Moto Racer was amazing, it was also the first game I've ever played.

Never again have i seen such a fun motorcycle racing game, although i throughly enjoyed the motorcycles in the midnight club series.

Flashback: Quest for Identity.

Fuck. I feel old.
Me too:

The Secret of Monkey Island
Quarantine
Maniac Mansion
Alone in the Dark
Stunts
Blackthorne
Out of This World
Shadow of the Comet

Those were only the first batch of "good" PC games (not counting the merely "ok" ones) I played on my state-of-the-art 386, after years of being a console gamer. And don't even get me started on the MSX, or I'll REALLY get nostalgic on you.

I'd go over to a friends house and play these classics on PC:
Scorched Earth
Maniac Mansion
Lemmings

All my good old games would come from Commodore 64 though and include titles such as:
Caveman Ugglympics
Archon
Ghostbusters
Jumpman JR
Bruce Lee

Oh man, i really gotta think back... Earthsiege 2, Mechwarrior 3, Heavy Gear, Day of the Tentacle... Age of Empires 2, Freespace (and Freespace 2)... I really was a simulation nut back then. I guess i still am, any game that lets me pilot a big 'Mech, I'm in.

I think my favorites would have to be the XCOM games... Except the one where you're on Mars. But between the first two XCOM games, as well as Star Wars: X-Wing, I forget how much time I lost due to my PC.

I remember partaking in alot of Age of Empires binges, much like most people here. My Dad played alot of Lords of the Realm 2, which is funny to look back upon, but back then that was an interesting game.

Not exactly old, but honorable mentionings go to Mechwarrior, I rocked that when I was younger, I still have nostolgia over that. ;_;

I never had a PC of my own growing up, so my experiences with PC gaming are very socially oriented. :)
In this order (chronologically, not favorite-y):

Lemmings!
I freaking loved this game as a kid!

Myst
In middle school, me, my best friend and her older sister spent a few months working on it together. It almost killed us, but was one of the best gaming experiences of my life. We got stuck for a looong time on the final puzzle and my friends sister ended up just buying the walkthrough book so we could see the end. Very disappointed in the final puzzle, but at least we didn't feel bad about 'cheating' at the end. It was obvious we NEVER would have figured it out anyway.

Warcraft
I remember everyone i know going crazy for this game, but i never got into it. Played it a lot because of friends so it still has a place in my heart for that reason. Still can't get into RTS to this day, so no surprise there!

I never really had much interest in PC games when I was younger. Anything with more buttons than a PlayStation controller seemed like too much work. I can't remember which PC game was first, but it was either Rollercoaster Tycoon, SimCity 3000, or Red Alert 2 - all of which kicked ass even though I could never figure them out until years later. I could only play them at my cousins' house since we didn't have a PC at the time.

I didn't personally get into PC gaming until I was given a demo copy of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. (AKA, Age of Empires 2 in Space) Oddly enough, I've never been interested in any of the actual AoE games.
