Silpheed, Bouncing Babies, Sokuban.

Don't worry, no one else has heard of them either.

I wasted AT LEAST a full year playing that game.. I played it for like 5 years but in that 5 years I literally put a full 365 days (maybe a little more) of playtime in.
I missed out on so much pootie it's not even funny.
BUT... at least I had fun.

Starflight. I'd read about it in ye olde Computer Gaming Monthly (RIP) and I didn't even have a computer that was yet capable of playing it (mine only had 128k RAM, needed a massive 640k!) but a friend of mine did, and so I played at his place, or rented time at the local library computer. Wasteland is a close second.

Though the very first game that I bought and played for the PC was Ancient Art of War. I remember I could have picked that up or Ultima III: Exodus. I would later go on to play Ultima IV and the rest, which was another phenomenal title.

Either Prince of Persia or Lemmings. Both where on the first computer I had, which actually was on loan from my father. I played the shit out of Lemmings, but couldn't complete any level on PoP and cheated extensively.

The first Splinter Cell. I loved it so much, I couldn't wait to come home from school and play it.

some sort of zodiac demo disk, perhaps cold shadow (daffy duck as a ninja). but really, the first pc game i remember playing of note is deus ex, man that sorta left all following games with a "not deus ex" taste.

System God damn Shock 2. Played it when I was I think 6 and got through the tutorial by myself before my parents said I was too young to play it.

Went back when I was 14 to play it and I died. It scarred the shit outta me and I now think it was best old PC game I ever played.

If anyone has a download link for it that can work on a windows 7, I will love you forever.

- Age of Empires 2 (I wasn't old enough when Age of Empires 1 was out so I never got around to play it)
- Twinsen Odyssey: Little Big Adventure 2
- Banjo Kazooie and Tooie (those aren't REALLY old, but they were my bread and butter when I was young)
- Dungeon Keeper 1 (not that I was conscious enough to know what to do, I just slapped the tiny little Imps for the lols)
- RollerCoaster Tycoon 1
- Claw (Cats and Pirates, what's not to love?)

I think chess is a pretty badass game.

Seriously though I will go with Diablo, Mario is Missing, and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

Holy shit I remember Choplifter! That game was awesome, and I miss my old Apple II, now I feel old.

I need a drink now.
