Hey Everyone.

I thought it would be cool if we had a thread where everyone could share their pets with everyone else. Dogs, cats, birds, lizards, whatever you have. Also, if you post more than a couple of pictures please put the rest in spoiler tags.

Here's my dog King, he's a German Shepherd (I think he's mixed with a little husky or malamute), I adopted a couple of months ago and is the first pet I've ever taken care of on my own. He is about the nicest, friendliest, fuzziest guy you will ever meet.

So lets see everyone else' little companions.

Well i have 2 pets and a further 21 which me and my housemates share. 2 dogs Zac and Bryn.

Then with my housemates we own one hamster known as Rolo (don't ask me how he got the name my housemates decided when they randomly bought him, without even asking ¬.¬), he's a master escape artist/ninja he's escaped several times, 4 times out of his old ball, twice out of his new cage (but after we caught onto how he was escaping he went back to his old cage), and this weekend just gone he well and truly made an escape, my housemate went to bed, in the morning came in the living room to find a hole in the side of his cage where his water bottle goes in... 3 days later he walks in the room at midnight to find the b*****d sitting on the sofa. Aw well i can't stay mad at him for too long (even if he did cost us £40 for a new cage), he bit my other housemates boyfriend ever since then i've loved the lil guy (i happen to not like this boyfriend lol).

As for the other 20 well there tropical fish, problem with them is they seem to either kill each other or just randomly die, although the new lot don't seem to do it since we stopped going to a major UK pet store and buying the fish from there (*cough* pets at home *cough*), good job too i was getting sick and tired of having to fish the dead ones out cause the others wouldn't.

A cat named Bubbles, British Long Hair. She's about 13 years old now, so she's pretty old. We used to have like 7 other cats, who were her kittens, but they all ran away or I don't know what happened to them, leaving us with Two, Bubbles herself, and her son, Ginger, who was sadly put down two years ago because of Feline AIDS.

He's getting on a bit, but never shows it, despite being about 15 years old.

I honestly wouldn't trade him for the world. Even if he does have a habit of sitting in ashtrays.

I used to have a cat, but she died last spring. Now, I'm getting a dog in 2 days. Looking forward to that, since the dog in question is really awesome. She's a roughly 2 months old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy with some serious attitude. I mean, SERIOUS attitude. She chases away adult dogs of the same species! xD

Anyway, I'll be taking lots of pictures when I get her and upload them here, so... Yea, I'll post this so I remember it. ^^

My girlfriend moved in with a guinea pig named Coal. He got the name because he's black and doesn't move. Pretty much all he does is eat and drink and shit. We do sometimes put his igloo hide away and he runs around the room underneath that which is pretty cute. Then he screams for food at seven in the morning and I want to strangle the little bastard.

As for my all time favorite pet, it would be a golden retriever named Max I had through high school. Best dog ever.

Used to have two cat's, one Pandora but she died last Christmas eve... that sucked.
But still have my other cat; Poppy. Who is basically a black furball.
Also a bunch of fish that don't have names.

I have a cat. She is called Kit.

Not very imaginative,I know but it's something I would not be embarrassed to be calling late at night waiting for her to come in.
Also we can call her KitKat. That is actually the main reason we called her that. She used to have a brother called Paddy and he was Paddy Cat, so she's Kit Cat.

I'll post pics when I can be bothered but i'll name them for now.

3 Hamsters. Casper (white long furred), Ruby (brown long furred and evil ... she bites) and Scruffy (another white long furred but his fur is literally all over the place and messy thus the name).

2 Guinea Pigs. Izzy and Inka, both female. Inka is noisy as hell, always has to "wheek" for treats, Izzy is pretty quiet you can barely hear her until Inka starts.

1 Snake. Angel. Cross bred Corn Snake with Rat Snake. She's orange with peach underside. Not very big only about 3 feet long. She's still young as far as snakes go though so a long way to grow yet.

They were all bought by my wife.

Then we have 2 Rats. Cheeka and Rosita. Both female, Cheeka had an ear infection when she was a baby so now her head tilts slightly to the left. She had balance problems for a while and "rolled" over a lot losing her bearings but she's okay now. She had a steroid injection that sorted it out for a short while but the tilt came back again, no infection though the vet just said the tilt was a way to counterbalance when she had the infection.

They both belong to my step daughter, the eldest kid.

1 Ferret. Minx. She was bought for me by the kids for my 31st birthday but because she's so playful and likes to go for little walks on her lead (my wifes idea to start with but Minx loved it) she's kind of been adopted by everyone. The kids love her to bits.

She started off as mine but was stolen by everyone.

Another hamster, Cupid. Had her for a while she's our second oldest pet. Technically she should have died by now, she's had growths that appeared on her face and belly. The kids literally got into a fight with me and refused to let me put her down. I really thought she was going to suffer. The growths went and she's still running around like a loon. Her teeth have all gone though so she lives on porridge. She's a bit over 4 years old and still going strong. Running joke that she's going to outlive us all and be handed down as a living family heirloom.

And finally 1 Rabbit, Odin. Our first pet. My wife got him for my when we got the house. It was before we were married and I was still in the army. We've had him for 6 years so he's the grandad of the pets. I'm the only one he'll let pet him and the only one he plays with (he bounces around my feet and then waits for me to jump around him, it's amusing to see my wife laughs at me I look like a fool but my rabbit loves it). He runs away from everyone else even though I was hardly around for the first 3 years he was with us. I love that rabbit.

And thats the lot.

Oh and the odd spider that keeps appearing and my wife keeps naming Fred.

After mum said NO MORE HOUSEPETS! we ended up somehow getting 4 more cats soon afterwards... 3 from an ex-neighbour who just basically abandoned them and one from a stepsister who abandoned her too.. so basically we just go THEY ARE OURS! and have been for like 6-7 years now we gave them boring names like Misty,Alexia,Sultan,Junior

okay, this'll be a pretty long list, but it keeps getting shorter (they're all starting to die of old age D
I have 2 dogs one's a pit bull/ Rottweiler mix, the other is a German Shepard
2 cats
an iguana
a chinchilla (used to have two)
3 birds. a blue and gold macaw, a green cheeked parakeet (like the one jontron has), and another that I can't remember at the moment.
3 tortoises. 2 sulcatas and a greek tortoise
a bunch of fish (including 2 lungfish)
and we pretty much take care of the neighborhood's squirrels.

my cat, bam bam. he got that name from the shelter, though, so i alternate between that and "toothless," because he is the unholy offspring of lightning and death. i'm also in possession of a rottweiler-newfoundland mix dog at the moment too, so he spends a lot less time sitting in boxes and a lot more time playing a high-stakes game of tag. no pics of the puppy though...i have to fix that.
