-Both are juggernauts of their genre.
-Both are neverending cash cows of unrivaled proportions.
-They fight for essentially the same reasons.
-They compliment each other well with Goku being unmatched in physical combat and Sakura being unmatched in magical prowess(in her own universe at least).
-Both are friends to all living things and are basically messiahs, with Goku actually bringing creatures back to life on occasion. Both also have a track record for befriending their foes(In Sakura's case, they aren't quite foes but rather troublemakers in most cases).
-Both are determinators of the highest caliber, with Goku having make the ultimate sacrifice twice over and Sakura
