[sub]But... But... I bought and loved Shadows of the Damned... D=[/sub]

Honestly though, I find him very hit or miss. I don't particularly like No More Heroes, yet I adored Killer7 and SotD, and while I haven't yet played it, I think I'd be very "meh" about Lollipop Chainsaw.

I... I might have to use the duck as my new avatar. This panel is perfection. Well done, Cory. [And Grey for having the idea, I guess. :p]

I legitimately laughed hysterically for a good minute at the luchador duck reveal. Good show Grey.

Haha, yeah, glad I'm not the only one to make the Girl Chan in Paradise connection. See the spoiler in my post above. It's the first thing my mind went to. lol

This reminds me of the hidden ending of Resident Evil 2.
Are you talking about the Silent Hill "Dog Ending", or did RE2 also had an "Animal Mastermind" ending?

Now, ya see, you're being sarcastic, but male genitalia actually does jangle with just about every movement. You just don't see it often because banana-hammocks are a rarity, much to the chagrin of my funny bone.

Oh god I want that mask. Also, this does make perfect sense. I'm putting my weight behind this theory.

Me and you both, brother. No one else though. It shifted less than 20k copies in its first month.

I bought SotD, too but not at the release. :> I liked it and it was better then NMH for me, but its still nothing compared to K8. :<

Every game after K7 is just about combat, where K7 had at least some riddles and exploring.

I've never played a Suda game, tbh. Not because I have anything against the guy or the stuff he makes; just kinda because I've never gotten around to them.

I honestly need to get around to playing No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned. >.>

Well, as crazy as Suda 51's design process and creation style is, you can't argue it's not entertaining. Much more than a lot of AAA titles any way.
But Grey, Corey, if you do have real, non-satirical hate for Suda, then Yahtzee would have words with thee (to paraphrase the Mighty Thor).

Sadly, Suda51 games suffer from the same problem as Deadpool. The story and writing might be hilarious but the gameplay is a boring grind. I've never played Killer 7, though. I wonder if that game is actually fun to play and not just watch.
Also, even craziness can become routine, and his recent games are quite similar.

Gigolo mode! *looks it up on youtube* I don't understand how this is a gigolo mode. Shouldn't he be the one stripping down to his underwear and being sexy for her? Then as he turns, his ball sack should be swaying softly because you know, every movement makes human flesh move like light feathers in the wind.

She hired him for sex didn't she? Why does he think he has to give her gifts to get sex with her, she is paying him for sex. He needs to be stripping and dancing, that's what she paid him for.

I get the feeling this isn't a true gigolo mode, I get the feeling that the cheerleader game isn't really what a bunch of male gamers like to clap their hands about thinking that's a proper strong female protagonist.

I get the feeling people are over estimating Suda 51 talents.
Gigolo is actually in use in Japanese as one of those English loan words with a slightly different meaning in Japanese. In, for example, a dating sim, a player who juggles multiple girls instead of picking one is said to be engaging in "gigolo play." I may have gotten the second word wrong there, but you get the gist of it.

OT: I have never played a Suda 51 game, so I can't really comment. I've had the PS2 version of Killer 7 on my shelf for a year, maybe even two years, but I still haven't gotten around to playing it. I really wish I had more free time.

He's the grindhouse director of gaming, and well that means a large preportion of his stuff is going to suck. So sadly this is an example, the trailers were gibberish so i passed and couldn't be bothered with it and i guess it was the right call.

Suda 51 is kind of like Deadpool. You either hate how what they are famous for is being zany and random(At least in the newer ones) or think that he is god of comedy that can do nothing wrong!

Silent Hill 2 actually, where she finds out a dog was controlling the whole thing.
