Bomberman: Act Zero. I really hate this game. I have never been so let down by anything and I've never gotten rid of anything so quickly. I think I owned it for about an hour before I traded it in.
When I feel like I'm playing a bad game I just remember Act Zero and suddenly I feel like I'm playing a fantastic AAA game.

Never had a game I hated until I played Oblivion: Elder Scrolls... from then on, every Bethesda game.

I was lucky enough not to run into a particularly bad game until playing Too Human. Biggest disappoint of my gaming life. A game about space viking gods (which raises he question why we weren't playing as a better god. Baldr was killed by a mistletoe) and it was terrible. It would have been better but those goddamn controls, I couldn't move!

Isn't there a law against saying that?

It had to be one of the Madden games, I know because my brothers always want the newest Madden and I always gave it a shot and said "screw this" halfway through the first quarter.

I must say, DA2, and it's not even a bad game.

(Not to imply I have just started gaming, I've played some titles but none bring out the rage inside of me like "The Magical Adventures of Hawke" a.k.a. Dragon Age 2 did)

I just didn't like the changes. Cell shading? Fewer, simplified answers? Plot-line not so significant? Re-used dungeons? This is NOT Dragon Age! What the fuck!?

I actually got disgusted when I got to the Broodmother section, it was just sickening! I can't imagine myself getting even upset with cell shading. Please.

The first game I REMEMBER hating (my memory sucketh buttocks) is Disgaea. Whenever I played it and I died 30 levels down in a 100 level item thing - I actually can't remember the particulars of the game mechanics; my memory has been purged for self preservation - for the nth time, I would be overcome with an unholy rage that tempted me to toss the controller into the TV set and the PS2 out the window. And then get a gun to shoot at the smouldering remains.

Really wasn't a game for me.

Recently Infinite Undiscovery has also made it onto my hate list, more deservingly perhaps.

There were a lot of games that I didn't like or felt weren't good. The first game that showed me they could be bad was some weird cat game on the PsOne that I don't remember.

The first game I actually HATED though was Fable 2. I was so sorely disappointed it made me loathe it. Maybe it is an ok game, I just can't stop hating it.

EDIT : PsOne game was Bubsy 3D

fallout 3(braces for inevitable flaming)
seriously though i dont understand how anyone can like that game its just not entertaining. dont even get me started on the scenery and visuals the bland monotonous subway that you probably enter 5 billion times. and combat was basically rng based on your build. the story was somewhat intriguing but so badly played out ughh.

Friday the 13th on NES back when I was 8 or so.

Played it all day one day and still never beat Jason once, out of the 3 times. No one in my family could either. Hell, I still can't manage to beat the damned game.

The most recent game I hated was: Alone in the Dark, for the Wii. The game had potential, the trailers made it look relatively interesting, but my god the controls...
