I lost my pet in September. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.312228-Farewell-A-thread-about-pet-deaths-and-the-celebration-of-life#12639989] I miss him terribly but it doesn't hurt like it did anymore.

Not likely going to get a pet of my own for a long time... Need to get my own place first.

I have two golden retrievers, both rescue dogs. There's Remy (Remay, Remehdawg, Big Fat Dog) who's 8-9ish and very lazy, and Penny (Crazy Dog, hey you, ouch fucking Christ that was my arm holy fuck) who turned 2 in the summer.

I have seven cats and two rats.

Crappy pic is crappy, but I figured it's better than multiple pics.

Left to right: Donnie, Miko and Sheldon.

Friggen, she was outside but was in an accident that left her back legs mostly paralyzed so she stays upstairs away from the other cats.

My baby Loki.

Mort.

TIMMEH!

Axel and Croix, Axel is the one with the black stripe.

I have 5 cats. Princess (the only female, all grey), Walrus(black, he has some massive fangs that stick out when his mouth is closed), Woodchuck (black, he runs and looks like a Woodchuck), AJ (brown and black "tiger"), and CJ(brown and black "tiger"). Princess, Walrus, and Woodchuck are siblings as are AJ and CJ.

At one point we actually had 21 cats. People would keep dropping them off at our farm or they would wander over and decide to stay. Most were outside but we fed them a couple times a day and had some beds out there for them to sleep in. If it was a bitterly cold night we would tarp up the front porch to keep the wind out. They all had names too, my mom made up a rhyme to remember them but I was too young and never learned it.

I also have 4 dogs. Youtoo (a sheltie, learned his name as "Youtoo" when we couldn't think of a name and kept saying that to get him out with the other dogs), Meadow (a yellow lab), Bailey (a yorkie), and Prissy (a mutt). We have a couple birds we inherited from my grandparents when they passed away but I don't really like birds. We also have 25-30 head of cattle but I don't really classify them as pets.

I have two dogs. A whippet-Border Collie mix Louie, who's smart as fuck and is the laziest but fastest dog I've ever met; and a Jack Russel-fox terrier mix Roxie, who's a bit inconsistent between when she's running around the house and then a second later demanding that you sit down and cuddle her.

I have no pics on hand, and I don't want to upload some just for the sake of this thread.

I have an old cat named Tina.
I have a chinchilla named Skippy that's probably around middle aged for a chinchilla.
I may be getting a dog named Roxi that's around 2 years old and very over-excitable. Though that's still a big maybe.

I have two Dachshunds and a mutty thing who is adorably weird looking. And my grass looks terrible in these photos - but I live in the desert. Grass here is considered 'exotic' and unless I want to shell out a $200-$300 a month water bill to keep it at it's peak, it'll just have to look shitty.
