the first game defintaly had it flaws like the scene with the star destroyer (awesome but a huge pain in the ass) but was still worth the money. Starkiller is way more bad ass than vader. (i am so going to get it for that)This time they will get it right...I hope.(crosses his fingers and sacrifices a chicken)

Just got the first, glad I'm in time for the sequel. Also, Star Destroyer segment was awesome once I realized that I can mash to Force Grip button to auto toss the TIE Fighters.

but he did die in the game once before. The Force is to strong in him to let him die so easily. You have no understanding of The Force, young padawan. To understand the force is to understand yourself.

As much as I loved the original game, I'm not at all eager for more mutilation of that particular era's timeline.

Come one, man. There's so much fertile ground in the years prior to The Phantom Menace and after Return of the Jedi. Let Galen Marek stay dead, thus cementing his place as the Rebel Alliance's greatest martyr, and shift focus onto another Force sensitive who needs to be "unleashed".

Say Whaaaat?

I'm no Star Wars scholar, but didn't Galen Marek DIE as a martyr that kindled the flame needed for the Rebel Alliance to start? Didn't this happen between the trilogies? What the hell?

I'll still buy it seeing as I loved the fuck out of the first one, but I actually am taken aback by the possibility of a sequel to a story that was pretty much stuck between Episodes III and IV.

And if he is magically alive now, his body was on the DEATH STAR. You don't fade into obscurity after a magical revival from martyrdom if you died at the Emperor's feet.

I hope you can cut people in 2 this time as opposed to bashing a storm trooper a couple times till they fall over.
As well as make the lightsaber combat more enjoyable with some actual use for the combos also Darth Reven costume.

I just lost all interest in the series. I hate the DEAD PROTAGONIST COMES BACK! plot devices. The only place where that worked well was Chrono Trigger, and even that was slightly WTF-inducing.

The whole Force Unleashed thing is just a whole Star Wars canon cluster%^$k....so some random jedi's son(Starkiller) so how ends up being stronger than any other jedi, including the Chosen One(Anakin)???......and the Empire created the Rebel Alliance out of stupidity because the let the apprentice join up all their opposition into one group to rebel, and then Starkiller fails at ending them?.....also...the one huge plothole from the game...ok...if you can beat that...old jedi master guy(can't remember his name), then why do you have to go back and get him to train you, when you have already proven you are better than him?

...god, I hate that game...oh, almost forgot about the impossible "black" lightsaber...

Although I would probally like this game, there are other star wars games I'd rather see made. Let me think... KOTOR 3, battlefront 3, republic commando 2. All these games would be awsome and wouldn't have to mutate the star wars story any more. Maybe imperial commando?

You're mostly using General Rom Kota for connections so that you can create an army. He does teach you a few things about being a jedi, rather than a sith (like morals), too.

I'm hoping that this one will be less buggy.

The old guy may not have Starkiller's raw power but he has more knowledge about the force than Starkiller, especially when it comes to light-side stuff.

Uh, hey guys? This is a cash in. The fact that the plot doesn't make sense is irrelevant.

they way it is set up it look like he is in an arena and there is the possibility of this taking place in the outer rim. A place the Empire abondon long ago for the inner worlds. I am saying Gamers need to keep an open minded about story and STOP BEING SO GOD DAMN ELITIST ABOUT EVERYTHING!

It could be good, it could be bad, it's not out for a bit so there isn't any real point in speculating.

Whose to say he actually died in the good ending, he was merely lying motionless (not breathing you may say, but I recall no-ones chest raising and falling through-out the whole game) on the floor after a explosion, one that Darth Sideous survived.

Where they can go with it is unknown, chances are the game runs parallel to A New Hope, what he does though, I don't think any of us could guess accurately, and besides, do you even really want to? I mean, if you guess exactly what happens in the game, you'll only spoil it for yourself if you do get it

Well, it's a chance to improve on the first game and fix it. I have my cynical doubts, but the first was fun for a while at least. I was hoping they'de countinue with the force unleashed idea but apply it to, y'know...other Jedi...

Anyway, your forgetting the Emperor survived Episode 3. Clones. nuff said.

Then again, as has been said... that death was pretty -weak-. Maybe he used the force to fake his death.

erm... is there meant to be a discussion about this or something...? Please give your threads more detail, such as 'what do you think about it?', etc etc. Give your own opinion too.

Anyways, I'm suprised that its been given quite good reception so far, considering the total shittery of the first one.

i never finished this game, i played the part with the star destoyer so many times i got fed up n traded it.
but my force ineptitude aside, the game to me was just a hack n slash but with some cool powers.

as for the story? i've no idea what lucas' problem is, maybe he trys so hard to recreate his success', that he's too blinkered to be as innovative.

i hope i havent offended any star wars die hards
