So anything?
Any... thing?
An... ime.
DID SOMEONE SAY-
[HEADING=1]ANIME GAMES?![/HEADING]
Sorry, I had to do that, but don't worry. This isn't anime... much. Yes, I am trying to trick you into reading this.
Yes, it is somewhat "anime", but only a very small fraction. The only thing that is anime in this game is the non-voiced conversations, and even then it's not the cringe kind of anime that most people here seem to fear. (Although I have a heavy tolerance to the stuff. Still...)
Enough of me blabbing on...
The game is Gravity Rush.
A new IP that was previously only available to the Vita, but now on remastered the PS4.
You're a hobo girl with no memories, gravity powers, and a body that can survive so, so many falls.
To stick up for me is Yahtzee.
With a Zero Punctuation [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/116793-Gravity-Rush-Review] (watch until the end) and a article [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/video-games/columns/extra-punctuation/15612-Gravity-Rush-s-Flying-Physics-Let-You-Fail-in-Style#&gid=gallery_5840&pid=1].
...Somewhat
While the game has its faults, I still love it.
- It's a neat little superhero sandbox.
- I like the French/steampunk setting.
- I like the main character, Kat, which is real surprisingly, because before I bought the game, I thought she was going to be the stoic/deadpan/emotionless character, yet in the game she's quite different.
- I found the gravity powers neat.
- And it gave me a new IP that I have hope for, especially since the second one is going to hopefully released this year for the PS4, where it will have MUCH more power to flaunt due to the hardware.
Finally I'll just leave this little video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmjCn1CJoPw] (caution intro spoilers).
It's what made me buy it.
