I enjoy the forums and a good number of the videos presented here. I also like the ads, believe it or not. They're flashy and amuse me on a primitive level.

You cannot just cat-tank into 4chan.

Well I think the awesomness I was going to compliment has been mentioned.
I do commend the Troll hunters however, they keep the site trim and proper *salutes*
The trolls we do get are always invariably incompetent, too. Not that it matters because the mods are probably the most vigilant I've ever seen on a forum. They also don't ban arbitrarily, which is nice.

The forums!

I do love these forums... sure, they've changed a little, and trolls have started rolling in... but it still hasn't lost its touch quite yet!

Its a little bit like an elderly dog - sure, it doesn't jump around anymore, and its a bit wiffy, but its a faithful old companion who shall stick with you to the end :p

Easily the Community. best thing here. The fans and staff are so involved, everyone is so nice. I do admire the layout too, I have said as much to friends of mine in the past. Love this site, love its people, love its smug sense of superiority.

Zero Punctuation, Doomsday Arcade (when it was running), Unskippable, Escape to the Movies, Doraleous and Associates, and the community of the Forum Games and RP crowd (I don't dislike the rest of you, I just tend to spend my time in the FG and RP area, and as such don't know the people outside of it very well).
All of them are brilliant.

The fact that most of the community has decent taste in music, games and art in general.
I'm so sick of the fact that no one at my school knows who Blind Guardian, Scorpions, Guillermo del Toro, Francis Ford Copolla, Stanley Kubric, Salvador Dali, Shigeru Myamoto, Nobuo uematsu, or Ted Price are. Believe me I've asked....a lot.

Mostly I watch Yahtzee, Moviebob, and the Unskippable guys. Maybe I should make a foray into some of the other video offerings. Although I did watch an Apocalypse Lane episode, and I liked it.

Yeah, when he's not being a dick. Just kidding. Lets be friends.

I love this site because I get to have fun screwing around in a somewhat intellgient way. This post excluded.

Also, I love user groups, the forums are starting to lose their appeal for me.

I haven't actually had any run-ins with trolls thus far. But that's probably due to my measely double digit post count. You all shall bow before my Copy Clerk glory!

Oh, but...

*lower lip trembles as I clutch my worn-out flat cap to my chest*
Please, sah. I haven't a pence to me name! Kindly let me in! It's cold out here in the regular forums.

The members are intelligent, the staff are pretty cool (I get the whole ad thing, although it was perhaps a little harsh, I understand). I also like being in a big forum, it makes a nice change from the usual tiny ones I frequent/run.

5 out of 9 is pretty amazing! Which ones didn't you know? I'd forgive you Blind Guardian and Scorpions because either you like rock and metal or you don't. I must admit, Nobuo Uematsu isn't really that famous but he's the composer for most of the Final Fantasy series. Ted Price is the CEO and founder of Insomniac games (Ratchet and Clank, Resistance,...), which is one of my favorite companies because they're like a family to each other and they always put fun before money.

(If by some shade of awesome I summed up all the people you didn't know, pretend it's because of my ninja future sight and not because they're the least popular.)

Yay for ninja future sight! Although, yeah, those four are pretty obscure. I wouldn't call them "the least popular" per se. Just further removed from the majority of the public. Also, I'm not a big fan of metal, and haven't played any Final Fantasy game or anything by Insomniac, so it follows naturally that I'd be unfamiliar with them. Though I can respect a company that values their employees and their product's quality over profit.

Honestly? I love everything about this place.
The people are fun to hear from, the topics can usually entertain me, and user groups are an interesting place to hang out in.
I'm sure I've wasted at least a year on this site by this point.
