MU, it was an obscure game, I was living in the philippines and some dudes at the net cafe close by started playing it, dunno if anyone else have ever heard of it.

Mine was Dark Ages of Camelot... But I did not playit very long.. the game now that got me to Love MMOss *Well at least that one* was Dungeons and Dragons Online.. I have not been able to get interested in any other then that one.. But I have High hopes for The Old republic.

I haven't actualy played much MMOs other than that, though. I've been too broke. I plan to try out WoW as soon as some cash frees up, but that could take months, from the looks of things.

World of Borecraft, the Great Deceiver... it draws you in with various hooks, makes you like it a bit, then leaves you alone to flounder miserably in its countless faults until you either become enslaved by it, or the loathing just makes you drop it before your paid time is even up.
As a Mormupuger, it started with Guild Wars because that was free. I went onto beta testing LOTRO and playing RF,but I didn't like either and made a vow never to touch a Codemasters MMO again. I played a bit of Warcraft,but the subscription put me off,and I beta'd Warhammer Online. Now I'm waiting for the next decent one to come along.
Not an RPG at all but my 1st online game with a community of real people was Neopets - my kids were playing it and both the wife and myself ended up playing it as well. From there ts was MapleStory for about 18 months followed by a variety of MMORPG's for between a day and a couple of months each: Last Chaos, 9Dragons, WoW, Perfect World and a few others. Then I discovered LOTRO and since then I haven't looked elsewhere - about 15 months so far and no thought of leaving
Ragnarok Online started me out... then years after I gave that up WoW pulled me back into MMOs in a big way.
Well, a friend of mine was running around crazy trying everything he could find (Asheron's Call, Anarchy Online ETC), but since I was just a poor ten-year old at the time I had to setttle with RuneScape.
Guild Wars was the first MMO for me (it was free and the pvp was a blast), then EQ2 and now my current addiction is LotRO.
i hate mmorpg's with the exception of Navyfield (www.navyfield.com) that game will always be #1 in my heart
