The first computer game I ever played(I think) was a game in which you ran around in first person perspective and saved dinosaurs from their impending extinction by finding their 2D images before the timer ran out.

I must've been like 3-4 years old and when I couldn't save them all, I cried. ;(
Shedding a tear over video games is ALWAYS allowable :)

I shed a small tear at the end of Half Life 2 Episode 2 amazingly enough, aged 30. As I dont know how to do that spoiler thing I wont say why :)

I remember playing a game where you were an ant collecting fruit(?) in the ground, but you were chased by other ants/bugs. It was in color and I think it was on C64.
Anyone know what the game could be?
That sounds oddly familiar yet I have no idea :(

Rollercoaster Tycoon on the PC. It's older, pixelated, and a bit complex for someone at my age, but I fucking loved it.

Loved? I mean love. If you love sims or tycoon simulators you have no excuse to not have played this game.

Both in 1995 when I was 3 on a very old computer, great times.
That second one reminds me of a game on C64 called 'Blitz' i think - you bombed buildings, and occasionally King Kong would climb one. If you killed him you got a bonus :)

Super Mario Land on the Game Boy, but it was my sister's. My own first game was Jurassic Park for the Game Boy... I sold it and regret that.

Maybe I'll look for an emulator.
Ahh yeah I remember gameboys, they were super popular at school. Black and white screen. I remember playing super mario on one of them :)
Black and white? Nah, shades of green!

Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone.

No, that's not true. Before that there were these floppy drive games, kind of worthless, puzzles mostly. Played the shit out of them when I was like, six? Seven?

I know there were games before it but Sonic the Hedgehog 1 is the one that I can remember most clearly.

Hmmm...I do believe that it was Total Annihilation on the PC about 8 years ago when I was 6 or so. I remember my uncle gave it to me and at first I would just load up the first level and move some units around to hear the noises they would make and whatnot XD
Then my uncle showed me how to play and I was hooked, I spent countless hours playing skirmishes and inventing my own scenarios, that game kicked ass! I spent load it up every now and then and it still holds up incredibly well.

I believe it was a point-and-click adventure game about Rincewind from Discworld.
"Did you get the number of that Donkey Cart?"
