The first game you played

I don't remember the first game I ever played, but I remember the first game I ever owned, Super Mario Bros. for the Gameboy Colour. The Gameboy was bright green, and my Dad was obsessed with it.

Mortal Kombat I think. Loved it and nearly mastered it at the tender age of 4.

Wow, I feel really old.... "Baskeyball" on the Magnavox Odyssey2. It was around 1985, when I started playing. However, the Odyssey2 was released in 1978.

The original C&C or Total Annihilation (which I still play). Happy Days.

First game has got to be SkiFree. Such an addictive game for pc. So simple yet so fun. Best part of the game is when you set trees on fire by jumping over them and of course the abominable snow monster which is impossible to run away from.

i forgot in what order but my first games were asteroids, duke nukem 3d, the doom games, the original side scrolling duke nukem games, then Command and Conquer: tiberian dawn. amazing games that sent me down a long slippery slope of being a gamer. haha

Either Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (a truly brilliant game, as I recall) or Super Mario Land. Super Mario Land was basically the same as the first Mario games, but Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was undifineable to people who haven't played it (see screenshot).

I remember playing games for the atari 2600 and commodore 64 at friend's houses... first console i ever owned was a master system 2, so Sonic was the first game i ever owned... no i never completed Alex the Kidd in Miracle World either, that was a bastard of a game.
First PC game i ever played was either a Kings Quest game, or Command and Conqueor.
