Fuck XP Systems, fuck them with a barb wired covered dildo made from razor blades
Agreed. Playing these new COD games aggravated the fuck out of me more than any game.

They used to have much better ( more tactical/realistic ) games for the older systems like the original Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6 by Red Storm Entertainment.

I was like, what the fuck did they do to these console shooting games nowadays ?

Turned them into arcady trash for 12 year olds ?
What they did from WaW/MW2 onwards was try to dip into the Halo market, full of 12 year olds and (what I believe the Americans call) "jocks" (what i define to be douchebag casual gamers. they arent douchebags for being casual gamers .... they just are docuhebags. just to clarify, non douchebag casuals exist)

Fallout 3
*Hate shield*

Now folks don't take me wrong that I didn't LIKE Fallout 3.
But I feel that it kinda broke the Fallout name.
However it was a good stand alone game if you label it "Slightly Unique Post Apocalyptic War-zone Simulator"

and the first game i played that i hated that i DIDN'T buy?
some western shooting game on the NES

first game i hated just for existing but never played?

Someone mentioned earlier that he didn't hate games during earlier playthroughs, and that, on encountering a bad game, he just forgot about it. I think that certainly applies to me. The only time when I--actively--hated a game throughout was probably Bioshock 2, but that's because I nitpicked it a lot due to my love for the original. It's the same complex that all fanboys get when they've become suddenly distant from their favorite titles and are immediately disgusted by it. But to me it performed poorly in consideration of what it tried to change--the slow, exploratory pace of the original compared to the quick pace required for the sequel--and what it tried to remain steadfast to, which was the story quality. But when you had an beatnik "intellectual" as your bad guy, in contrast to your ungodly god-like man, or to what is essentially a modern interpretation of the mythic trickster, something had to break. The transition between the two games was really off.

Anyway the second game I hated, that I didn't try to hate this time, was Mass Effect 2. But I'm such a snob, I don't like science fiction at all :p

Man I can't even think of any games I hated until recently.
It takes a lot to make me hate a game.
It takes a lot to make me hate anything really.

I think I'd have to go with...

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Why end #2 with a cliffhanger to release more of the same story?
The series has so much potential, why even release 2 games with the same "main character"?
(gentetic-memory-wise)

I'm really easy to please. Even when it comes to most movies or games that people hate I tend to be more "meh" about them. I'm sure there were some I hated before this, but the first one I can remember is Far Cry 2. Haaaaate.

Yeah, a bit cheesy, but I as a young lad I was traumatised by the Singstar games my older sisters used to have back in the PS2 days. My singing ability wasn't (and still isn't) the greatest, but I was unaware of this until I had successfully embarrassed myself in front of a room full of peers, which began the downward spiral...

...sorry, what was I saying? Oh, yes, Singstar games, hate 'em.

This game was just bad, bad, bad. It tries (and succeeds) to be a more historically-accurate Gladiator, but it sacrificed everything that made Gladiator so badass. It was only occasionally competent, and the only praise I would give it would be for its item system. I had disliked a couple of games before this, but Colosseum: Road to Freedom was the first one I hated.

I'd actually had fairly good luck until this year, actually. Or was it the end of last year? Anyway, I had the opportunity to play Lord of the Rings Conquest (I think?) on PS3.

Holy crap is that game bad. It's like Dynasty Warriors, but with all the fun and character and colour and...fun removed.

I dislike how they made the maximum score 10000. Since I'm OCD, it always hurts when I sing and only get 09960.

In seriousness, this is why assigning a score to someone's singing ability has been and always will be a bad idea. Especially in party situations.

Donkey Kong Country.
It such an underwhelming game to me. It looks nice, sure, but thats pretty much all the praise I can give it. There was nothing about it that ever seemed interesting to me. I never understood the point of having a shitload of different items in the game that all give you extra lives, given that the game had save points. I wouldn't go so far to say that it's a bad game, but I certainly think it's overrated.

I never hated anything until I touched multiplayer, now any of these multiplayer games that come out are on my immediate hate list. I'll never like any form of multiplayer for as long as I live, too many assholes in the world and nobody bothers trying to like me enough to play co-op.
