The first enemy i remember killing (well, knocking out) was a Pidgey from Pokemon, but i know their was more before.

The Pidgey was a ***** though, can still remember it killing me because i didn't know what any of the moves did and i kept using growl :( (or some stupid move like that)

Most likely from a Mario game on the Super Nintendo thing. Either a Koopa or Gomba I guess :)

I'm feeling my age here, but it was probably a space invader... possibly a tank in BattleZone. The first one I remember vividly was a slime in Dragon Warrior.

Thou hast done well in defeating the slime.

An alien ship in "Space Fury".

I'm not entirely sure, but it was either the first goomba on SMB1, an enemy MiG on Super Strike Eagle for SNES, or indeed, as this man said:

Splat goes the Goomba!

Not on the NES, mind you, I'm talking Super Mario Land on the first Gameboy.

Most epic Chiptune in existence:
Definitely a good choice. That game is epic. I was always a bigger fan of the 1-3 Temple Theme, though.

Don't know if you're a metal fan or not, but you might appreciate this as a SML fan. Iced Earth sounds quite familiar to the Temple Theme around 2:40 into the song Desert Rain...

Hmm... first game I remember playing was this weird fps type thing called "stellar 7" on windows 95. I don't recall exactly what you were supposed to be fighting, but the graphics were so primitive that they weren't distinguishable as anything. Probably alien ships or some shit.

Mine was a crab in the first level of Crash Bandicoot 1. Technically it could still be alive as I span him into the distance. I like to think he landed next to a lady crab and fell in love. He's most probably dead though...

I believe it was either a zombie dog form resident evil or one of the elves in the first level of Gex the gecko 3.

Not sure if it counts but...Myself. I jumped on to the keyboard of my cousin and fired the super duper weapon into a wall.

Well, I played Ghost Recon once when I was really little, but I don't think I managed to kill any terrorists. So I guess my first enemy would be one of those little robots in SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom.

No idea... Something on the SNES, before I even owned one. Maybe a Goomba? Not sure. The first I really remember is a "toppa" or carrot in Banjo-Kazooie.

One of the space invaders alien ships, followed by many more of them as they continued their grand strategy of moving horizontally across the screen, then advancing one piece, then moving back horizontally across the screen, repeat.

The next wasn't until a few years later, being the ghosts in Pacman (i.e. when you eat the corner dot and are able to turn the tables and chase/kill them for a few seconds).

In the years between those two most games (that I played) didn't involve killing - usually you'd be jumping over obstacles and avoiding things with no means of attacking back (Donkey Kong, Pitfall etc).

If we're talking games that I really got into and played to death, the first one that involved killing was Wizardry 1, which I remember playing in 1984.
