Probably Lode Runner: The Legend Returns for Mac OS, or Sim Tower for Windows. Or maybe some educational PC game, like Basketball Typing (??) or Math Mountain. One of those, I'd wager.

Lode Runner is definitely my favorite among my earliest PC games. I made soooo many custom levels and made my brother play through them; especially the brutally hard ones.

I think it was Boulder Dash on the school computers. It was called Bomber och Bumlingar, being in Swedish.

My first was Maniac Mansion, I was young then, but even as a kid I was able to memorize the Dos command to run the game. It was an old green screen computer, and I remember I was quite awful at the game.

Fortress of the Witch King on the Commodore 64. It combined text with a big map that starts out as mostly a black screen, but uncovers forest, mountains, towns and water masses as you send out scouts to map an expanding area. When you have acquired enough troops in this turn based RPG, you enter the fortress which is like a maze until you find and defeat the witch king. There was no back story to explain why he deserved to die, but the name tells you something.

Ahh best game and at 5 years old the level skip button was invaluable for my primitive brain

The one that REALLY got me in to games (yes I was a little older then most at the time) was Crash Bandicoot 2 on the PS1. Absolute awesome.

Well my First COMPUTER game was probably, Lego Island or Goosebumps: Attack of the Mutant.

I don't exactly remember my actual first game tho. My Parents had an NES from before I was born Super Mario Bros. probably, or Kirby, or Dragon Quest
