Don't forget he'd be in fanboy godmode and would wipe out most the list.

Oh yeah, I forgot he was big on animu and would want to impress her. And she's only ten years old, so all the blood involved in that might lead to...complications. But those are good for the sake of a story.

Yeah, somehow I get a strange vibe of Puella Magi Madoka Magica....and this is BAD!!!
Maybe in the next Tournament, the "cat" from this anime make an appearance.

Because it just makes sense. The two great(est?) platforming heroes! Mario can ride Kirby, who can actually survive trick jumps in addition to eating things every bit as well as Yoshi. Throw in a few of Mario's suits and you've got serious potential right here.
