just tried the best bluff. Saying nothing, causing no problems and walking in, and trying to seem quite unconnected to the rest of the group. (Which was by no means a hard thing to pull off. What were any of their names again?)

The guard snatched the ID cards out of David's hand, baffled at the man's date of birth being a century too early and the ID belonging to an organisation that wouldn;t exist for another several decades on top of that. Who was this guy anyway?

"Is this a joke? ....where did you get this card? "

UNIT HQ

Richardson was just finsihing the compiling of a report when he noticed he had run out of staples, sighing slightly before reaching for the phone to order more. He had been up for 72 hours straight and as the coffee wore off once again, he was now exhausted.

"For Office supplies press one"
"For paper, press one, for card, press two fo-" His head slammed on the phone, mashing the keys.

"Oh, s-sorry, just passed out there, hello-"

"Clearance level?" Unbeknownst to him, he had unwittingly accessed the US Nuclear Aresenal.

".....Commander?"
"You sure you want to launch this sir?"
"Launch!? I just wanted stap-"
"Wait, who is this?! What's your Clearance Number?!"
"Commander Richardson of UNIT"
"Hah! Yeah right, ID number then."

"Alright then son", he reached into his wallet to find his ID card...... which wasn't there.

"Heh, funny thing, I seem to have misplaced it, but if you just check the line, you'll see tha-"

"SECURITY BREACH, THEY GOT TO UNIT HQ"

The line dropped dead there. Richardson could hear the sounds of helicpoters coming in from the distance....

Meanwhile...

"Forgive my colleague's lack of social graces, he's more on hire for his abilities rather than his looks, and should be wearing a uniform; but someone needs to guard the impressionable young ladies and gentlemen when out and about, right?"

"Look, you two are fine, it's the underaged two I'm worried about.... You know what, fuck it, I'm not paid enough for this, go on in, but if I get so much as peep about the elf kid gambling, you're out on your asses got it?" He stood to the side, allowing the party to proceed to the casino foyer. Like anyone's going to care. He shook his head as Melethia and Shinia passed.

"Plus, i might be able to win some more money for them teleportation scrolls i like so much. I know what you're gunna say, but it's not my fault the cat got into my last one..."

"Fucking Tourists." The other bouncer walked over to him after the party left. "You want a drink after this? I doubt we're really needed at this point."

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge) Gilead, overlooking Stoneridge: Rugal/Deadshot

It'd be no suprise to anyone that Rugal's first punch to Gene's face knocked him out cold, dropping him to the ground and leaving his second in command at the mercy of several angry vigilantes looking quite, quite angry at this point. Seeing them rip through their minions didn't help.

"Um.... I don't suppose making a graceful accepance of defeat and leaving is out of the question?" He asked, his question punctuated by Caim's strike, catching completely unaware and knocking him out. "So that's a no then?......."

MEanwhile, Chris, Devon and Garm could now see into the church, there were a few of the townspeople in the corner, seemingly tied up. From the looks of it, there were no guards inside, it was probably the job of the ones outside to check on them.

Edge's proposal to the remining gunmen was met with a resounding "Fuck this" as they ran out of town, grabbing anyone unconsious with them they could see. Not out of camraderie, but a determination to not be tracked down. Fionn was about to whack The Wanderer in the head, but upon seeing his cooldown he slammed his gun right back into his hand and kept walking without missing a step.

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge) Gilead, overlooking Stoneridge: Rugal/Deadshot

With the Battle over and the enemy broken, Rugal was quick to get started on the clean up operation as he picked up Gene's limb body and put it over his shoulder.
"Okay, Someone send word to the fort that the town is secure and that we are friendly. And while you are at it, find the Sheriff and the Mayor, I want to get these ones behind bars and find out what was the reason for them being here." He ordered to the others, as if his position as Captain meant anything more then the room on the airship.
Once his demands were made, he then turned his attention back to Slindis and Teri, somewhat concerned for them after the battle.
"Hey, I say you take some hits in the battle, are you two alright? I wasn't expecting that shelling either..." He then asked, fussing over them, which would be more touching if it wasn't for the fact that:

1. Gene was currently knocked out with most likely a broken nose and a few busted ribs.
2. The skin on his upper body was riddled with bullets, most of which were still visible though his tattered Vest
3. One of his arms had a series of Icicles stabbed into it, slowly melting in the desert sun.
4. And his other arm looked it like it lost an Arm Wrestling Match with a Powerline.

Still, He didn't seem to mind it too much and it was the thought that counted, right?

Deadshot meanwhile was less then pleased when the enemy finally fucked off.
"HEY! YOU DIDN'T SEE A CARD DID YOU?! COME BACK-...Ahhh...They're not coming back. Typical French..." He grumbled as he kicked the corpse he had left on the ground after failing to find his Unlimited Credit Card.
Looking around the town, he then remembered that most of the townsfolk were either taken hostage or in the fort.
Glancing around for the others, he then began to start looking though the windows and at the general store for any trace of his card, possibly swiping some swag if he found some.

Somewhat taken aback by his sudden promotion(?) to "Bodyguard", David merely went along saying tot he bouncers "...Yeah...Tourists, am I right, guys?" before walking along in.
"Red, I had them on the ropes. We were connecting!...Though thanks anyway, kinda wish I thought of that." He sent over the rings to Angelus as he motioned the group inside the casino, going his best to look Bodyguard-y.
"Also, Fake Rich Kid (Sania), going to warn ya in advance, you blow my Fake Paycheck at the slots, I'm having your Fake Auntie write you out of her Fake Will. That's for Real." He then remarked to Sania, partly joking, mostly warning the newcomer against doing anything stupid.
Speaking of newcomers: "So, Maka, was it? Sorry about this, just keep going along and if you need anything, give me a buzz, Alright?"

Jenny meanwhile was keen to point out "Oh Don't worry, Little Mel here wouldn't DREAM of something like that, would you dear?" as she went with Melethia, holding her hand as part of her "Act" as a Older Sister, even though they had zero relation and she wasn't even human, let alone an elf.
"But seriously, don't even think about it. I'll know." She then mentally warned, getting somewhat overprotective to mask her own concerns of personal safety.

When the smoke cleared and the intruder was nowhere to be seen, the fireteam moved forward. As they moved they scanned all angles of attack for any signs of an ambush. When they got to the end of the hallway, the fireteam leader saw the broken air vent and radioed Yvette. "Ma'am, it seems the intruder has slipped into the air ducts. Recommend sealing vents and smoking him out. We are also sending a spider drone[footnote]About the size of a quarter[/footnote] for surveillance. The video feed will be sent to your tablet," the leader told her.

"[color=9A00FF]Good job Fireteam Charlie. Head back here and bring the other fireteams with you[/color]," Yvette told them before addressing everybody. "[color=9a00ff]Listen up, we are sealing all the air vents and pumping carbon monoxide into the A/C. I want everybody to grab a SCBA set and get to work. We don't have all day people[/color]," Yvette ordered them. Turning to her tablet that was connected to the facility, Yvette entered a couple commands into the system. One to open panels around the facility to reveal several SCBA sets and the other to seal the air vents with an aluminum plate. After that she executed a command to pump carbon monoxide into the A/C. She then switched to the video feed from spider drone as it crawled through the air ducts.

"Oh...great..." ~Blade
Location: Not-So-Secret Base, Where-ever that is
Blade was largely unaware of their plans as he began to make his way though the confusing layout of the base, trying to find a central shaft to enter.
"Come on, where the hell is it!?" he groaned, wishing that his orders were just to blow the place up, not dilly dally after weapon tech or whatever the hell they wanted.
His train of thought was quickly derailed by the fact his brain felt like it was going numb as well as his vision starting to blur.
"Urggggg...wha-....Fuck...poison...Bastards!..." he groaned as he began to frantically crawl like a rat in a maze, looking for an exit in order to get some Oxygen, finding nothing but dead ends thanks to the panels.
As his strength was failing him, he used his Forearm blades to cut his way back out of the vents, not caring what was awaiting him outside it.

(The Long Game) Blackwater City: Facilier Casino : (David) West, Jenny, David A, Maka Albarn, Melethia, Angelus, Shinia Hatashi

It wasn't even a few seconds into the casino that the group was caught up by a group of overly eager waiters.

"Welcome to The Facilier Casino, drink?"
"Slots?"
"Roulette Tables?"
"Another Drink?"
"Ballroom Dancing?"
"Blackjack?"
"Another drink?"

In the chaos of their enthusiastic "customer service", several of the party were scattered to random places through out the casino floor. Jenny ended up at a poker table with a straight flush, surrounded by players completely unaware of her powers...

Angelus wound up at a bartable facing the barkeep "What will it be madame? And how are you today?" Across the table there was a woman dressed in a poncho on top of a duster, slowly drinking a bottle of Whiskey while observing a game pf blackjack across the floor, her attention on a specific person. Her outfit looked like what David may have weared...

Shinia was now at a roulette table, somehow with a stack of chips worth 5,000 dollars. Compliments of the casino maybe? "Will Ma'am be making a bet?"

The Davids, Maka and Mel meanwhile were just escorted to the main floor without too much trouble, from here everyone else could be at least spotted. However something caught David's Mel's eye, among all these rich nobles and gullible tycoons one man stood out. At the Blackjack table there was a man in a checkered suit, looking right at home in the 50's.

"Hit me."
"20, Solitaire Wins."
"Naturally, baby."

Beside him was a woman, dressed in a suit with a muscular build, she hat just to the side of the man, a briefcase at her feet. She appeared to be his bodyguard.

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge) Gilead, Stoneridge: Edge/Boss

Edge was disappointed, but could not say he was surprised. Having some re-enforcements would have been nice, but...

"I guess that's a no..." Edge muttered under his breath. Seeing Fionn walking towards the church, Edge pulled one of his guns out and followed.

MEANWHILE...

"Hiya!" Boss said, meeting up with Chris, Devon and Garm. Seeing the townspeople tied up inside the church, he teleported inside and began untying them. "Don't worry;" Boss said. "I'm with Fionn. He'll be here in just a minute."

Take no action, especially [u]"That"[/u] one. Any attempts to be rid of him with the stone in his procession are far too risky. Besides, I need him alive for what is to come in the future. Keep an eye on him, I will visit him in person in the next few days. After that, we can consider our options.

Now then, if you wish, I could acquire a change of clothes for you?"[/color] He then said to Ageha, hoping she wouldn't dwell too much on the outburst.

Ageha has been watching the scene passively to take in all the events when she gave the archangel of Wind a slap on the head. "What are you, a rookie?! We both know that striking right now isn't appropriate, so why are you fixated on that? Pick the events you can control; find ammunition against him, undermine his alliances, strengthen your connections, ensure you are ready when you can strike."

After that, she took a seat on one of the tables in the lab, crossing her legs as she replied. "I know you have to keep appearances up for your long-term goals, so I'd just like a virgin Pina Colada. And if we are to be working together, some different clothes should aid. That and a new alias, but we can save that for a little bit later. Odds are the Abyss is reporting me dead, so that gives us time to work this out."

She'd also give some time to get her new clothes on, whatever they might be, as she perked an eyebrow. "Getting the groundwork set up now might not help even in the year, but the traditional Problem-Reaction-Solution paradigm still works on immortals. Most Angels don't think about it, so utilize it!"

Goenitz had a puzzled look on his face after Ageha began to assert herself, mostly at the fact that she had the nerve to strike him for his comments.[color=006566]"...it's more of a case that one of my colleagues has a fondness for a certain man. Granted, I understand where he is coming from, but this latest move is clearly emotion clouding his judgement. He seems to have given him something that wasn't entirely his to give so I'll just talk them into giving it back, No need for cloak and dagger just yet...For now, I'll see if I can find any Coconuts, Europe isn't exactly known for them..."[/color] He said as he went to her refreshment and a change of clothes, smirking after he turned the corner.
[color=006566]I'm starting to see what Lucifer saw in her...and why he changed his mind afterwards...[/color]

While he was gone, Ageha could get a good look at the "Living room" they were in, Outside of the Portal-Gate and the Makeshift lab, there was very little less to comment on.
That being said, there was what appeared to be an old picture frame beside the Lab-equipment and when I say old, I mean it, the thing looked almost 100 years old.
She couldn't make it out, but there seemed to be a man with his fam-

[color=006566]"-And here we are. A Virgin Pina Colada, Sans the umbrella sadly. And apologies in advance for the outfit, the hazards of buying these robes in bulk I guess..."[/color] Goenitz then said as he returned with her drink and what appeared to be a Female version of his trademark blue robes.
[color=006566]"How they managed to get that from "A wider chest", I do not know..."[/color]

Once she was changed, he moved onto the position of her new alias.
[color=006566]"I can have that arranged, No doubt you have some "Fans" from below who would look for you here. There is a old Convent that owes me a few favors, I could have some papers arranged within the week. but first, I need to take care of this "Wedding gift" situation first..."[/color]

Time: Evening, setting sun.
The young man shot Tomoya a dirty look before another text alert went off and got this attention.
Could just whack him now, blame it on the training, but noooooooooooooooo.... The kid sighed as he made his way out of the building, his shift of the watch was over anyway, Tomoya was Chris's problem now...

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge) Gilead, overlooking Stoneridge

Chris turned her head as Devon spoke, just in time to see the guard she hadn't noticed fall to the ground, obviously quite lifeless. She opened her mouth for a moment to protest, then shut it again as she realized she couldn't really argue with the necessity of the action - after all, Devon had just potentially saved her life. "Bel'la dos[sub]Thank you[/sub], miss Devon. Usstan... shinilja whol naut elhearin mina.[sub]I... apologize for not noticing them.[/sub]" She quickly patted down the guard she'd dragged over under cover, looking for any keys he might have carried, but someone this far back wouldn't have anything like that.

She'd already started heading towards the front of the church when Boss appeared, getting ready to reply before he teleported into the church and started untying the hostages. She chuckled softly at a joke only she seemed privy to, shaking her head as she made it to the front doors of the church, barred to keep people from just leaving. It was but a few moments' work to ease the plank of wood from the iron rests, then she pulled the doors open, staying careful to keep hidden behind the doors, trying not to attract too much attention to herself. Best to leave the actual dealing with the ex-prisoners to more personable sorts, after all.

(The Ballad Of Stoneridge): Caim/Teri

Before the Cleric could speak regarding her condition, the tablet on a strap bleeped to life, Dimitri speaking through it, [color=3897E0]
Code:
"Her Ladyship and User: Slindis' condition should improve so long as they remain within the proximity of the Healing Aura, Sir. Furthermore, User: Slindis has already seen to Her Ladyship's condition with a healing spell, a favor Her Ladyship returned as well."
[/color]
Teri gave a sheepish nod to Rugal's fussing, Dimitri haven spoken on her behalf and added in, [color=0E59E4]"I think you should be a little more worried about yourself, Dad. I would exert caution in getting those icicles out, they might have jagged edges and tear at your flesh some more if you take them out forcefully. Otherwise, I'd advise you stay within reach of my Aura, and some of it can be worn off."[/color]
Following that, she began digging through her satchel for her medical tools before descending upon the now KOed Mages. They didn't have to be in tip top condition, but Teri was going to see that those broken bones would be set and on the path to recovering properly before the bandits were to be turned into the proper authorities. That and Slindis would be more than able to handle any wounds the Cleric wasn't attending to.

As for Caim, he kept an eye out on the mages that Teri was attending to, keeping his blade at the ready in case any of them try to take advantage of the medic working on them. As he did so, he sent a message over the rings to those around them, "Mages taken care of. Any reports from the other districts in the town?"
As he awaited a response, Caim gave a solemn nod of acknowledgement to Ella; which, coming from her battle master, was something of a sign saying "Good job" to the Succubus.

Inside the Church - Garm

As Devon and Edge worked on getting the townspeople out of their bonds, Garm kept back, knowing full well that creatures of his species tended to frighten others; especially given his size. (Unless of course, he was called over for help), Garm wandered around the church and kept his nose to the air for any suspcious scents. So far, he could only detect the basics that made up a creature in fear; sweat, urine, salt... Nothing like rotten eggs or gunpowder so far. However, he kept a vigil as he moved about, and stopped when he noticed Chris staying near the back. Upon reaching her, his head tiled with curiosity and asked, [color=356D60]"I know that people are scared of wolves, but I don't know why they'd be scared of elves. Why are you back here with me?"[/color]

(The Long Game) Blackwater City: Facilier Casino : (David) West, Jenny, David A, Maka Albarn, Melethia, Angelus, Shinia Hatashi

There was only a moment's triumph as the group passed the bouncers, and Angelus was about to give congradulations to each of the party-

Only to be swept away by a group of overzealous busboys hopping to earn a tip or a raise from patron or employer alike. The next thing she knew, she was sitting at a bar and being inquired about a drink. Giving it some thought, she told the barkeep, "Some tea would be nice, if you have it. Something spicy. If not that, then I suppose a dry red wine would do."
No need to be getting one's self completely plastered while on a mission. However, the woman with the whiskey was another thing to consider. As the others were hustled in varying other areas, Angelus sent over the ring to David (West), "David, you wouldn't happen to know a woman in a duster, would you? I am seeing a woman in a similar uniform as your's... If not that, do you know if UNIT is sending anyone else with us?"
As she awaited her beverage (and West's response), the dragon-in-human-guise did her best to appear nonchalant around her quarry.
