This, that's what made the romance part of the Mass Effect games so good; it was there and an important part of the game, but it was never the main point of the game and it never seemed shoehorned in there. The romance isn't the story, it's something that happens within the story.Kolby Jack said:Hmmm, nothing specific, but I am a huge sucker for a good romance in story. I don't like it when romances ARE the story, but I do love it when two characters I like fall in love.
Though I do like romance stories in general, so I end up reading a lot of manga since there's loads to choose from there. Problem is there's always something that really grinds my gears about them, it seems like if they get the art and premise down ok they make the protagonist into an underage bumblecunt, essentially making sure that no real progress will ever be made, stuff like that.
I can't really think of any other really guilty pleasures other than that, unless you count playing(and enjoying) games that I can't really get behind.
