I had fun with the first one. It just wasn't -AWESOME-.

i never finished this game, i played the part with the star destoyer so many times i got fed up n traded it.
but my force ineptitude aside, the game to me was just a hack n slash but with some cool powers.

as for the story? i've no idea what lucas' problem is, maybe he trys so hard to recreate his success', that he's too blinkered to be as innovative.

i hope i havent offended any star wars die hards

No we've all more or less accepted Star Wars will never progress as an IP until Lucas dies of cancer or something.

always been a Star Wars fan (but by not being an angry nerd against LucasArts I guess I can't really call myself a "fan[atic]" anymore ^^), and the first game was mad fun for a while...but definitely had its faults
mostly with some gameplay design, not sure about any bugs really

sure I'd love to see republic commandos (still need to read the last novel) and battlefront (and the build for 3 was looking so awesome...) get a next-gen shot at things, but oh well...hope Force Unleashed's sequel fixes problems and makes things better (some recent "2" games seem to be doing great jobs at being a total improvement, and that's something worth looking at)

Eh, I dunno.

It looks really cool but I have a feeling the story will be lame. That is one reason I like KOTOR so much, It's set thousands of years before the movies so you have little or no chance to fuck it up or ruin your mind about it. Also because the Old Republic was much cooler anyways.

i loved the KotOR's
and yes, a good setting to do what you want time line/plot wise

is there much room for gamer set after return of the jedi? or has that all been sown up with books etc?

I'm psyched.

I don't care about the cannon, any opportunity to wave a lightsaber around and Force Lightening enemies to dust and I'm happy!

I mean, this can't happen, for a very good reason:
GALEN'S DEAD, DUMBASS
but he did die in the game once before. The Force is to strong in him to let him die so easily. You have no understanding of The Force, young padawan. To understand the force is to understand yourself.
But he didn't die, he was severely wounded, gathered by a droid, and healed WITH SUFFICENT EQUIPMENT.
I doubt the Emperor and Vader would decide to heal him.

Uh dude, this is Star Wars. The land in which George Lucas and his cronies make shit up and bend story lines to suit their current whim.

HOW. IS. THAT. FUCKING. POSSIBLE?!

Starkiller died at the end of the first game!

But whatever. As long as they improve the faults both the Next Gen versions and the Wii version had (ESPECIALLY the Wii version), I'm happy.
