Chainsaw kills: Great, big, throbbing weapon plunges into soft, pink, sensitive flesh. Fluids fly everywhere, and both parties scream very loudly.

Delta squad: They all care about each other a lot, though they don't say it. They are so manly, only the presence of other men can satisfy them.

General sense of helplessness: There's big, scary monsters who are doing something to the human race against our will, and we're all but powerless to stop them. Sounds kind of rapey to me.

Oh, and a little bit of torture fetishism in the second game.

Simple, because I'm just getting out of Psychology and English class only to discover that after learning Freud's theories (Mostly his sexual theories, such as Oral, Sadistic-Anal etc, etc)
I'm starting to see it EVERYWHERE!! It gets annoying. So join me in my misery.

Freud was just a pseudo-celebrity who got coked up all the time and spouted a bunch of crazy-ass theories based on his own crappy childhood. He was basically the Charlie Sheen of the mid 19th Century. Pretty much everything he came up with has been proven wrong, including the infamous Oedipus Complex.

To further back up the WINNER status of the post, if you take it back to its logical end, the soldiers represented in BF3 have gone through extensive military training, in which your weapon is often sexualized. Combat itself is even subject to sexualization, with terms such as "war woody".

To go even more Freudian, in the game you are killing soldiers who received similar training to you, meaning that you are destroying yourself. Even further than that, you have better weapons than the opposing force, thus creating a form of "penis envy" in the other soldiers.

You could even go so far as to relate discharge of weapons as penile discharge, thus making the act of killing orgasmic.

To top it all off, you are following orders from the commanding officers (father figures), and are operating on behalf of America, which is often referred to as the "motherland". With that logic, you are raping on behalf of your parents.

...and you will never look at a shooter the same...
